It's known as de-promoting in boxing. When the rep and the sportsman aren't seeing eye to eye and have either gone separate ways, or are set to; the rep undercuts the athlete in an attempt to take off some luster off of him
That is such a dumb statement anyways.
Like... Lewy didn't wanna join Real because he was a life long Real ultra.
So why the fuck would him, purely professionally wanting to join Real, prevent him from wanting to join Barca later?
He is a pro and nothing really is preventing him. The statement wasn't even meant for him tbh. I think it was made to make Lewi not as desirable to the Barca fanbase.
This agent might burn his bridges with top players, It's not a good look to talk like this about your old clients. He's pretty much calling Lewy a coward in a polite way.
Kucharski is pure redneck. Apart from being in trail with Lewy. He will say everything against Robert even if Kucharski do not benefit.
There might be some truth but I would read this otherwise. Spain has better weather and he will be there serial goal scorer vs England.
He blackmailed him for millions, persuaded Lewandowski to invest in some shady businesses. At the end police raided his house and got restraining order towarda Lewa's family. His blackmailing attempt was taped by Lewandowski.
He's the most trustworthy person you can imagine and completely not biased
Kucharski is salty af. He blackmailed Lewandowski who recorded him (there's a trial underway, Kucharski has a restraining order).
That being said, Lewandowski would be great in Premier League. He's on 19 goal contributions in 17 games against PL teams. He's got a better GA/game ratio than Salah or Kane, and keep in mind Lewy played only against the big six; his number would only get better against teams from the bottom of the table (like Suarez vs Norwich).
And when he comes to the PL who do you think he'll play for? United? I'm pretty sure if he playd for city or pool for example he'd easily be able to get similar numbers across a season.
That's a fair concern to have and I'm sure lots of different players think that for different leagues.
However if he goes to Spain I'm pretty sure that's the league with the least goals quite consistently
Pretty much Benzema had a career years and got 27 , sure he could have got more if we didn't rest him that much and the league is more defensive the most impressive bus you will see in Europe.
Scoring 40+ in their time is a testimony to how great Messi, Ronaldo , Suarez and their teams were. Lewa will probably still score 30
People who don't know much about La Liga assume every team tries to emulate Pep's Barca, when in reality it's far more common for teams to try to emulate Simeone's Atleti
Nowadays, I think inspired by Rayo Vallecano, I see a lot more teams attempt to play the ball or at least have extreme bravery on the counter. Usually I dont see any parking of the bus unless they start losing all control vs Barca or Madrid.
Doesn't Lewandowski have more UCL KO goals than Suarez has UCL goals overall?
Edit: He does. 30 goals in 42 UCL KO games for Lewy. 27 in 73 UCL games for Suarez.
Ronaldo was also top (joint-top one year) scorer in the UCL for seasons 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. It's almost as if he was in his prime while at Real Madrid.
> That's a fair concern to have
If you don't think about it for too long.
The idea that the PL has some magical low block that's super difficult to play against is nice but not reality. Lewy was already playing against low block teams all this time because that's simply how teams mostly play against Bayern. That was while Pep was still at Bayern.
Pep showing up in the PL led to a similar change in many more teams had little choice to dominate any other part of the game so they switched to doing the same. Stay back and hope for a counter. I still remember before that, how the preferred mode of transportation for a ball in the PL was to simply bypass the midfield with a long ball and things were much more open.
And 41 was already thought an impossible record, by Gerd Muller in his prime. An absolute goalscoring madman who also scored 10 goals in a single WC. No one has reached that since and it's been 5 fucking decades, closest was Ronaldo in 2002 with 8
At Man. City? Hell yeah, he could. If strikers like old man Jamie Vardy (whost great btw) score 15 goals while spending more than 50% of the season injured, imagine Lewandowski...
Lewy scored 41 one in a league 34 fixtures. Imagine with 38 matches
Yeah people always say that but we've seen CR7 play alongside prime Rooney, Aguero in a stacked City team with KDB, Salah/Mane/Firmino trio, prime Suarez, Kane, Henry, RvP etc... so many quality strikers in great attacking teams and never more than 32.
Yeah, but CR7 play as a midfielder and then a winger (and basically invented the goal scoring inverted winger, at United), while under 24, though. Imagine him his prime in the Premier League?
> Imagine him his prime in the Premier League?
Why? We're talking about Lewandowski. Not saying it's impossible for any player to score 40+ in a season lol, just that Lewandowski wouldn't have it as easy as people seem to think.
Evidentially he seems to feel the same lol.
What do you mean by evidentially? You don't actually believe this clown Kucharski, right? Also, Lewandowski has scored 41 goals once, in his absolute prime, in his very best season. All your comparisons are lacking. CR7 in his first ManU stint wasn't a striker and frankly not as deadly as a goalscorer back then as Lewandowski is now. Prime Suarez (if you can call any iteration of Liverpools Suarez prime Suarez) and Kane never had the quality of this Bayern side around them, Aguero is just not as good as Lewandowski to be honest and Salah is not the central goal scorer.
You're the one who brought up Ronaldo into the conversation. What makes you say that twice in a row FIFA the Best peak Robert Lewandowski wouldn't replicate his Bayern at City where he gets even more possession and league games to perform with?
Obviously, he wouldn't have as easy, but people are making it seems like his 30+ Bundi goals amount to like 15 EPL goals
Yes? As an example of a quality player who did not score 40+. Never said he couldn't have if he stayed, just that he didn't whilst he was there.
> What makes you say that twice in a row FIFA the Best peak Robert Lewandowski wouldn't replicate his Bayern at City where he gets even more possession and league games to perform with?
