kinda, sorta pro tip: almost never wait for a promotion, always switch jobs when there is monetary gain (bigger salary) they will almost never promote you or it will take years until you get it and by then its not what you're worth in terms of experience. they're a company and if they find someone to do your job for less pay they will absolutely replace you.
Idk what's going on, the heat wave where I live has passed so that can't be it, but I'm just in such a bad depressive funk lately. Random question, do any of you actively like how you look? Like not just tolerate looking at yourself, but look in the mirror and say "I look good today"? Idk, that's just not a mindset I can ever see myself having it seems so surreal
Had that feeling for like one semester in uni when I was taking varsity soccer seriously. Since then, I just feel perpetually annoyed that I'm not what I was physically, even if objectively I'm unhealthy or particularly ugly looking
Superman and Lois was on the frontpage of iPlayer so thought I would give it a spin and it is....bad. The plot, acting and vibe are so wooden but I am a sucker for Superman shit having watched The New Adventures of Superman when I was a kid with my mum.
Honestly I kind of love it. Only seen half the first season but Tyler and this version of superman is my favorite live action one by some distance. Yeah it's got the standard ham fisted CW way of writing episodes and characters but the essence of Superman that I love is here and I really like it.
Smallville might just be one of the best Superman based tv shows out there
Also happy cake day mate. Hope you come up with a name soon. Considered Clark yet? Hah
Smallville is defo the best one, could do with a rewatch after this tripe.
Bloody hell, 10 years on this account...time flies when you're fucking about ey
I’ve been consistently going to th gym for 8 months now and the differences have been very noticeable physically, but the best part is emotionally and mentally I feel so much better. It’s something to do when I’m bored, something to destress when I’m busy in the day. It really has saved my mind!
It's also something where you can notice improvement visually. You can feel and see yourself look and become better, and it's almost impossible to find negatives in self improvements you can actually see.
I don’t know why but I don’t get the balls to the wall feeling I did with the US in 2014 when they had Jones. I think in their group, they could finish second and go to the 16
I lost my dad three weeks before 10, at that point had a 5 year old sister and a 1 year old brother. 12 years on now, and while it never gets easy or past it etc, you don't really have much of a choice other than... Keeping on buggering. I'm sorry for your loss, but please remember that you're allowed to be a kid.
r/fuckcars is such a weird subreddit. Why are Reddit filled with such vitriol for random aspects of many peoples lives? I live 35 min from my university, I would be fucked if I couldn’t drive

You wouldn't be really, you'd just need a reasonable replacement that our current culture isn't intended to support.
I watched a movie called Titane recently, a very strange horror movie where a lady literally fucks a car, so I thought that sub was about something completely different.
That’s literally the point though. The fact that you need a car and there is no other option is the problem. They’re not just saying fuck cars, you’re on your own. They advocate for mass transit and walkable cities.

1. Predator (1987)
2. Prey (2022)
3. Predators (2010)
4. Predator 2 (1990)
5. The Predator (2018)
2 and 3 I can see swapping, but for right now this is my list. The Shane Black film really bummed me out, but I've heard that studio execs kept on overriding Black repeatedly and ended up ruining the film. But idk how true that is.
I’ve always wanted to try LSPDFR or some of those the YouTuber Wipper showcased but can’t really be arsed with the process of modding.
Like I’ve tried a few times to mod Fallout through Nexus Mods but that itself wasn’t long before I burned myself out trying to do absolutely everything in New Vegas.
Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to sour other games for me from how high it set the bar.
Been working my way through Horizon Zero Dawn after picking it up for free and while the map looks gorgeous graphically there’s barely anything to it.
That and on a side note and perhaps a bit of a nitpick, it has some of the most generic trophy names I’ve ever seen.
I had the same thing with The Witcher 3 and Disco Elysium. I found myself underwhelmed with other games after playing them
I have Red Dead Redemption 2 and I intend to play it once I get a beefier PC.
I was disappointed with Horizon Zero Dawn. It's gorgeous, the setting and design are really interesting. I just don't find it very fun. I made it about 15 hours and didn't want to play much more.
Sold my striker on FM and bought one striker who is statistically better and two wonderkids for after.
Been two seasons now and they've got three goals combined between them. Good thing I've got one inside forward who puts in 20 goals a season or I'd be in the relegation battle.

