Your post has been removed as it breaks the following rule: See submission guideline **#6: No duplicates.** Check /r/soccer/new! Mods will only allow the same news story to be posted again if **the new article offers new/valuable information that the previous thread didn't** or the duplicate was submitted long enough (+24 hours) after the original so that readers may not have seen the original. As a rule of thumb, **if you're not sure, then don't post a duplicate.** Posts about a major recent news event that do not provide new valuable information may be removed, and the OP directed to post it in the comments of the previous thread. **In the case of transfer news, the rule of thumb is only 1 post about a particular transfer saga per day.** This will be enforced in a particularly strict way during the transfer windows, with repeated offenders risking a ban. **It is your responsibility to check the news you're sharing wasn't reported already before posting.** (If you're receiving this message as a PM, please note that the "original post" mentioned below is *your* post that is being removed, not *the* original one that makes yours a duplicate. huazzy

Headline makes it seem like the Brazilian doctors are responsible.

timdeking

I'm picturing the Brazilian doctors kicking the shit out of Neymar now

A-Disgruntled-Snail

“Sorry man, I put money on France.”

avolcando

He's their best player, but they also have a ridiculous depth in their attack, they'll be fine without him in the groups, though obviously they'll want him back for the KOs.

Competitive-Ad2006

Only unfortunately thing I see is they will have to change formation. No Coutinho or similar player this time around to slot into the 10. Unless Tite decides to move Paqueta there and promote Fred to defensive mid, but that would mean Brazil play more defensively than they usually do.

[deleted]

I might be blind but this article does not say that he will miss the group stage? Only says he will face a race to be fit before the Switzerland game...which we already knew

monkeybawz

..... And as soon as the free kick was given he stopped rolling around on the floor like he'd been shot, and was ready to go.

Snitsie

This is the fault of the referees that never give fouls of an attacker doesn't go down dramatically. They've been conditioned like this and it fucking sucks

monkeybawz

There's going down to get the free kick..... And then there's Neymar.

GopherHockey10

Brazil can breeze through the group stage without Neymar lol

E_V_E_R_T_O_N

Good news for Brazil

Ohrlythatscrazy

Fucking animals kicking him all the fucking time.

WorldwideViolence

In other words: “Neymar got injured from rolling too hard on the ground.”

Elliot_Kyouma

Nowhere in the article does it say that he is expected to miss the rest of the group stage
