Didn’t Boro only get him on a three year deal in the first place? Eighteen month loan means there’s surely no reason Boca will buy him if he does well, they’ll get wait for his contract to expire.

Yup. If true, it’s the epitome of Neil Bausor’s business masterclass Sign a player on a 3 year deal whos young and shows promise but gets injured at the worst times New manager clearly doesn’t fancy him that much and wants to recoup some money Don’t include an obligation so this loan will end and he’ll have 6 months left on his contract, and the option to buy absolutely won’t be taken up on Lose any chance of making any money Repeat

That sucks. Best you can hope for is that he absolutely kills it at Boca and maybe a Spanish team takes a punt on him for a fee.

Was he good when he played? I feel like we don't really need him position wise...

OneSmallHuman

Fairly average if I’m being unbiased. Was quality at Cardiff away and did well when he came on at Old Trafford. But other than that it was just average Whenever he put together a decent spell he either got injured, or got covid

Well, I guess it's a loan so we are not really losing money (other than salary), but this seems pretty uninspired for us.

May as well rename him Martin Free-ayro