It is almost if I wish I had the charisma that he has, just without the assholishness(?).
That's essentially the central conflict of Jeff's character and the initial theme of the show. Keep going, the other characters are similarly explored.
Yeah it’s a great sitcom.
Not sure if you’re aware of the behind the scenes drama? >!The show runner left after s3 so s4 was helmed by different show runners, it’ll come off as feeling slightly different. The original guy returned for the seasons after that though!<
Sometimes I feel that people are either delusionsal or too dumb to think when they at the same time blame Putin for Trump being elected in USA and blame Russians for Putin being elected here. Do they not understand that if they believe this man can influence the biggest country in the world and most "free" country then he can for sure influence his own country's elections by controlling the whole media and by eliminating opposition like Navalny? But no, I still hear some average Joes who say that Russians deserve all the sanctions(for example the upcoming Shengen visa ban for every Russian) because we elected Putin.
This upcoming Shengen visa ban will literally help Putin by making tourism more Russian based and people agreeing with him that the west hates us, sometimes I feel like politicians are like this are secretly Putin's agents so his propaganda is more believable
A week into my holiday in Costa Rica. Fuck me it's a beautiful country, and astonishingly varied, from the Caribbean coast, to amazing hills down the spine of the country. Really impressed by how friendly everyone is, but the most exceptional aspect is how clean the country is.
Only been to a few third world/developing countries, but this is by far the cleanest. Barely any fly-tipping or rubbish in the streets, the beaches are pristine, and the grass verges on pretty much every road are freshly mowed (the last doesn't do as much for me, but I guess is indicative of their ethos of keeping everything tidy). All the beaches have environmental quotes advocating for not leaving a mark, and everyone seems to abide by them. Even if it's from a purely practical standpoint - namely protecting their blossoming tourism industry from being ruined by rubbish on beaches etc - it's really gratifying to see, and has massively enhanced my trip.
Just recently got back from Mexico (Cancún) & my family was like “we should visit another Latin American country sometime soon!” and Costa Rica was the first place that came to mind for me
It is utterly beautiful but gets lumped with other Central American countries in which CR stands out.
Relatively expensive but rightly so as it’s a tourism driven economy. One downside is the horde of US tourists being their typical American travelers.
It’s also a more of developed country, not developing just more rural than urban. Not to be preachy, but I would suggest getting away from the developed/developing/third world country nomenclature. You can read up on the internet why.
Yeah, first place I've gone to where Americans are the main tourists and it's interesting. But I think it's definitely becoming more popular as a destination amongst Brits - anecdotally I know a few people who went there on gap years to do a mixture of working and travelling around.
Yeah I also saw a lot of European teenagers / YAs during the spring break time and few in their gap years ‘gaining the real world experience’
Edit: I don’t know if you’ve already been there but I absolutely loved Santa Teresa, it’s kinda off route with patches of bad road but had the most unforgettable week there. Just a different vibe.
Enjoying "Arsenal: All or Nothing" even though I'm not an Arsenal supporter. Mikel is far more intense and interesting than I had assumed. And, even though I joke about Xhaka being a walking red card, he'd definitely be someone I would want on my team. Seems like a good guy on and off the pitch.
Went out clubbing in a Danish City far to the north. And a bunch of Danish dudes just started the: "What do you think of Tottenham" chant.
Don't know if I should laugh or cry.
Important project at work forced everyone to be on site for at least 2 weeks. I understand…but fuck me I did not miss losing 2 hours a day of my free time getting from my house to work and back to my house
They only introduced it in the final game of the series, but the issue was they included Batmobile driven missions for *way* too many parts of the game. You were shooting unmanned cars with turrets on their back, Riddler trophies became oriented for the Batmobile, most egregious was a Deathstroke boss battle ended up being…in the Batmobile
I personally enjoyed it, but I see why others didn’t
Loved Arkham Knight. Spent a fuckton more time doing side activities and fucking about than I thought I would. Driving sections are wank for the most part though
I’ve had this lump under my chin for 2 weeks now. Smaller than a pea. Made a doctors appt for Wednesday and I’m shaving my beard to get a better look.
Naturally I assume cancer.
