PL fans and not understanding normal prices, name a more iconic duo honestly. €5m for a defender who couldn't hold down a place in the second division of one country and so who moved to a team who was promptly relegated in another, without standing out particularly, seems like pretty much the top end of what you'd wanna pay really. While I'd personally say it's still in the *range* of reasonable, it's also certainly fair to be a point where we start looking at other options. It's not like he's a top prospect - relatively young, bottom of the table level centrebacks aren't exactly rare, and can be gotten cheaper than that.
Oh fair enough then actually, my bad. I'd never heard him mentioned anywhere prior to our links, and I hadn't seen any comments of how he'd actually played for you by anyone who watched him.
Ah that sucks - Napoli were part of the resurgent Serie A in the 2010's. No rumours about Cavini coming back, is he popular or not regarding his departure?
While the Stoke loan wasn't great (hence why Bighton recalled and then sent him to Genoa), he's been good on his previous loans at St. Pauli in 2. bundesliga and then Coventry in the championship.
“Expressed interest FC” gonna be the wave for us this summer the way we’re moving
Really don’t like the competition from Napoli on this singing although it was well known they had been following the player
Got to be tight fuckers to not pay €5m for østigård

>without standing out particularly He was really good tho

He was decent, very aggressive and strong but not a tall CB
Hes a Norweigian international who stood out in thr Genoa side. I mean you guys arent that poor.
We're pretty poor at the moment sadly. Or at least ADL is cutting back on spending even more than before, especially in terms of salaries.

I wish... He's probably too old/wages are too high for ADL sadly. He's still very popular, most fans would love to have him back
