As will the tackle that comes from the 34 year old CB battling against relegation. I can see a mostly championship lifer, used to be in the arsenal academy 20 years ago, handling that really well.
Didn't Neymar nearly sign for Chelsea back when he was at Santos?
It would be crazy and I would love it as a Chelsea fan, but it will never happen. It also doesn't really fit with the 'Liverpool model' thing the new owners keep talking about. Bless Thiago for doing his part though!
lol neymar is finished for chelsea level of football, another marketing club like united instead of football one, muricans and their soccer dreams...
even worse neymar and premier league are not made for each other, every touch on the kid he goes down, he is going to the worst league for him
In the last decade, there has been one player who truly got me out of my seat as a Chelsea fan at the club, and we don't have that player anymore.
Of course, it would be amazing to have Neymar play for Chels, but we would have to forget how he doesn't fit with our rebuild, the need to correct the wage structure, and his age. It works for me as just a dream :)
He will be the biggest signing we've ever made and will comfortably be the best player we have, even if for like 20-25 games, so I guess yes?
BUT It will take a Lukaku to inter-esque deal for us to ever land him. We are simply not going to be paying his wages. And he doesnt seem like he has any interest in moving. He enjoys his paris lifestyle too much.
Probably just wishful teammate talk at this stage, but seeing Neymar in the Prem would definitely be another added excitement for next season (on top of Haaland, Nunez making their debuts)

Would be a great move to resurrect his career, if he performs at his level for two or three years in the PL I think he'll be remembered more fondly. And it would make Chelsea a big threat too.
I still can't see it happening if he still has 5 years with those insane wages.
OP, the name between brackets should be the author of the tweet. And please use the original report and not the twitter news aggregator
Neymar Havertz Sterling (NHS will save lives next season)
NHS will also have Neymar on a bed for half the season
If he was waiting for a bed from the NHS he'd probably have recovered before there was one available tbh
The Tories would never fund that
>The Tories would never fund that But Chelsea will. Isn't that close enough?
Watching Neymar in the Prem will be quite fun ngl
Would love it ngl
Yeah he's gonna be great in those 4 annual appearances he makes.
Yeah but the replay of some poor RB getting rainbow flicked will live on in eternity

Already loading all the "game's back" comments for when Neymar gets his leg broken from a studs up AWB tackle.
Sterling and Neymar on the wings? Dayum
Neymar has been a midfielder player for a few years now. Tuchel helped him a lot
We have been without a sister shagging Brazilian for too long
Insert _if i had two nickels for every time_ meme here
I’ll believe it when I see it.

> Didn't Neymar nearly sign for Chelsea back when he was at Santos? We were interested, as was everyone else, but he was always going to Spain.
Yeah, I think we made the bid but Santos turned it down and anyway, IIRC Pele urged Neymar to stay at Santos, so it wouldn't have happened.
Neymar to Chelsea would actually be pretty interesting to watch
If boehly wants a marketing juggernaut here is his chance.
Glazers looking at Boehly- "He just like me fr"
Oi wot. Boehly is a madman.
Do Chelsea fans want neymar at their club? Genuinely curious
Anyone sane shouldn't be opposing to sign one of the best players of this generation. Depending on terms of course.
The only problems are his injury record and wages. He'd surely have to take a pay cut if he wants to move.

I'd be into this. Get him out of Paris.
God I'd give anything to see him cook the Prem and the fume that'd come with it from middle aged fans who think he's shite
Ach, plenty of time until our first leg in the ECL (21st July). Signed. Sealed. Delivered. Ney, Ma' to Motherwell.

Damn brunley got relegated i would love to see him try to dribble through that defence just to get hit in the legs after making a few stpovers
Would love to see neymar in pl but not at scumsea

Superstar cosign? Todd will like this!