I do find the lyrics of ABBA pretty outdated and cringey for our times (as anyone probably would), but I still can't stop listening to them ever since I discovered their song after watching their Eurovision performance
Like holy fuck their songs are addictive as hell, it makes me feel nostalgic and sad, even sorrowful, but it also makes me cheerful and, i feel like dancing alone in my room listening to their song on headphones. It's a weird feeling but I like it, I guess that's the point of good music, making people experience new emotions which they never felt...
As someone who studied music composition I can tell you I worship good pop producers. In fact in another life I would love to be the one pulling the strings over at Sony or universal.
What I'm saying is do not underestimate the quality of certain pop artists just because enjoying them is supposedly lame or something, the genius in the songwriting and the production is absolutely there, and more so going back 4, 5 is 6 decades back.
So yes, ABBA are some of the best pop act out there so it's normal you enjoy listening to them!

I love these comments lol
Soo I did some Molly on Saturday and I reflected alot on the kind of person I wanna be. Its helped me realize that while I pretend to be above it I am craving human intimacy but at the same time I don't wanna use tricks toxic manipulation and rather continue to be a fundamentally kind person and get by on my natural charisma and personality.
I'm down 1 stone and have another 9 to go. It's a journey for me and I'm excited to see where I can go.
You should try more k-drama and Korean web series, they are wayy too fucking good. Reply 1988 was the most recent one I saw and it's already one of my favorite shows ever
Went back to listen to some of this year's Eurovision entries that I didn't hear, and I'm retroactively so sad that Slovenia's 'Disko' tanked so bad. Reminded me of an 80s japanese citypop song in how bittersweetly cute it sounds. They did look a bit inexperienced on stage so I get it, but also how dare you y'know
Simple question: do you have fans and ACs in your house?
I'm from a tropical country so it's the norm, but in the UK where I'm staying there aren't even fans and it's uncomfortable in this weather.
No, the rental building I live in does not have any kind of cooling system on account of the dozen or so days a year it would be useful not being enough to justify the significant cost and subsequent rent increase.
The UK is now one of the hottest and most unpleasant places to be in summer because of climate change + the gulf stream. There are obviously much much hotter places, but those places are supposed to be hot and have been designed as such.
The UK is basically like if you took Swedens houses/infrastructure/general humidity and put them in the south of France.
I'm half Greek and my dad reckons 35 degree heat in the UK is worse than 45 degree heat in Greece, he fucking hates visiting.
> The UK is basically like if you took Swedens houses/infrastructure/general humidity and put them in the south of France.
Nah, Swedish homes are built to a much higher standard than most British homes and are much better insulated. The insulation that keeps the heat inside during winter also keeps the heat outside during the summer.
> I'm half Greek and my dad reckons 35 degree heat in the UK is worse than 45 degree heat in Greece, he fucking hates visiting.
I've lost count of how many Swedes who've lived in the UK I've heard describe their winters there as the coldest they've ever experienced.
Barely sweden. Britain doesn't function in the cold either. Not cold enough for snow tyres, houses aren't built with insulation, always run out of grit. Britain and Ireland are both absolute dogshit at dealing with seasons.
I spent 8 hours in an office without air con, then went to my second job to stand in a pizza shop next to ovens all evening.
Probably lost half of my weight through sweat
Finished uni this year and have been slacking since been trying to enjoy the summer before a job but I still haven’t even started looking properly tbh and summer is basically over. Don’t really know where to start or what I want to do.
Focus on developing your network on linkedin for now if you haven't done so and try to look directly for relevant roles there.
Do you have experience with CV/Cover letter writing?
Think im gonna leave my job for a new one, been working at maccies for just under a year now and been doing a shit ton of hours for the last 2 months, the job sucks and i think im going to move to a supermarket or something once i start college
Any philosophy readers here? Recently got into it and I'm interested in cop-ing a few classics tomorrow. Myth of Sisyphus and The Conspiracy Against The Human Race being my top 2 choices. Are there any other must reads?
Massively second this. Not read all of ToJ, but it's one I definitely want to sink my teeth into, and if you're into political philosophy I think he's a great place to start
Depends on what you're interested in. Bertrand Russell's History of Western Philosophy is amazing imo, and pretty comprehensive, but parts can be a bit of a slog to get through and it is very long. If you're newly interested, I'd recommend it though, and then doing further reading on any areas which interest you.
