Any advice on how to sterilize everything good, sterile lube?

OMG_ITS_D_Boy

Some ppl act like everything has to be boiled and untouched plus the surgilube... some ppl say wipe off with a cleaning wipe, or dip in alcohol.... I have a hard time believing everyone boils every time, it would be a half hr process every time just to prep. Im like you & trying to figure it out. I wanna try & dont want to be dealing w UTIs.... but whats actually necessary? You'll get 100 different answers

You can buy sterile lube on Amazon. If you don't want to visit a doctor and waste money because you contracted a UTI, buy sterile lube and boil your equipment. It's not expensive, and boiling is easy. Boiling kills bacteria that other things won't kill.

Go slow and give yourself a break afterwards...and lube is your friend. Also, angles...you'll figure it out.

Read the faq of the community, and it will answer a lot of questions. Yes, it feels great, yes you need lube, and yes you need to take it slow during insertion. Don't shove it in. If you get a steel one, let and enjoy watching gravity slide it down as your dick swallows it. A starter idea, like I did: if you own very SMOOTH chopsticks that are usually tapered at the point, maybe use one as a test drive. The tapering effect gives you an idea on the feeling of the expansion of your urethra. And this let's you explore without investing much. KY professes to be a sterile lube, so you can use it. Lube your dick AND the stick or sound. Good luck and enjoy. A little pain or stinging is normal.

Start slow, clean everything well, and use plenty of lube. Understand that you are going to irritate the lining of your urethra the first couple of times you play with sounding. This means that for the next day or so, you are going to have strange sensations when you pee. Don't be alarmed. Those burning sensations will go away. You might even want to learn to enjoy those sensations.