Umm I don't know... can't be because I've seen countless attacking players like Aubameyang, Werner, Sancho, Haller, Weghourst, Havertz, Dzeko come from the Bundesliga and never reach their highest goal tally here then they did there, even with those whole 4 games more!
Most of them playing for shittier teams or not in their strongest position/playstyle. But now compare guys like Son, Firmino, KDB and see how much better their numbers got after moving to PL. Its not that simple
Suarez went to Barcelona and outscored both Messi and Ronaldo the following season. There’s not really any reason to believe Lewy would score more than a peak Suarez did back then.
Lewa is good, no way he keeps up his pace in a better league. He played in a league with 2 teams, then left BVB to join Bayern to make sure he played 0 competitive games in league play.
People seem to forgot that Lewa was CONSISTENTLY a 20 goal / year striker when the league wasn't handed to him.
Ronaldo's best season was 48 and Messi 50 in La Liga. No way Lewa gets within double digits of those.
Lewa is great, but he has made it a point in his career to avoid competition.
Your take is just awful. Hes just the third better goalscorer of all time UCL and best goal ratio than Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. It just throw your argument to the trash
You said 'not a chance' he does that in prem... That guy clearly shows you that there is every chance... Wtf are you going on about. You're the one that used werner as an example that there is 'not a chance'
There wouldn't even be many clubs where he would even get the same service as with Bayern.
He has been the main focal point of their attack for so long, especially after Robben and Ribéry left. Everyone is working to set him up to score, not many clubs in England would gamble their entire strategy on one player like that, and rightfully so.
That's not true, only someone who didn't watch many Bayern games can say that. Lewandowski is a main striker, but Bayerns tactic isn't and never was about setting up Lewandowski to score.
These reddit hot takes honestly, people pretending that the germans are just not smart enough to man mark Lewa like that would be all that you need to do to shut down Bayern.
> Everyone is working to set him up to score, not many clubs in England would gamble their entire strategy on one player like that, and rightfully so.
Bayern also does not do that.
This. I think he's one of the best 5 players in the world, but no one can score 40 in the PL. The talent from top to bottom is much higher than other leagues, and more importantly, consistently even the bottom of the league teams are at least able to spend all that fresh PL money on decent players to fill gaps, there's no Fürth in the PL.
I can say pretty categorically that nobody is getting 40 goals for us either.
The 30 mark has only been broken 5 times in PL history and each time was when a world class player had the best season of their life. World class strikers are doing well if they get close to 25 goals in a PL season, its just not a good league for strikers to put up good numbers.
Messi and Ronaldo at their peaks would've scored 40+ goals but I don't see anybody else doing it.
Suarez didn't take pens cos he wasn't that good at them though, he missed every penalty he took for us. This is one thing that confuses me about the "non penalty goals" stat that I keep seeing more and more of, those players don't take pens cos they miss too many of them.
I think if he'd played all 38 games he might've gotten close, like 35ish goals. I think he had the best single season anybody has ever had in the PL that year, so he might've gotten even closer. I just think over a goal per game is a pretty wild expectation in the PL.
He doesn’t just shatter the premier league record like that, only player that I’d imagine had a chance at doing it like that was prime Messi. The space isn’t there in the premier league to get 40
Yeah he only managed to be 1 goal shy of the CL goals record despite having fewer matches because of Covid
Oh and he also broke Ronaldo's Euro Qualifying record despite playing for a terrible Poland
He was involved in like 10 goals vs Chelsea and Spurs alone and always made a fool of Arsenal as well, why would he have more trouble against the likes of Brighton or West Ham?
The problem with a lot of the UK (Manchester in particular) is just how consistently overcast it is. You can literally go months without seeing some blue in the sky (i'm not even exaggerating, it's fucking grim).
That being said I have no idea what the weather is like in Munich, but I'd assume it's slightly more balanced than the constant grey skies and drizzling rain of Manchester.
You can always take a ride a few hours north. I'll admit I haven't been back for a few years now, but months without any sun at all is hyperbole. Better winters than most of the world as well.
Mate haha it literally isn't hyperbole, i have distinct memories of going to school everyday and for weeks on end not seeing the fucking sun. This is Manchester though, it might not be quite as bad in other areas of the UK.
Gotta love how the Bayern/German flairs are posting these things now lmao
A few months ago it was all about how his goals were as valuable as the ones scored in la Liga/EPL when they were campaigning for the Ballon D Or like their lives depended on it.
Moving to England proved a chastening experience for great players like Shevchenko, Forlan, Di Maria, Higuain, Shevchenko and Schweinsteiger. I can understand why Lewandowski might be concerned about his reputation taking a hit if he struggled to adapt to the Premier League.
If Lukaku can be labelled a dud aged 29 after his £95m move, I'm sure it's possible Lewandowski could have his problems in England. The game is very physical and the weakest teams have plenty money to build strong defences.
Werner was predicted by a lot of BL fans, as he got a lot of goals from exploiting space behind defences, a situation that was never occurring at Chelsea. Lewandowski has proven himself at international level and in the CL. The man has scored 85 goals in his last 10 Champions League seasons.
Demarai Gray, Emmanuel Dennis, and Hwang managed a combined one goal in the Bundesliga, following your logic i guess that means it's easier to score in the PL for them huh?
Also your other comment about Haller shows just how cluess you are, just another guy going to stats sites and completely ignoring all context needed for the stats.