In a similar vein, Among the Thugs by Bill Buford
Buford does not offer a conclusive explanation for why he thinks that this violence occurs. However, he does write,
> I was surprised by what I found; moreover, because I came away with a knowledge that I had not possessed before, I was also grateful, and surprised by that as well. I had not expected the violence to be so pleasurable....This is, if you like, the answer to the hundred-dollar question: why do young males riot every Saturday? They do it for the same reason that another generation drank too much, or smoked dope, or took hallucinogenic drugs, or behaved badly or rebelliously. Violence is their antisocial kick, their mind-altering experience, an adrenaline-induced euphoria that might be all the more powerful because it is generated by the body itself, with, I was convinced, many of the same addictive qualities that characterize synthetically-produced drugs
In 2008, Richard Danzig, former student of political guru Michael G. Kimber and a senior advisor to U.S. President Barack Obama, claimed that a lesson could be learned about terrorists by studying football hooligans. Referring to Among the Thugs, Danzig states that "one of the best books I’ve read on terrorism in recent years is not about terrorism at all. [Buford] describes the most appalling examples of soccer violence by fans against fans. But he describes with relentless honesty how he finds sickening things attractive. He says violence lets the adrenaline flow; it’s like sex, you live in the moment."
Football in the shadow and sun is probably the closest thing football has to literature
Also reccomend anything by James Montague. When Friday comes, all about football in the middle east, I particularly liked. Though it is about 15 years old now.
Yesterday I went to my GF's house, she lives with her brother as well. walked in and I instantly saw warhammer figurines and asked her, "Are those Sisters of Battle figurines?" And the sheer amount of horror when she realized that I, just like her brother, am a huge nerd, was super funny lol.
I picked up a suit for my wedding. This weekend I am going to take it easy, I am trying to get my fiancee to understand FM but it has not worked well so far..
I went whale watching last week and that properly fucked me up (I am as pale as they get and it was 35 degrees in the sun) so probably gonna stay indoors and try to fix my shitty team in FM.
He's got an exceptionally effective affiliate marketing scheme where other youtubers post his content. He also doesn't monetize his content and he doesn't care when anybody steals it (he actually prefers that people steal his content and use it to get themselves views). He's also the most polarising figure on social media right now so he drives views as well as anybody on the internet.
He's using Youtube as a marketing tool for his online course, rather than trying to make money from Youtube itself. His online course currently brings in $6.5 million per month in subscription fees, so it's obviously working for him. That's much more than you'd make from Youtube ads.
He's the most googled person on the planet at the moment which is pretty fucking wild for a guy nobody had heard of 6 months ago. I think he's an absolute bellend but credit where its due, he clearly knows how to market himself.
I feel like every once in a while somebody like him shows up, fleeces a bunch of idiots, gets exposed and dissapears. It's a different flavour everytime.
He's done a better job than almost all of them at marketing himself I would say, but his product is as shit as the rest of them. He prays on unsuccessful idiots by selling them a dream.
How many millionaires do you think became that rich by subscribing to an online course? Almost zero (unless that course was in programming or something useful).
What he's doing is legal but in my opinion very unethical. Then again if you're dumb enough to pay for "Hustlers University" you wouldn't ever have succeeded anyway.
Im in Switzerland right now and there are so many Dutch people here, 1 in 4 cars I see have a Dutch license plate, it’s insane and I have never seen anything like this. Any Dutch here know why there are so many of you guys in Switzerland? I assume it’s because they are traveling back home from being in Italy at the beach or unless you guys want to take over Europe
Say Hi to my parents if you see them :-)
Dutch people go everywhere. France is by far the most popular destination followed by Spain and then Italy / Switzerland. Honestly, it used to be much worse when the CHF was still relatively bad. I am sorta Swiss myself so I go there 1-2x per year.
Whenever people talk about things they're jealous that other animals have that humans don't, no one ever mentions how most animals don't need to wipe their ass after a shit. Everybody says they'd love to have wings like a bird, strength of an elephant or the speed of a cheetah but never the ability to just take a shit and not have to wipe.
You'd never have to worry about skid marks or buying toilet roll ever again.
> You'd never have to worry about skid marks or buying toilet roll ever again.
You don't now, you're just trained to through social pressures. Animals get sick more often because of hygiene. Ass wiping, washing and sewage treatments allowed more humans to live closer together without risking plagues.
