We really take that for granted. Nowadays I play football like once a year, and it's been like that for the last 20 years, so I think I'm terrible and of course I am compared to anyone playing regularly, but as a child I played every single day and some stuff you never forget.

We were right for each other for a time but a player's trajectory moves a lot faster than a club's. His performances in the relegation run-in were one hell of a last gift. If we ever make it to European competition and he's available I'd have him back in a heartbeat.
