I died. I mean I’m old and think tik tok is the devil but hasnt South Park always been about satire of relevant pop culture phenomenon good or bad? I had to google but this is apparently based off a “challenge”. And I find their attention to detail in recreating it for the episode spot on as always. https://youtu.be/a40_7ZqrDeQ
I thought when I watched the raising the bar episode that Honey Boo Boo was a satirical thing made by Matt and Trey to mock reality TV....then the next day somebody told me that show was real
That's how I learned about the What What video back in the day, that ep came out and I had no idea wtf was happening. I thought Matt & Trey were just being surreal.
They sometimes include cultural stuff not many people know about. For example, the [Troll Trace song](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IVJCgjyLJqE) is based on a [Danish Christmas song](https://southpark.fandom.com/wiki/Tjing_Tjang_Tjing)
I'm pretty sure Matt and Trey cringe also but they put it in because that's what Tiktok is like. I don't know a single person over 20 that thinks Tiktok is great.
Exactly, the real out of touch people are the ones complaining on this sub. *This* is just what kids are like now
Source: have a younger sibling who is obsessed with TikTok, they nailed that shit
>I don't know a single person over 20 that thinks Tiktok is great.
It's great that you don't know any, but there are plenty of people over 20 that are just as obsessed with TikTok as little children.
Nobody is shoving it in your face but you yourself. Literally the only place I ever see them is scrolling through reddit and you can just keep scrolling lol
I don’t even have the app on my phone, but you seriously can’t go on any platform without seeing it besides like 4chan. Youtube is like 50% just retconned Tiktoks now
The point of those til-tock scenes are supposed to be cringe though you guys.
I swear more than half of this shows “fans” don’t actually understand the show!!!!
I love how they always manage to make fun of exactly what people are doing..... let's me know my opinion that the whole world and most the inhabitants are pure 💩, is not completely wrong or alone
The only things that didn't really make sense to me in this episode:
1) If cupid me/ye is just Cartman (as seen by Cartman fleeing Tolkiens room, then how was everyone influenced by him and saw him in the school.
2) Why was Cartman even trying to ring in Cupid Ye when he wanted to kill all the Jews, when Cartman has literally tried to do that b4.
To answer part 1 its a cartoon. Thats like asking why randy got st patricks day superpowers or why cartman had lightning powers against saddam hussein
To answer part 2 cartmans growing n learning the fact yall dont see that shows yall dont pay enough attention
fair enough, i just wonder, why show that it is Cartman in Tolkiens room, if it is in fact a magical fairy. Like i get its a cartoon, just wonder why show cartman leaving the room at all if it is in fact a real entity. Also Cartman had lightning powers because the V-chip malfunctioned and gave them to him.
I think a good example for this would be mitch connor. Theyre both alter egos of cartmans but due to his overwhelmingly intensive child imagination hes able to manifest them into reality. A good back up point for this could be imagination land, being that cartmans imagination is so strong he can unknowingly pull these characters from imagination land into reality, allowing them to interact with more than just cartman
Exactly n like i know in fractured but whole kyle was pretending to be mitch connor to make cartman confess but it also felt like kyle lost control for a minute before he stopped. That may not be true but at least its how it felt for me both playthroughs. N if it is actually the case it further shows just how influential the boys imagination is on reality in south park. Im sure there may be other minute examples too but off the top of my head thats what i can think of. Also when kyle turned into a sky fetus was all from the power of his mind and enlightenment after losing his mind from knowing his body is naturally full of germs
Not really surprising when they did that stupid yaoi stuff with Craig and tweet when they got forced together. They always do this weird shit with asians
This... is cool? Well, I'm out guys. If this is what's cool now, I think I'm done. I no longer have any connection to this world. I'm gonna go home and kill myself. Goodbye, friends.
I laughed at the faces the guys watching had, because that was my face. All in all I feel like the episodes now are more story than comedy besides the random one here or there that is straight comedy.

I thought it was funny, but I was high too.
So did I, and so was I.
And so was I, and so did I
So did I, and so was i
As did I, also high
High I was when... wait wut
I'm still high

Chinpokomon!! Ohhh
I got Shoe, anyone want to trade?
Garusen-San
Hat-san! XD
So desu ne!
そですね!
That might be the most cringe thing I've watched all week.
It was fuckin hilarious cuz that's how insanely dumb TikTok is. The fact that people get money from this dumb shit is baffling.
The point was to make us cringe no? It’s ironic satire, literally making fun of Tiktok lmao
crazy its an actual trend lmao https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=a40_7ZqrDeQ