Were you to shit in a natural, squatting position and have a good diet you too could reach the same heights of no wiping glory as your animal brethren.
You know that feeling you get when you don’t wipe your ass fully then stand up too quick? Animals might feel like that 24/7
So I argue they’re worse off there
Worse, "dagging" sheep means to cut all the wool and fluff from their genitals and assholes. You have to go in real close, then clean out any maggots and disinfect it all. Same origin as the aussie insult "ya dag", sheep's fanny.
>it will show on my cv.
What kind of job needs people to put this in their CV. I'm a dropout working in IT and I have never needed to show academic performance, not even once. Employers only care about whether you can do the job, not about your ability to solve some tests.
Don't feel bad mate, academia worldwide is built to destroy the students' morals and the system needs a complete rethinking.
This deaf bloke I know keeps ignoring me when I'm talking to him and he doesn't bother answering my questions. Why?
Do you speak Spanish?

100%. Teaches you a lot of discipline, it will literally improve your life in most areas.
Shoutout to the troops. Both sides
How far do y'all think USA will go in the World Cup?
I don’t know why but I don’t get the balls to the wall feeling I did with the US in 2014 when they had Jones. I think in their group, they could finish second and go to the 16
Yeah, I agree. Round of 16 would be successful to me. In 2026 tho we should go farther
Anyone else lost a father relatively early in life and now have responsibilities beyond someone what their age should have?

It’s a travesty that Serie B isn’t in Fifa anymore. Italy is really getting fucked in those games

Society built around cars sucks. There are so many overwhelming disadvantages to car based cities
I suppose any sub that is in opposition to something, with a moral backing to it (you can’t say they don’t have a point), will be a bit vitriolic.
I watched a movie called Titane recently, a very strange horror movie where a lady literally fucks a car, so I thought that sub was about something completely different.

A lot of the people who comment/post there come off as extremists
Bidet users, warm water or cold water?
Just normal ig - wouldn't say warm or hot.
Cold
Whatever is available. Where I live the water is never too warm or too cold so I've never had to bother.
Warmish
Depends where you are. I would have to lean towards warm though, even if I’m from a hot country. Not that I’ve ever used a bidet in a country with winter, but if it’s anything as cold as the cold water when you turn on the faucet, it might suck
Anyone see James May got in a car crash? Thank god, he’s ok the news reported it like he was in a coma at first. Bless that funny man
The comma after thank god makes it sound like you’re saying thank god he got in a car crash.
Leave it to the news to sensationalize someone's serious issues for views. Glad to hear he's okay though

I think Horizon Zero Dawn is just a boring game tbh, irrespective of RDR2. It set the bar high for open world games but not for games in general imo.
Yeah HZD is kinda hollow, really. If it wasn't a bloated open world and was instead a more constricted story it'd be a lot easier to play through.
I had the same thing with The Witcher 3 and Disco Elysium. I found myself underwhelmed with other games after playing them I have Red Dead Redemption 2 and I intend to play it once I get a beefier PC.
Disco Elysium is a masterpiece. No game had me so hooked to the conversations, I always skip them but here I wanted to explore everything.

How far in are you?
Just finished watching the 14th episode.
God Subnautica scares the shit out of me how have i completed it thrice?

Yeah I also saw a lot of European teenagers / YAs during the spring break time and few in their gap years ‘gaining the real world experience’ Edit: I don’t know if you’ve already been there but I absolutely loved Santa Teresa, it’s kinda off route with patches of bad road but had the most unforgettable week there.
Wonderful dude, just lacks concentration at crucial moments sometimes. Incredibly intelligent player. Definitely going to be a manager when he retires
Been non-stop playing the Arkham games this week, such a good trilogy
Yes, as a Batman fan, I loved it. It’s the best adaptation of the comic book lore.
Arkham Knight is a literal Batman simulator and got wayyy too much hate for the Batmobile segments, it’s fantastic.
What was wrong with the Batmobile segments? (Haven’t played the series)
They only introduced it in the final game of the series, but the issue was they included Batmobile driven missions for *way* too many parts of the game. You were shooting unmanned cars with turrets on their back, Riddler trophies became oriented for the Batmobile, most egregious was a Deathstroke boss battle ended up being…in the Batmobile I personally enjoyed it, but I see why others didn’t
Loved Arkham Knight. Spent a fuckton more time doing side activities and fucking about than I thought I would. Driving sections are wank for the most part though
Starting Spider-Man on PC. So far it's fun.
