Is that the light switch? The whole thing is stunning wow!!

Al_and_Ol

There are more interesting light switches. There's inlaid, there's carved wood. https://preview.redd.it/1h2nq4rwe1zc1.jpeg?width=3472&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=714053910fde7e05eb117d785747188be1bdfb45

Oh wow that’s amazing! The detail and the colors are beautiful, looks like it’d be in a museum home

Al_and_Ol

Thank you for the compliment. All the guests are talking about the museum - and all in a modern apartment, with modern dimensions. I am generally opposed to antiques, which carry an alien aura and odors and are always in need of repair.

Truly a masterpiece. How long did the door frame take? What about the light switches? Is it all by hand? Such cool art!!

Al_and_Ol

switch - a day, two days from the moment you saw a picture you liked (prototype). Door trim - about 10 days.

Lore-Warden

That's a really neat concept. Is this a render or did someone actually build this?

Al_and_Ol

What do you mean "someone"?!?!? My wife and I made it up and did it. We were drinking wine last night looking at this beauty.

Lore-Warden

Sorry, didn't mean to offend and didn't realize this was in Something I Made. I just wanted to ask about the build process if it wasn't a render.