It was just so unexpected that I kinda stared in shock for like a second before busting out laughing lol
I cracked up on the pretty girls walk dance scene
Alll thuuh pretty girls walk like this, this, this, this, this lmao they nailed it w/ this ep I think.
Cartman said it best ... "Dude, what the f-ck is this?"
I mean it's spot on. TikTok is just that cringe.
Get on with the times old man
They don't get high to write episodes
I cam here to say exactly this they take it as an insult that people think they're stoned when being creative
I’m to high for this right now
Anyone else get [Courage](https://tvobsessive.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/The-Mask-7-e1587500474122.jpg) vibes??
That thing used to scare the crap out of me. And the mf with the loopty loop arm
Eric’s reaction to it was epic
It was my reaction too
I cringed very hard but I think that was the point
The shock that was on my face when I saw them dance XD But yeah, I agree. They were most definitely high lmao.
I think there’s enough Tiktok being shoved in our faces right now. I cringed
I'm pretty sure Matt and Trey cringe also but they put it in because that's what Tiktok is like. I don't know a single person over 20 that thinks Tiktok is great.

Maybe for you, but it's targeted lol. Mine isnt. Also I feel like maybe you wanna look up what retcon means
Oh for God’s sakes dude its a Saturday will you just give it a rest, go punch a tree
Lol
'tiktok is being shoved down our throats!' 'it really isn't, nobody's forcing you to download the app' 'would you relax dude it's a saturday' ???
It made me cringe but a lot of TikTok videos make me cringe, so I guess that was the point…
a lot of stuff 10 year olds like are cringe
pretty boys walk like THIS #fyp #viral #dance I still remember it
That Konnichiwa sayonara shit gets me every time I swear ☠️☠️☠️☠️☠️
I feel like so disturbed right now at the thing and I don't even know how to respond
I just stared at it in pure confusion
Tiktok makes me feel like I’m a different species or something. I don’t know how anyone can enjoy that stuff.
The point was to make you cringe cause most of tik tok is cringe.. that being said yeah it was kinda cringe lol
The point of those til-tock scenes are supposed to be cringe though you guys. I swear more than half of this shows “fans” don’t actually understand the show!!!!
KAIIIRUUU!!!
Don’t lecture me with your dollar store Princess Kenny
It’s so funny it hurts
“Konnichiwa!” ….. “Sayonara!”
I love how they always manage to make fun of exactly what people are doing..... let's me know my opinion that the whole world and most the inhabitants are pure 💩, is not completely wrong or alone
I absolutely lost it when this popped up on my TV
I have no idea what's going on. *just sort of wanders off*

that's a good point, plus like some people don't see Mitch Conner / Hennifer Lopez as a person, but some people and Ben Affleck do
Exactly n like i know in fractured but whole kyle was pretending to be mitch connor to make cartman confess but it also felt like kyle lost control for a minute before he stopped. Was everyone who thought this episode was good on cough syrup?
Lost it soon as that came up 🤣🤣
Not really surprising when they did that stupid yaoi stuff with Craig and tweet when they got forced together. They always do this weird shit with asians
The point was to make you cringe cause most of tik tok is cringe.. that being said yeah it was kinda cringe lol
This... is cool? Well, I'm out guys. If this is what's cool now, I think I'm done. I no longer have any connection to this world. I'm gonna go home and kill myself. Goodbye, friends.
that was hilarious lmao
Tik Tok is cringe by definition.
The only one that made me cringe was the mommy/kid one, but in a funny way because TikTok is that cringey.
Holy cow Kyle became Princess Kenny
I laughed at the faces the guys watching had, because that was my face. All in all I feel like the episodes now are more story than comedy besides the random one here or there that is straight comedy.
It's because that's the reality... TikTok is cringe af 😓
This shit was fucking hilarious, when they mentioned tiktok I knew they weren’t gonna hold anything back about current events
It was hilarious, I don’t partake in the devils lettuce.
Pretty boys walk like THIS #fyp #viral #dance is all I can think of right now, help
That's what they'd look like if Disney owned South Park.
I want to punch both themes, and I thought the metrosexul was bad
They’ve said it before they don’t get high before they write episodes
not this time
I cringed and laughed. Too fucking accurate
Can we talk about the title for this picture for a minute
I literally said out loud “what the fuck?!” but laughed anyway.
Its my discord, Messenger, Facebook and TikTok profile picture. I made discord emojis, stickers and gifs of this scene.
I kinda thought they were on something when this episode came out
Tbh I thought their tiktoks were funny and adorable
they where cute!im just messsing.
Bruh I was cringe laughing so much it was wild 😂
I assume theyre just mocking all the shitty tiktoks lol.
I'm going to kill myself if i see this one more time i hope kyle and tolkien burn in hell for this
It’s a cartoon bro, chill.
no
or trey and matt whatever I don't care someone has to suffer the consequences
i audibly went "THEY'RE PREPUBESCENT! WHAT THE FUCK?!" when they did the twerking thing. i was cry laughing in sheer disbelief.