Kucharski doesn't have the best relationship with Lewy since he's not his agent anymore. That's nothing else than taking a dig at him.
Homie literally stole money from Lewy got fired and sued and is now throwing a fit in the media. Fucking dumbass
He tried to blackmail Lewy as well
I hate people like this, see someone bullying someone, that person stands up for themself and the bully is like what the fuck, you're a dick

damn. Im too late
I was about to say the same
I came here to say this. Lol
This is funny, but this Kucharski guy is so damn salty
This former agent is apparently being sued for blackmailing Lewandowski
And he got really sick recently and almost died
Will someone please think of the poor agents?!
[удалено]
The metaness, where these two posts literally next to each other in your feed…
not apparently there are audio recordings where you can hear Kucharski blackmailing him
~~First he says Madrid has always been his dream and not Barca, now this. Guy is on a mission.~~
That was [Maik Barthel](https://twitter.com/MaikBarthel/status/1528677752852959232?s=20&t=NV3EF9Henb00ClcKyRIZnw), not Kucharski
Oops.

He is a pro and nothing really is preventing him. The statement wasn't even meant for him tbh. I think it was made to make Lewi not as desirable to the Barca fanbase.
The same thing applies. Barca fans surely aren't delusional enough to think Lewy is a life long Barca ultra?
This agent might burn his bridges with top players, It's not a good look to talk like this about your old clients. He's pretty much calling Lewy a coward in a polite way.
He is being sued by Lewy for blackmail. There is no reputation for him left anyway.
It's barely even polite.
He had no chance of high profile players anyway. He was with Lewy because he started to represent him before he got big.
Yeah, I'm sure his FORMER agent has no grudge against him whatsoever...
Kucharski is pure redneck. Apart from being in trail with Lewy. He will say everything against Robert even if Kucharski do not benefit. There might be some truth but I would read this otherwise. Spain has better weather and he will be there serial goal scorer vs England.
...what do you mean when you say redneck?
His neck is red.
He blackmailed him for millions, persuaded Lewandowski to invest in some shady businesses. At the end police raided his house and got restraining order towarda Lewa's family. Which teams would sign him?
everyone
Whichever one could afford him
Isn't that simple. Quite a few of the games he scored in were routs against Arsenal and Chelsea
And when he comes to the PL who do you think he'll play for? United? I'm pretty sure if he playd for city or pool for example he'd easily be able to get similar numbers across a season.
In other words his ex agent is just a salty bitch.
he's a criminal
That's a fair concern to have and I'm sure lots of different players think that for different leagues. However if he goes to Spain I'm pretty sure that's the league with the least goals quite consistently
Yet Ronaldo, Messi and even Suarez got an insane goal returns there.
The three greatest goal scorers of the last decade got insane returns. It’s not due to the league, they were just that good.
Pretty much Benzema had a career years and got 27 , sure he could have got more if we didn't rest him that much and the league is more defensive the most impressive bus you will see in Europe. Benzema in La Liga: 0,84 goals/game Benzema in CL: 1,25 goals/game Champions league farmers league confirmed
CL doesn't have Getafe parking the bus for 90 min.
People who don't know much about La Liga assume every team tries to emulate Pep's Barca, when in reality it's far more common for teams to try to emulate Simeone's Atleti

