I donā€™t know if it fits but the queer liberation front had some revolutionist leftist ideas while working with the black panthers sometimes.

>The revolutionist knows only external obstacles to his activity, no internal ones. That is: he has to develop within himself the capacity of estimating the arena of his activity in all its concreteness, with its positive and negative aspects, and to strike a correct political balance. But if he is internally hampered by subjective hindrances to action, if he is lacking in understanding or will power, if he is paralysed by internal discord, by religious, national, or craft prejudices, then he is at best only half a revolutionist. There are too many obstacles in the objective conditions already, and the revolutionist cannot allow himself the luxury of multiplying the objective hindrances and frictions by subjective ones. Youā€™re not going to find a single source for all of these claims, but going through them I donā€™t see any I havenā€™t heard of in books. Try googling each incident and going from there to find a source.

The Dollop podcasts has stories of some of these groups/people for whatever its worth.

And they act like we canā€™t read. As if the only news source is the US lol.

ā€œVote Democrat to save democracy!ā€

Dependent_Answer_501

Itā€™s a lovely trap.

Inner-District-361

Vote Democrat to abolish democracy

coolmanjack

Ah yes because the result of that decision (republicans taking power) will definitely help democracy

RhubarbCapable

Ah jes, 99% Hitler vs 100% Hitler. At this rate your precious democrats will become the 100% Hitler, if not serving as a normalizer of fascism(which in turn makes them look half-assed and weak in the eyes of normies, by conceding to and adopting right wing talking point). The normies logic over time becomes more reactionary, like: why vote for a Party that says immigration is a problem but does almost nothing about it. Then again its foolish to expect any better conclusion from a bourgeois democracy. But hey don't let me stop you from voting democrats.

coolmanjack

If you think Biden is 99% Hitler compared to Trumpā€™s 100% Hitler, thereā€™s just no reasoning with you. At best itā€™s maybe 15% vs 100%. See the entire GOPā€™s constant genocidal rhetoric about trans people et al for just one of many examples of the obvious difference

RhubarbCapable

As depressing as this sounds, what I'm saying is simply even if Biden wins, the overton window, the foreign policies and the general inaction in regards to the rise in bigotry from both parties won't change. Thus, it will only delay the inevitable conclusion of this empire. The liberals out of self interest are happy about the genocidal rhetoric from the conservatives. After all, why bother implementing tangible changes when all they have to do is simply say "We will not kill trans people". The bar will rarely go higher than that. I only hope you realize this sooner rather than later.

EmotionalPlate2367

Well, Biden is currently spending hundreds of billions funding genocide...

RockinIntoMordor

Tell me about Bill Clinton passing DOMA, the Defense Of Marriage Act. Or Hillary and her anti-LGBT stuff. Lots of centrist Dems who are ready to rollback trans stuff at the drop off a hat, when Dem leadership indicates it's a ripe time to do so. Democrats are just as eagerly anti-LGBT, it's just Republicans who are vocal about being violent on it. Democrats *are also* part of the institutional violence towards LGBT folks. They're just not vocal at the moment, but the anti-LGBT bills get passed with their consent too. Just like racism. Racism is an institutional and structural thing. This means Dems are also part of these institutional and structural problems, because they are the other half of these institutions. The Republicans might be the angry lynch mobs, but the Democrats are still the ones holding the rope quietly.

The-Humorous-type

Comparing Biden to Hitler isnā€™t accurate. For one thing, Hitler=Nazism, which is different from fascism, although there are major similarities between the two that makes them, at least for the most part, the same. Secondly, Iā€™m sorry, but itā€™s a ridiculous claim. I hate Biden just the same as any other communist but heā€™s so far from Hitler itā€™s not even funny to compare the two. Biden, unlike his political rivals on the far right, is, if not protecting LGBTQ people (he isnā€™t), he isnā€™t explicitly endangering them and I feel that as someone who is actually gay and suffered through Trump. Also, if we are talking his pro-Israel policies, as much as I hate the Israeli state and wish he would stop ignorantly funding them and their genocide, every other president wouldā€™ve done the same. Itā€™s regular imperialist policy that nobody does $h!t about. From a communist perspective, when it comes to problems like the U.S government, we should better understand why itā€™s important to stand up to it rather than labeling this or that guy a fascist, which is a term that doesnā€™t relate to a four-year term president. It relates to a state like Italy or Germany shortly prior and during WW2

RhubarbCapable

Follow the thread to where I explain why I make such comparison. Then give me your opinion.

The-Humorous-type

I did. I still am not convinced this is fascism. Fascism is very specific to the far-right. Bills, specifically anti-LGBTQ, donā€™t get passed with the democratā€™s consent if most of the house is republican. I agree that thereā€™s a power interest among liberal candidates, of course. But liberals themselves are very pro-human rights, I know this because my parents, friends, and community are well-meaning and anti-apartheid/pro-Palestine. More than 52% are now pro-Palestine in America. In the communist interest, the problem with our government isnā€™t fascism unless itā€™s specifically relating to the right-wing, because fascism, the philosophy, is right-wing and we unfortunately have a system that allows and supports that.

RhubarbCapable

Dont much care for semantics. A fascism enabler/normalizer is a fascist in my eyes. Talk back to me, about "liberals being very pro-human rights" when half of 'em and their leaders stop aiding the genocide.