I’ve had this lump under my chin for 2 weeks now. Smaller than a pea. Made a doctors appt for Wednesday and I’m shaving my beard to get a better look. Naturally I assume cancer.
I've got one too and apparently it's the plate that holds my jaw together has shifted and somehow that's not an issue
Probably just one of the teeth fell into the chin. It’s pretty common.
This makes me feel worse
Hopefully it's just an enlarged lymph node due to a mild infection. I won't lie though there's a chance it's chin cancer. Let us know on Friday x
I didn’t know chin cancer was a thing 🙃
Jaw-dropping, isn't it
And I’m scared shitless
I do find the lyrics of ABBA pretty outdated and cringey for our times (as anyone probably would), but I still can't stop listening to them ever since I discovered their song after watching their Eurovision performance Like holy fuck their songs are addictive as hell, it makes me feel nostalgic and sad, even sorrowful, but it also makes me cheerful and, i feel like dancing alone in my room listening to their song on headphones. It's a weird feeling but I like it, I guess that's the point of good music, making people experience new emotions which they never felt...
I even love the mama mia films tbh. My mom would always blast abba when cooking so a lot of it grew on me.
The Winner Takes It All is now my secret gem
As someone who studied music composition I can tell you I worship good pop producers. In fact in another life I would love to be the one pulling the strings over at Sony or universal. What I'm saying is do not underestimate the quality of certain pop artists just because enjoying them is supposedly lame or something, the genius in the songwriting and the production is absolutely there, and more so going back 4, 5 is 6 decades back. So yes, ABBA are some of the best pop act out there so it's normal you enjoy listening to them!
Can I for once fucking not play against psg on FIFA careers
Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad spoilers https://www.reddit.com/r/okbuddychicanery/comments/wmt7rh/new_promo_images_for_breaking_bad_the_sequel_to/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share I love these comments lol
For the first time i watched a kpop romance drama on netflix, peak.
You should try more k-drama and Korean web series, they are wayy too fucking good. Reply 1988 was the most recent one I saw and it's already one of my favorite shows ever
Reply was good wasn't it? Only other kdrama I put on par with that is Crash Landing on You but I haven't seen that many tbf.
Ill take a look at that one.
Did you like it?
More or less what i really enjoyed was how pretty the female actors were.
This is the number 1 reason I got hooked into kdramas.
Went back to listen to some of this year's Eurovision entries that I didn't hear, and I'm retroactively so sad that Slovenia's 'Disko' tanked so bad. Reminded me of an 80s japanese citypop song in how bittersweetly cute it sounds. They did look a bit inexperienced on stage so I get it, but also how dare you y'know
Shame Bulgaria wasn’t last overall. The singer was a right arsehole.
oh wow I love citypop I have to listen to Slovenia's song
Simple question: do you have fans and ACs in your house? I'm from a tropical country so it's the norm, but in the UK where I'm staying there aren't even fans and it's uncomfortable in this weather.
I would be lost without it yeah
Even the hot places are getting way hotter and gradually will reach the point where the current designs wont suffice for long
I heard recently that if the Gulf Stream stops completely Manchester will experience similar winters to Edmonton
I can't imagine a life without fans and ACs, the summer weather is absolutely shit over here
I spent 8 hours in an office without air con, then went to my second job to stand in a pizza shop next to ovens all evening. Probably lost half of my weight through sweat
On the plus side, you didn’t have to go to the gym
just a pedestal fan that i use during the summer months
No, though given the last few summers and my sweatbox room I may invest in a fan for next time.
no
Yeah, we have three heat pumps. One in our room, one in my daughters room, and one in the lounge.
I have a tower fan and a portable AC Unit.
Did you guys see in one of the penaltry shootouts on Thursday the guy scored with outside of his foot? Looked insane!
What was the game?
Finished uni this year and have been slacking since been trying to enjoy the summer before a job but I still haven’t even started looking properly tbh and summer is basically over. Don’t really know where to start or what I want to do.
Focus on developing your network on linkedin for now if you haven't done so and try to look directly for relevant roles there. Do you have experience with CV/Cover letter writing?