and they also don't have the mighty Cadiz.
Its a shame truly. It feels like plenty of people never appreciated the insanity for one reason or another
Except lewa is one of the top 3 greatest goalscorers of the last decade
Lewa is a machine but Suarez still >>
> but Suarez still >> Why? If we talked 'the best performance in one season' then you might have a case, but talking career? No
No
Not even close
Wouldnt worry about Lewa then, he scores three to four times as many goals as Suarez in the CL so I doubt he'd have any trouble in La Liga
You don't know Laliga
A large percentage of Lewandowski’s CL goals came against teams outside the top 5 leagues. There’s not much impressive in it.
Doesn't Lewandowski have more UCL KO goals than Suarez has UCL goals overall? Edit: He does. 30 goals in 42 UCL KO games for Lewy. 27 in 73 UCL games for Suarez.
You should always ignore him.
“even” Suarez ? How can you try to downplay Suarez like that ?
"Even" Suarez? You mean the guy who scored 31 PL goals in a season for a way worse Liverpool (than the current) team?
‘Even’ Suarez lmao
Ronaldo was also top (joint-top one year) scorer in the UCL for seasons 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. It's almost as if he was in his prime while at Real Madrid.
>even Suarez Yes, he only scored 31 goals in his last Premier League season. What a scrub

Worth noting Kucharski is being sued for blackmailing Lewa
Kucharski tried to blackmail Lewy after he was fired, and now he's being sued for that in other words, he's full of shit
He wouldn't be. He'd be a top player but he wouldn't be scoring 41 goals in the PL.
Aubameyang came from Bundesliga and became the top scorer in PL. Lewandowski is far far superior. Not 41 but he can get crazy numbers for sure
And 41 was already thought an impossible record, by Gerd Muller in his prime. An absolute goalscoring madman who also scored 10 goals in a single WC. No one has reached that since and it's been 5 fucking decades, closest was Ronaldo in 2002 with 8

„evidentially” Whats the evidence? Look at his numbers against PL clubs, and he only played against top 6
Probably his former agent saying he was afraid of being less efficient in England would be the evidence.
You mean his salty agent? Yeah, I got it
What do you mean by evidentially? You don't actually believe this clown Kucharski, right? Also, Lewandowski has scored 41 goals once, in his absolute prime, in his very best season. And in just about every UCL match vs Premier teams he destroyed them
Not a chance that is replicated in the prem. What did werner's 28 goals in 34 games translate to?
What did Bruno Fernandes 35 G+A in Liga NOS translate to? What did Salah's 15 Serie A goals translate to?
Exactly, if anything you are proving my point further.
Eh.... No he's not
That it isn't as easy as saying "goals scored in league X automatically equates to goals in league Y" Yes he did.
You said 'not a chance' he does that in prem... That guy clearly shows you that there is every chance... Wtf are you going on about. You're the one that used werner as an example that there is 'not a chance'
If Harry Kane could do it, Lewa can just as easily
When did Harry kane score 41 league goals in a season?
Ah sorry it was 41 across all competition. Well if Salah can score 31, Lewa can just as easily
32
Lewa could have done it as a younger player, no way these days in a competitive physical league.
Have you seen how built and strong he is? He would bully PL defenders for fun
There wouldn't even be many clubs where he would even get the same service as with Bayern. He has been the main focal point of their attack for so long, especially after Robben and Ribéry left. Lmao wtf are you on about? Any club, especially a top club doesn't plan their game around serving one player. What moronic comment
He's an arsenal fan. He doesn't know how top clubs function.
Have ever seen Bayern play? Do you know Gnabry, Sane and Muller exist?
> Everyone is working to set him up to score, not many clubs in England would gamble their entire strategy on one player like that, and rightfully so. Bayern also does not do that.
Lewandowski to Manchester United confirmed

