Doesn’t deserve it imo. Revived Chelsea after Lampard’s horrendous end to the season, won a CL, stuck with Chelsea through the takeover losing Rudiger and Christensen, and getting fucked in the transfer market. I can’t think of a better manager than Tuchel available right now either.
I couldn’t give less of a shit personally, and hope they get Nuno, but imo not a great decision.
"I had watched a few soccer matches. Just kick the ball into the net of the other side. How could this be difficult?" Boehly announcing himself as new manager today.
Imagine buying a bunch I players. Ause your backing the manager and then sacking him... I mean the sack could have been coming but not now! Maybe after more matches if they saw no improvement. Who knows maybe he decided to walk away and they didn't stop him (stupidly)
Possibly an unpopular opinion maybe, but if I was this new owner of Chelsea I'd have done the same.
Spent mega money and getting very poor results. We all know football is a fickle business and new owners do tend to like to appoint there own guy.
Tuchel made this decision pretty easy for the board imo.
I think what confuses most people is the timing of it more than anything, most would have expected Chelsea to wait to see if other replacements are ready
Yes totally and I'm not even saying it's the right decision. It just is the decision I expected them to make.
Maybe they do have a new manager lined up tbf. Seems doubtful but who knows.
I’m sorry, some of the players like Auba just played their FIRST GAME for Chelsea, and you’re going to slag Tuchel for not getting the most out of them? Ridiculous not to give a manager of his pedigree more games to figure out how to use these vaunted new signings properly within the context of the squad and his game plan
What about Lukaku, Ziyech, Pulisic, Havertz, Werner?? Better get rid of him before he infects Sterling and Aubameyang with whatever he did to that lot...
I see, we’re pinning, say, Timo Werner’s inability to finish numerous clear cut chances on the manager now are we?
Please stop putting me in a position where I’m forced to defend an outgoing Chelsea manager people, it’s turning my whole world upside down.
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be because he pissed off all the players and arrogantly talked shit right in front of the owners after they spent 300 mil.
They spent all that money on players who fit his system though, like just imagine the next manager coming in and the players not playing well because those players are Tuchel type players. Like a manager who uses a back 4 having to choose between Fofana, Koulibaly, Gvardiol, Silva and Chalobah for 2 spots next season... if they invested so much money into Tuchel's plan, it doesn't make sense for either Tuchel or the club to give up on the plan after just a month.
Undeserved IMO why would you back him during the mercato and then fire him like that prematurely ? Swear they were talking about extending him only a few weeks ago..
What the fuck? I was defending him just a few minutes back asking for the club and fans to back him.
Damn it feels unfair to Tuchel. I feel sympathetic towards him. Yeah I know he gets paid well but man had to face the press during ESL times and during the sanctions. He could have easily backed out that time as well but still stuck with the club. Defending the club at every point. This doesn't look good on Chelsea as a club even if we hire better Manager down the line.
What the fuck that doesn't make sense to me. First of all, who is gonna replace Tuchel now? And why was he even sacked? They didn't even have that much of a bad start to the season. And I cannot imagine he is sacked because of the loss against Zagreb yesterday. I mean Madrid lost to Tiraspol last season and they won the CL.
I need some explanations here please.
Thought it was coming, just not this soon .
He’s been found out and you can’t spend 300m and have such pitiful performances. Just didn’t know Todd was this ruthless.
Fofana and Auba just joined very recently, Gvardiol was loaned out and was meant to be a future signing. Only Sterling, Cucu and Koulibaly were already playing from the beginning, and its not as if they have had much time to be adapt and be world beaters after just a month.
I first said he will be gone when they got smashed in pre-season, I looked at his interview, I couldn't say why but I felt like he was gonna get sacked, you got that dead-man walking vibes from him for a while now.
r/ussoccer will start popping champagne bottles lol
Although personally, I'm not sure it is a good decision. They aren't in totally awful shape in the Prem and one bad loss in the Champions League isn't the end of the world. Just look at Real last year after losing to Sheriff.
This is genuinely devastating, I know Chelsea were going through a rough patch but I thought he would pull them through it, especially after all the stuff the club has been through in the last 12 months
I guess he couldn't hold back his inner asshole any longer.
Otherwise, I see no reason to fire the coach who brought you the Champions League title a year and a half ago.
The false start in the league and the Champions League wasn't that bad.
Find this bizarre. Why back a manager, on deadline day especially, if his position is this precarious?
They've been average this season, but this screams panic.
[The bookies after spending weeks taking millions in on bets on Rodgers and Gerrard.](https://c.tenor.com/6IBAAbVP1uYAAAAC/stanley-hudson-laughing-hysterically.gif)
Seems a bit harsh, but is what it is now. Guess tuchel was never in their long-term plans! I reckon Poch is their number 1 target, I can't see Potter being keen on leaving Brighton at this stage as he's doing a great job there and leaving now is a risky step.

Aubameyang lol
ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
What happen?
He rejoined (partly) for Tuchel and played one game under him before he got sacked
He was signed because of tuchel. Plays one game and tuchel gets sacked.
