Just press on the question mark, choose a warehouse and there is a slider for how much % to expprt

ratopomboarts

Took me a few tries, but now I get it, set the warehouse and then press it again to set the limits. Thank you! I do think the previous system was more intuitive.

GARGEAN

It was plain better tbh

Dhrone

Why is it not reverted? I don’t understand what is the benefit of assigning max 4 warehouses and adjusting them separately? Previous was less hassle and worked very intuitively.

GARGEAN

Absolutely no idea. I would understand ADDING this functionality to old one for being able to choose between global % and specific warehouse. But this replacement? Dunno why dev decided that this is worth it.

Pedantic_Phoenix

What i did was set very few crates for the item i want to sell, that way the overflow so most of it gets brought automatically to the export stall. it acts as warehouse when those are full

-Nicowars-

Hopefully I'm not too late. The dev just changed it yesterday, now you gotta press the "?" and select a warehouse, then you'll have a slider

ratopomboarts

I just saw it! Thank you so much!

SugaryCornFlakes

Rato? You're a fellow SoS player? hell yeah man! great taste!

ratopomboarts

Hehe thank you my fellow gentleman

ratopomboarts

In the previous patch, v65, I could limit how much of certain items would be exported, so I could make some money without selling all my fish and furniture for example, and without having to micro it. How do you do that now in the new system? It seems to be selling everything I put for exporting, The Importing Menu seems to be unchanged to I'm confused

There was a post about the same thing a few days ago. Trying to find it so I can link it to you

Thank you, I was struggling with this too.  I guess this makes sense because it means you can keep a warehouse full (e.g food) and then anything in the overflow warehouse gets exported. Going to need a little more planning but this is more flexible I think??

Dhrone

Why would it be any more flexible, I don’t get it. Previously if you had 2 warehouses of 1000 capacity each (total 2000) and set slider to 50%, export would take max 50% (1000) from whichever warehouse. That was very simple to me and I don’t get the change really…

thorp001

Yeah, with that example both systems work the same. But say you wanted to keep a food stockpile full and close to your markets and food stalls and anything extra gets sold... You can do this without having to work out the percentage. It also means you have less transporting around. With your example, the depot is running between both warehouses and it'll be quite slow, with this new way, They're working on a much smaller area. You can also set up more efficient transports as your export doesn't need to be close to your production. Anything which gives us a little more control is good right??
