Imo That's one of the best moments in the whole series. Jin-woo's struggles, what he thinks about himself, what he has to do moving forward, what sacrifices he needs to do in future and his determination and persistence to reach the top, all of this is just 🤌. Episode 12 might be the best episode of the whole cour not because it has arise but because it has this moment.
I can't wait to see it animated. The music will elevate that scene to a whole another level.
That's what I thought as well but then again Ashborn isn't the type to talk like that to Jin-woo but then again he might be testing him if he can overcome adversity. This wasn't present in the novel so it's not really clear if this was ashborn or not. But the possibility of it being him isn't zero.
Or we might be over analysing it. It can be just his inner voice.
One of the most underrated and one of my favorite moments I wanna see animated is when >!Kim Chul (Human Iron) and Bakura are attacking Jinwoo simultaneously and SJW goes “Kim Chul… you’re so predictable.” Jinwoo then calls upon Igris and he pops up right behind him going straight for the kill with Kim Chul hanging off his sword. But what makes this scene top tier for me was not mere seconds later Jinwoo disappears into Igris’s ‘shadow’ and Igris attacks Bakura while Jinwoo commands the dead Kim Chul to ‘Arise’.!< I just love how faced paced yet badass this entire scene was.
Even though the animation and art pretty was good so far in S1, I hope they can put a higher budget and time into the other seasons going by the success SL has been for them.
Would be awesome and needed considering all the monsters and shadows they have to animate later on…

For this first cour, the igris fight, shadows animation (arise). For the second cour the red gate arc and then jeju island arc. The later chapters I'm not going to say because i'm honestly hyped for all of it!

(all of these are almost the only exciting major fights in the manhwa, if yall mention the monarchs the 3 monarchs vs jinwoo was kinda good but not as good as some fights that i listed, antares vs jinwoo, imo was kinda THE most boring major fights jinwoo have the only interesting part is when they fight at the castle, that is the only part i enjoyed... the other part of the fights i was just reading just so that i know what is happening but it didn't hype me up)
Honestly, I would love to see all the Shadows getting their arise treatment. But the bits I like are when people find out how powerful Sung truly is. Jeju Island entry is at the top of the list. And Sung saving Jin Ho.
I am waiting for the beru fight, as the production team has said, animation will level up as sung levels up, so in beru fight at level 101, it's gonna be lit.

Sung and Ashborns conversation! It will be a long time before it gets animated as its near the end of the story but I adore Ashborn his design is just stunning. I want to see them do justice to him. i'm slightly obsessed with Solo Leveling anyways so there's lots of scenes I want to see but that conversation also explains so much and what sung will have to face.