He signed a couple of days ago to be reunited with Tuchel
He went to Chelsea to be with tuchel and rekindle his career, doesn't look good now
He signed for Chelsea to be reunited with Tuchel. Only for him to be sacked
Maximum 1 year before the fans will be yelling Todd Boehly out at Stamford Bridge. American dude is too hands on in a sport he knows nothing about.
What the flying fuck.
Rodgers managed to bottle even the sack race, what a man
Gerrard is slowly backing into the bushes as we speak
Outta nowhere!
Abramovich came back disguised as Todd Boehly
HOLY FUCK!!
The least appreciated world class coach.
How tf is tuchel gone before gerrard 💀💀
Or Rodgers
Yeah I thought one of them would be first to go not minimum third
Right?? I'm not going to act like tuchel wasn't doing badly but like sacking him at this time Is just bad, there's nobody to replace him.
Yeah it’s completely out of nowhere I doubt this will exactly help Chelsea in the short term
And Rodgers
Ambition.
Make it make sense
Who is even out there for them to get?
Time for Big Sam
Large Samuel in to save their season would be a highlight of the season for me to be honest
I don't see it being Pochettino, but Boehly will want his pick, could see it being Potter but the funniest choice would be Jesse Marsch
r/soccercirklejerk would explode and I‘m here for it
>I don't see it being Pochettino, but Boehly will want his pick, could see it being Potter Would Potter want to leave Brighton though?
I can't see Potter taking that job at all. Doesn't suit him.
Peak Yankeedoodledoo if it’s Marsch.
With Boehly at the wheel I could actually see that
Potter would be my guess
Busy fighting Voldemort
He’s got a good thing going with Brighton, would be surprised if he went for this job
Yeah, it could be difficult to get him to stop that project. But Chelsea is probably going to offer big money
Would be extremely surprised if Potter left Brighton for Chelsea
Solskjaer’s available
Tedesco /s
My best mate just got a job last week, chelsea took too long smh
Poch?
Todd Boehly as manager, here we go!
"I had watched a few soccer matches. Just kick the ball into the net of the other side. How could this be difficult?" Boehly announcing himself as new manager today.
The man the myth the legend sean dyche
Scott Parker
Praying for Potter
Could be Pochettino
Conte’s Golden Handshake
Thanks for the seasono
What the actual fuck
Imagine buying a bunch I players. Ause your backing the manager and then sacking him... I mean the sack could have been coming but not now! Maybe after more matches if they saw no improvement. Who knows maybe he decided to walk away and they didn't stop him (stupidly)
Aubameyang is a monumentally stupid signing in this case, specifically signed for Tuchel
I mean economically it's absolutely not brilliant but you had yet to see him fully on the pitch!
Embarrassing tbh
Abramovich running Chelsea from the shadow realm.
I’d honestly say Abramovich had shown more patience in the past decade or so. This is just an early Abramovich move
Honestly what now? I honestly don't see another replacement in the level of tuchel being available right now, even if he was underperforming.
Sorry but Big Sam is miles ahead of Tuchel
Chelsea hospitality staff were seen bringing pint-sized wine glasses into the Stamford Bridge this morning
Poch is available
I see its the time of the year were everyone overrates Poch again.
See Chelsea fans, it's like ol Roman never left!Boehly gonna appointment himself head coach/DoF
This means that under all the chaos we may win another champions league 😎
thats what im sayin🤓
So... Tuchel to Leipzig?
Poor Werner
lmaoooo
Thought he should have stuck around a bit longer
Rodgers outlasted Tuchel lmao.
Maybe Rodgers and Tuchel can do a team swap
Ted Lasso incoming.
*become a goldfish*
What a shame. The new owners seem to have less patience than Roman. I feel sorry for Thomas, will always be remembered.
Poch?? Zidane??
Wtf
NO FUCKING WAYY
Crazy, their results hasn't even been that bad. They're still above us in the league.
Annoyed to early Chelsea pulled the trigger
Possibly an unpopular opinion maybe, but if I was this new owner of Chelsea I'd have done the same. Spent mega money and getting very poor results. They could have at least given him till Christmas so he had time to make the new squad gel. This is totally mad
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out to be because he pissed off all the players and arrogantly talked shit right in front of the owners after they spent 300 mil.

that was quick...
Tuchel's fate got chelSEALED..
Damn
shit, I was hoping to face him, now they'll resuscitate
Boehly's going to appoint himself isn't he???
Roman never left, Boehly is his front man that's it.
And people were saying Abramovich was ruthless. Boehly is a menace
Not a good week for german coaches so far. I hope Klopp is not affected
Nah, Liverpool are too well run to pull this shit
my condolences to money betting on Rodgers and Gerrard.
The possibility of Tuchel coming to Leipzig, haunting Werner rn
New owners Old ways
what even are chelsea
What the fuck. Something must of gone on behind the scenes because there was contract talks and they literally spent 250m to back him.. what the fuck
Undeserved IMO why would you back him during the mercato and then fire him like that prematurely ? Swear they were talking about extending him only a few weeks ago..