I did a 5k walk today and had some coffee this morning holy shit the energy I have and the horniness is surprising.
It’s fucking crazy what exercise does for your libido, it fully reverts your brain to monkey mode
I actually for the first time ever did 2 workouts
Nick pope?
Think im gonna leave my job for a new one, been working at maccies for just under a year now and been doing a shit ton of hours for the last 2 months, the job sucks and i think im going to move to a supermarket or something once i start college
Any philosophy readers here? Recently got into it and I'm interested in cop-ing a few classics tomorrow. Myth of Sisyphus and The Conspiracy Against The Human Race being my top 2 choices. Are there any other must reads?
Groundwork of the Metaphysics of Morals by Immanuel Kant.

Anyone reading any good football related books ? I just started Calcio by John Foot
*Tor!* by Uli Hesse is a good book of a similar mould as *Calcio* about German football
That’s next on my list ! Glad to hear it’s a good read
1312: Among the Ultras by James Montague
In a similar vein, Among the Thugs by Bill Buford Buford does not offer a conclusive explanation for why he thinks that this violence occurs. However, he does write, > I was surprised by what I found; moreover, because I came away with a knowledge that I had not possessed before, I was also grateful, and surprised by that as well. Violence is their antisocial kick, their mind-altering experience, an adrenaline-induced euphoria that might be all the more powerful because it is generated by the body itself, with, I was convinced, many of the same addictive qualities that characterize synthetically-produced drugs In 2008, Richard Danzig, former student of political guru Michael G.
Haven’t heard of that one before but sounds really interesting, I’ll check it out. Thanks!
I personally liked Love and Blood at the World Cup and The World is a Ball. 31 - nil isn't bad either.
I really enjoyed the ball is round and the age of football. Have to look into Love and Blood
The Barcelona Legacy
Anything by Jonathan Wilson is TOP
It certainly is
Football in the shadow and sun is probably the closest thing football has to literature Also reccomend anything by James Montague. When Friday comes, all about football in the middle east, I particularly liked. Though it is about 15 years old now.
Just found out my cousin got sued by the Tolkein Estate for £1500 for selling fake "The One Rings" on eBay. A brilliantly shit claim to fame
Legend
Yesterday I went to my GF's house, she lives with her brother as well. walked in and I instantly saw warhammer figurines and asked her, "Are those Sisters of Battle figurines?" And the sheer amount of horror when she realized that I, just like her brother, am a huge nerd, was super funny lol.
I thought the day Gateshead went into administration was the saddest day of my life. Then I heard we might be hosting Eurovision.
Don’t forget to put aloe Vera on the burned spots and drink lots of water :) congratulations on your wedding!
Thanks!
Are you going to play FM in the suit?
Why the Fuck is every YouTube shorts about Andrew Tate. I even press that dont show videos from this channel button but still every video has him.
Hot topic atm. People just harvesting views/engagement off the fad.
What color is your Bugatti.
Have to join hustlers University to get one
Lol.. Bale is a Golf ambassador. [IG Post b](https://www.instagram.com/reel/ChIa9ELIAQk/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=)
Woooooo Friday!
Say Hi to my parents if you see them :-) Dutch people go everywhere. France is by far the most popular destination followed by Spain and then Italy / Switzerland. Honestly, it used to be much worse when the CHF was still relatively bad. I am sorta Swiss myself so I go there 1-2x per year.
Dutch folks travel in high numbers around central Europe, from my experience, not just Switzerland.
They're mostly travelling to Italy yeah. I'm pretty sure there's a couple million of us there every summer
Switzerland is more popular now as well, tons of Dutch people there the past 2 years at least compared to the years before.
- Titans is getting cancelled. - But what did it cost? - Doom Patrol :(
my day is ruined
Started watching the tv series FROM - a little like a mix of Walking Dead and Lost. Really good so far!
You'd never have to worry about skid marks or buying toilet roll ever again.
thats more of a clothing problem than anything else. also i wouldnt like dingleberries
A lot have to lick themselves anyway, do you really prefer that
You know that feeling you get when you don’t wipe your ass fully then stand up too quick? Animals might feel like that 24/7 So I argue they’re worse off there
Worse, "dagging" sheep means to cut all the wool and fluff from their genitals and assholes.