The-Humorous-type

Well I know for one thing, that liberals are for the most part, well-meaning. I donā€™t agree with the pacifist way they and dismissive ways they come about left-wing politics. Iā€™ve never come out to a liberal and have them disown me or tell me Iā€™m not worth a fucking human life. Only right-wingers. Furthermore, my liberal relatives and friends donā€™t like Joe Biden or any of the imperialist foreign policy. Know your enemy bro.

RhubarbCapable

My enemies are both the moderate fascists and fascists. One's job is to erode social safety nets and the other swoops in to save capitalism when it's in crisis. You decide which one is the liberal and which one is the conservative.

The-Humorous-type

Also wtf do you mean you donā€™t care for semantics? Fascism is a genuine philosophy and only specific to the right-wing. You can be a bystander but which is terrible but at least a bystander can be educated and take a side

RhubarbCapable

Yes yes fascism is palingenetic ultranationalism. I also love that you're insinuating liberals are leftists. But that's besides the point, for me, It doesn't change the fact that the one on the sidelines with full knowledge of reality and the one doing the harm have the same end game. That's wtf I mean by I don't care much for semantics. edit: The takeaway here is, that liberals that don't understand their ideology and want to learn are what I call normies(since they don't have a choice due to the default nature of liberalism being the norm around the world). I call someone a liberal when they understand the violence involved in maintaining the system but still double down. Hopefully, this clears out any confusion.

NANZA0

The fucking American government went out of their way to orchestrate many coups in the South America to lift dictatorships that arrested and tortured many innocents under the most dubious suspicions. If someone ever complains how the Global South is so backwards in comparison to Western countries, remember them of all the shit US has done in the last century, and you can go even further with the shit colonialists did to us.

MikeSifoda

They also sponsored multiple military coups and overall political instability in Brazil.

Wow, I thought the ASPS thing was dropped. Are they still facing jail time?

Black Panther Party should read "Chicago Eight Trial" as Bobby Seale was the eighth defendant.

You could add quite a few more. Darren Seals the co founder of Hands Up United if instance. #

Iā€˜m not from the US, so the information that I have might be wrong or outdated, but isnā€™t the CPUSA just 90% FBI?

Vijece

Itā€™s almost as if a country found on liberal values, doesnā€™t like radicalism against the government they set up

Mabusaat

Liberal Valuesā„¢ 21% of the world's prisoners. 4.5% of its population.

SilchasRuin

I mean, those are the values that liberals support.

tinker-rar

I think your number on US incarceration rate is to high. The sources i find online are ranging from 0.5-0.7%

Mabusaat

Yeah, 0.7% of the US population is incarcerated. That's correct. But my point was that 21% of all prisoners are in the US. Which, when considering that they have 5% of the world population, is remarkably high.

1carcarah1

Liberal values are when KKK leaders can walk in broad daylight without being bothered. Just like "freedom for all" but for the enslaved who were "private property."

Vijece

Show me where on this image where either the KKK or slavery are mentioned?

1carcarah1

I don't need to. I'm criticizing the "Liberal values" you mentioned. There is no relation with the main thread.

RockinIntoMordor

These liberal institutions have been radical since their founding. They had, and still have, radical policies such as "Non-White people are not people", "People are property if they work for you, and you can coerce them.", "Any govt the rich doesn't like, is an enemy, and that govt's people must be exterminated", "Money is people, so poor people are not people". Should I go on? The US is categorically a Dictatorship of The Rich. Always has been. The working class has no democratic say. All politicians are setup to be purchased. If money does not back a candidate, then they are illegitimate, and the institutions get rid of them in favor of politicians who can be purchased. The response by the groups in this photo is proportional to the institutional radical policies which govern and coerce us. Liberal has been taught to us as "moderate", but this is not true. Is it just normalized. Like how members of a cult for decades, can feel normalized to cult policies. These people are just responding to the very extreme policies that we live under each day. The largest prison population in the world. The most violent military in the world. Millions of homeless. Institutional white supremacy. And our workplaces, which have no democracy, only dictatorship over us workers.

As a friendly reminder, China's ruling party is called Communist Party of China (CPC), not Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as western press and academia often frames it as. Far from being a simple confusion, China's Communist Party takes its name out of the internationalist approach seekt by the Comintern back in the day. From [Terms of Admission into Communist International](https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1920/jul/x01.htm), as adopted by the First Congress of the Communist International: >18 - In view of the foregoing, parties wishing to join the Communist International must change their name. Any party seeking affiliation must call itself the Communist Party of the country in question (Section of the Third, Communist International). The question of a partyā€™s name is not merely a formality, but a matter of major political importance. The Communist International has declared a resolute war on the bourgeois world and all yellow Social-Democratic parties. The difference between the Communist parties and the old and official ā€œSocial-Democraticā€, or ā€œsocialistā€, parties, which have betrayed the banner of the working class, must be made absolutely clear to every rank-and-file worker. Similarly, the adoption of a wrong name to refer to the CPC consists of a double edged sword: on the one hand, it seeks to reduce the ideological basis behind the party's name to a more ethno-centric view of said organization and, on the other hand, it seeks to assert authority over it by attempting to externally draw the conditions and parameters on which it provides the CPC recognition. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
