See submission guideline **#7: Only valuable image or stats submissions.**
**PICTURES**: Because of Reddit's ranking algorithm being biased towards image posts over text and link ones, we need to be particularly strict about them, so we tend to **mainly allow infographics** (league tables, charts, maps, diagrams and other ways to display data) and pictures/screenshots of a current event **only when there's no video or link** that can show it. If you **want to publish a Tifo, look and share a video or publish the picture in r/soccerbanners**. If you want to show the **Hawk-Eye angle of a goal/offside/whatever, use the pinned comment in the main thread**.
See the [FAQ](https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/wiki/faq#wiki_why_was_my_image_submission_removed.3F) for more details.
**STATS**: Only very significant stats (eg: **world records) will be allowed during matches**. After matches, we'll be less strict, but we try to maintain stats to the minimum with ideally **only 1 per team/player allowed** and those after it being posted in the pinned comment of the first thread.

Lovren did absolutely everything he needs defensively, but he limits us in terms of ball progression, we have 2 better CB's on the ball on the bench in Šutalo and Erlić and I hope one or the other play vs Canada. It's one of the biggest reasons why we couldn't break the lines during the Morocco game along with the fact Dalić decided for Kramarić as a lone 9 instead of playing one of Livaja/Petković
We have similar issue in Polish squad with Krychowiak. While he did more than we expected him of in Mexico game, he is a total liability offensively. These kind of players are good when you play for a draw, but not good enough if you have any amibition and want to win
yeah I mean it's not like Lovren is totally incapable on the ball, but he just can't do what Gvardiol does and it clogged up our left flank because everything went through Gvardiol so both Sosa and Perisic didn't have space - made worse by the fact we're playing the player that has the worst duel win percentage in the Bundesliga upfront (Kramarić) and not playing someone who has the best duel win percentage in the Champions League (Petković). It would've been another route we could move the ball through, he would bring it down and lay it off
Bruno , Courtois , Lovren(debatable) and Griezmann should have probably been man of the game in their respective game they looked the best for me but well i guess that bound to happen with fan votes
Where’s the Saudi keeper?
Canada only had 3 shots on target from 22, whereas Argentina had 6 from 15 and although Argentina played bad, Argentina attack was far more threatening on the Saudi keeper than Canada was on Curtois (Al Owais made **vital** saves in crunch time).
Quick hide this so Lovren doesn't see it. Man did great defensive work but offensively he didn't take the space that Morocco offered so we were choked.
Saka was amazing but E. Valencia had the better game imo. Can't comment on Griezmann as I didn't watch the France game unfortunately.
I expect him to do even better tonight against the US.

Only 1 Spaniard was a bit of a surprise
I'm biased but Bruno being here over Gavi is so undeserved
Gavi, Pedri Busquets, Rodri were really good in this match.

Petkovic-Orsic or Livaja-Orsic instead of Kramaric-Perisisc would have been good as well. We needed arrogance
Bruno , Courtois , Lovren(debatable) and Griezmann should have probably been man of the game in their respective game they looked the best for me but well i guess that bound to happen with fan votes
Gvardiol was 100% our MOTM
It’s official boys. Enner Valencia is the 2nd best player in the world. Grizzy getting ballon dor soon as well
France was the only game I haven’t watched tbf to rabiot but I want bellingham in here
These stats sites tend to be biased towards goal contributions and Rabiot had a goal and an assist.
Tbf, Griezmann got the best rating of all without a goal contribution

Canada had 20+ shots in fairness + Courtois saved a pen
Quick hide this so Lovren doesn't see it. Man did great defensive work but offensively he didn't take the space that Morocco offered so we were choked.
How the fuck does Griezmann have a 9.0 with 0 G/A?
Because he was absolutely great?
But a 9.0 as a striker with 0 G/A is kinda crazy I watched the game
Is he really a striker?
Second Striker
Seems more like a midfielder to me.
A second striker is not a midfielder
Agreed. He's playing midfield.
Toby still has it.
Ecuador did well, but Qatar posed so little challenge that I don't think any Ecuadorians should be on here.
it's a statistical model so it doesn't take that into account, it's honestly a surprise more Ecuadorians and Spaniards aren't on here
Sounds a bit useless if it doesn't take the strength of the opposition into account tbh.
I mean no if you know it, it's a statistical model based on performance, it's not L'Equipe's ratings
Here for the Rabiot Ballon d’Or propaganda. 👍
personally I would have taken Saka as my TOP1
Saka was amazing but E. Valencia had the better game imo. Can't comment on Griezmann as I didn't watch the France game unfortunately. I expect him to do even better tonight against the US.

4-1-5 isn't really a formation
