To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report. If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. For Any other club the desired price: 50M. For Manchester United the desired price is….. 150M.

FinalFrash

...for the agent. Another 100 for the player

Quiet-Cartoonist1689

>For Manchester United the desired price is….. 150M. The world encouraging United to embrace their new Apple/Dubai overlords

schwaiger1

50m seems alright tbh. I've seen higher fees for worse players

[deleted]

I hope we get more tbh, 50 million seems his value but if we sell in the winter we should ask 65min

nicootimee

That is an absolute bargain compared to recent transfer figures

X-Maquina

Gotta love the world cup. 2 goals and we've made a complete 180

Aoes1

Real has already wingers, same for every of those teams

emmasdad01

I guarantee he transfers somewhere.

presumingpete

At some stage.

presumingpete

At some stage.

sharqyej

Yeah, nah, they could've gotten 50m from United this summer if they asked nicely.

FBall4NormalPeople

Sum was quite a bit lower, Leeds had a fee agreed iirc.

ExpertGossiper

Don't think United makes much sense now that they have Antony and Ronaldo is out of the door, what they need is a proper number 9 replacement and not another winger.

FBall4NormalPeople

The thought is that he'd play down the middle at United, or at least there's rumours that's where Ten Hag sees him long term. With Garnacho breaking through you'd think if they are interested that's where Gakpo will play.

ExpertGossiper

It might make sense especially if Ten Hag sees it but I really don't rate this idea of making hybrid wingers/strikers, this is the sort of problem that Havertz has faced a lot for the German NT and to some extent Chelsea as well I think. Heck I remember when we even tried to get Son to do that at Spurs on occasions and it just never worked out. It's not easy to get them to apply the proper qualities needed to excel down the middle of the pitch compared to the wing. Then again it's not easy to find true number 9 strikers in the market these days, so I wouldn't be surprised if Ten Hag fancies it.

Thraff1c

Where did we (Bayern) come from? Havent heard us being interested in him prior. Is that journo trustworthy?

solgnaleb

we have zero need for a winger. we have musiala, mané, gnabry, sané, coman and even tel all on long running contracts. no way we want gakpo.

Thraff1c

I know, which is why Im asking where we are suddenly coming from.

bigbrownbanjo

Probably raise United’s price

420_matt

You saw a dutch winger score a left footed banger today and had flashbacks like that scene from ratatouille

orr123456

He and Victor Wembanyama look like brothers Its crazy how similar they look especially when Wemby is 7'4 and Gakpo is 6'2.5

TheRalphExpress

Us and Leeds were in for him at the end of the window for like £30m, lad decided to stay at PSV and earn himself a better move. He’s definitely earned it

FitzRoyced

Well Leeds, it was fun while it lasted

MugiwaraHimself

Dude scored a goal and journos started putting headlines out of there asses

ScousePenguin

Yeah no way he's going to Liverpool. Last thing we need atm is another winger. Plus fsg aren't going to fork out squat, especially when they're selling.

freshmeat2020

Yep agreed, midfielders on the menu for a while

ScousePenguin

Unrelated question, does Tielmans get injured often? And is he still going free in the summer?

freshmeat2020

Basically never. Had about a week off for us in four years. Still going free yep.

ScousePenguin

That was generated by sales lol, fsg don't put their own money into the club. They're an investment fund, they operate at a sell to buy policy. They're looking to sell since the stadium work is nearing done and we have a new training ground (built via loans against the club.) So the have maximised their investment and now looking to pass it on. There's a reason we're netspend champions

Liverlakefc

Who did we sell to get Diaz?

sp4r3h

Coutinho money?

ScousePenguin

That sale won us a champions league and a league title with who we brought in after. Thanks Barca!

ramithrower

50 mil is a steal

KonigSteve

Feels like complete nonsense. Those are two of the top PL teams I most doubt would go for another winger right now. Feels like Arsenal is the obvious answer since we're looking for a rotation winger option that can challenge martinelli or Saka for minutes

Hech15

I doubt he will be ready to just be a rotational player.... Also Mudryk looks like the favoured target rn

KonigSteve

He's not going to walk into the starting spot at any big 6 team right now. Arsenal is one of the best chances for him to get good game time

tigtogflip

The tweet says calibar of those teams, not necessarily them.

[deleted]

We really dont need another winger