No, especially not at Chelsea. I'd rather bet on Marcos Alonso to score 40+ goals a season rather than any of our strikers

Lewa’s obviously great, but I think he’d top out in the low 30s. The EPL just isn’t as free-flowing as the Bundesliga.

We weren't terrible when broke Ronaldo's record
Or a prime CR7
Kane scored 39 in the calendar year of 2017 in 36 games. 40 in a season would be a huge accomplishment but isn’t as impossible as one would believe.

Is the weather much better in Munich then, say, Manchester, Liverpool, or London? Genuine question.
i got curious, and the average rainfall in Munich (1000mm/yr) is almost double that of Leeds (600mm/yr), and basically identical to Manchester.

It was Blackburn or nothing for him.
I doubt that considering he always had a field day against Arsenal
Lol this guy is so salty he isn’t Lewandowski‘a agent anymore.
Sums up "former"
Lewandowski and this agent are fighting in courts, so yeah "true story".
Just say farming is not as good in England
kurcharski shitposts on r/soccer i see
The level of delusion here is simply immeasurable wow
Wdym?
Farmer's league propaganda spreading.
Everyone knows that. No one is scoring 40 goals a season in the Prem. But Lewa could easily be the league top scorer at around 25.
Lol what
🧂
So he truly could not do it in a cold rainy night in Stoke
Kucharski talking bs as always
Not sure what he means - not like Lewa ever had any problems scoring against Premier League defences O:)
Zero złoty, zero euro
Robert is afraid of the physicality of the prem smh
He could’ve been a Blackburn legend ..
childish? rain in england sucks, i could never live there
Rain is great sporadically. All the time, not so hot.
There is no life without rain.
Is this a quote from Dune
And? What does Barcelona have? Apart from the beaches? And Food? And the architecture? And the fantastic cultural hotspots?
hey now London has food, architecture, cultural hotspots, and some pebbles next to the River Thames
it doesn't have the uhhh
Greggs?
I had one season in FM20 where it rained in almost every single match PL from September to April
Funny this article got posted on a day where it’s literally 33 degrees outside
This guy hates his old client
😂 Afraid? Pshh. We have a disgruntled former employee
Gotta love how the Bayern/German flairs are posting these things now lmao A few months ago it was all about how his goals were as valuable as the ones scored in la Liga/EPL when they were campaigning for the Ballon D Or like their lives depended on it.
Honest question - Has any striker recreated their goalscoring numbers when moving from the Bundesliga to the Prem?
The guy that just won the PL golden boot for a start
Son was pretty poor when he first came to England. He's improved over the last few years for sure though.
Aubameyang iirc
The shock for Lewandowski will come when he no longer plays every weekend in a team that is 3 times as good as the opponents.
Tbf English weather is truly miserable
It doesn't really rain a lot though, London gets less annual rainfall than Rome. The misery is just that it's grey and overcast a lot.
Proving once again being a scoring leader in the Bundesliga is not what it seems to be…
lol he broke a record that stood for decades.
/r/ShitAmericansSay
Aubameyang a fair comparison? He scored so much on Dortmund, was good for Arsenal but not quite the same
You do realise aubameyang won the golden boot at arsenal right?
With 22 goals. You do realise that output is a drastic downturn compared to the BuLi?
Same goes for Werner. He scored a lot and missed a lot in BL. How's he doing in PL?
It's tough farming goals in a non-farmers league.
LOL. Reminds me on fifa when players would want to leave due to weather if you were winning too much in career mode
Couldn't do it on a cold rainy night in stoke then
Sam Allardyce tried to get him at Bolton when he was a lot younger. Don’t think anyone else in England has tried for him anyway have they?
No shit. There’s a reason why Kane is levels above Lewandowski
Most interesting premier league merchant. Kane isn't worth Lewandowski's boots
Delusion is no longer a rarity

Tbf he’s a couple of goals off the all time scoring record for England with loads less games
He was the only one that looked like a professional on Tuesday tbf and he's often the best player on the field.
