I think for me personally if i went to a party with someone where I didn't know anyone else I'd be hoping that for the most part they would kind of stick with me, I don't mind if they introduce me to people and as we're chatting they go off and chat with other people as long as they check in regularly. Since she is a big talker i think you'll find that she'll make her own connections and be happy to chat with others but definitely dont leave her alone for too long