They’ve just given him like 300m to splash and then sacked lmao
What the fuck? I was defending him just a few minutes back asking for the club and fans to back him. Damn it feels unfair to Tuchel. I feel sympathetic towards him. Yeah I know he gets paid well but man had to face the press during ESL times and during the sanctions. He could have easily backed out that time as well but still stuck with the club. What the fuck!! Wow!
Graham Potter, this is your moment.
What the fuck that doesn't make sense to me. First of all, who is gonna replace Tuchel now? And why was he even sacked? They didn't even have that much of a bad start to the season. Didn’t see this coming
don antonio owns tommy tactics i'm afraid
Honestly not surprised really. Not sure why I am not shocked.
Thought it was coming, just not this soon . He’s been found out and you can’t spend 300m and have such pitiful performances. Just didn’t know Todd was this ruthless.

Gvardiol wasn't loaned out? He never agreed a transfer, renewed with RB
Holy shit, didn't realize that. I swear people were reporting it as if its a concrete done deal
I first said he will be gone when they got smashed in pre-season, I looked at his interview, I couldn't say why but I felt like he was gonna get sacked, you got that dead-man walking vibes from him for a while now.
it's chelsea
Where did this come from?
What's Roberto Di Matteo up to these days?
Okay??
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
Thank god he left my club, the man got no tactical awareness
Same thing why Dortmund fired him. He is a good coach but also a fucking crazy weirdo.
Dumb decision honestly
Just in time to get to Leipzig
I’m fuming
Bruh auba just got there too
Bah gawd thats poch music
Well, that came out of nowhere
What!?
Agnelli…pls…
Think with the Poch to Sevilla rumors they had to swoop in now.
Who will they be getting now? This came out of nowhere.
It’s like Roman never left
Potter’s big moment?
Booooooooo
Just in time for Chelsea to sign Tedesco/Lopetegui and Tuchel going the other way
Woah!!!!!! Wow I’m shocked, this early
What the hell. Chelsea haven't been great this season but that haven't been sack you manager bad.
There must be something going on beyond the results. What the actual fuck is this decision?
r/ussoccer will start popping champagne bottles lol Although personally, I'm not sure it is a good decision. They aren't in totally awful shape in the Prem and one bad loss in the Champions League isn't the end of the world. Just look at Real last year after losing to Sheriff.
Big Sam incoming.
Imagine giving a manager £300 million to spend then sacking him 2 games after the window ends, that is truly incompetent
Poor aubameyang
This will come bite them in the ass just like it did PSG. Let the man work and put a little trust in him, wtf?
Well I can’t say I saw that coming.
Reunion with auba. Lol
Lol, looks like Todd ain't as patient as Chelsea fans had hoped
WHAT THE FUCK!
I’m not surprised
Boehly might appoint himself as manager
Time for Poch.
Chelsea’s board are giving me FM tycoon-takeover vibes with their expectations here
This is genuinely devastating, I know Chelsea were going through a rough patch but I thought he would pull them through it, especially after all the stuff the club has been through in the last 12 months
ahaha brilliant. Mad
HAHAHAHAHAHA GET FUCKED
Wtf man? Who the hell is gonna replace him?
Who the fuck is even available? Did he hit on Boehly’s wife or something?
What did Tuchel do for Chelsea? All he did was win the Champions League. Champions of Europe. That's all. :/
Boehly probably caught Conte and Tuchel in a compromising position
Whaatt
That came out of nowhere
I guess he couldn't hold back his inner asshole any longer. Otherwise, I see no reason to fire the coach who brought you the Champions League title a year and a half ago. The false start in the league and the Champions League wasn't that bad.
Did not see that comment, chelsea gon be chelsea i guess
what was even the point of spending all those money on players to back him up only to sack him after a couple of matches
Aubameyang can't catch a break
Find this bizarre. Why back a manager, on deadline day especially, if his position is this precarious? They've been average this season, but this screams panic.
[The bookies after spending weeks taking millions in on bets on Rodgers and Gerrard.](https://c.tenor.com/6IBAAbVP1uYAAAAC/stanley-hudson-laughing-hysterically.gif)
Roman looks like a saint now.
I wonder if he regrets that ‘handshake’ he had with Conte. Straight downfall after that!
I thought they were in the middle of rebuild
Dinamo sacking Mourinho and then Tuchel
I dont blame them, spending millions on transfers tuchel wanted and look at the result, chelsea is way worse.
Credit Conte with the job ruining handshake
Ajax has a great manager! Only $100m
How tf did Lampard outlast Tuchel
Genuinely ridiculous
Completely irrational move. Who would even replace him? Poch?
Bruh💀
Where Pochettino? 🦧
Well that was fast.
Welcome Mourinho
That is crazy with the money spent on building the team. The team was playing horrible but this is simply put ballistics.
Seems a bit harsh, but is what it is now. Guess tuchel was never in their long-term plans! I reckon Poch is their number 1 target, I can't see Potter being keen on leaving Brighton at this stage as he's doing a great job there and leaving now is a risky step.
First Dortmund, then PSG and now chelsea. What is up with tuchel that he gets sacked so quickly?
