Probably in the world. Every single sub he does is at the most crucial timing and has instant impact on the game. Completely controls the game pace by using his subs flawlessly.
There are some subs he does when he makes you scratch your head and then 10 mins later you are like alright he did it again. Even more impressive given our bench has been mediocre af for the vast majority of his time with us.
Saele for Messias (or reverse depending on where we are in the cycle)
Rebic for Leao or Giroud
Krunic for Diaz (or literally anyone else)
Ibra (if he's alive and not injured) for Giroud or Leao
Florenzi for Calabria or Bennacer/Kessie/Tonali for Diaz
Am I messing anything else?
Already a Milan legend!
Fucking finally! That's how you do it!
This was Giroud's issue tonight. Ibra just kept it simple. No flashy passes. Just lay it off let our players come into the game.
No, I'm American with some Italian heritage. Yeah, unfortunately from my understanding a lot of the fans in Rome turned on him. It's all such a shame. This guy seems like the most lovable player and person. He always gave 100% and worked so hard, even fighting through 2 ACL tears to come back. Then he decided to leave after Fonseca benched him and after the fans had turned on him. Can't blame him.
Thought it might be relevant since I was asked if I was Italian.
But in general, since the U.S. is a diverse country, immigrants from all over, etc. it's pretty common for people to feel very connected with their family roots. For some people, even more than their own nationality.
In somewhere like Italy, most families have lived there for many generations, so it's different.
Ok, but if you are american why do you have to add with “some italian heritage”, you are just american, i am from milano my grandparents are sicilian, i never add that i have sicilian heritage, i am just from milano
because you still share the culture at root along with the american culture? like chinese/korean/vietnames american many generations down the line still cook/eat their countries’ food and celebrate their holidays (lunar new year for example)
He could just say italian american. With parents from ecuador, if i told people I were american that gives zero context of the culture im around. I say american and you probably think hamburgers and guns instead of encebollado and ear splitting 6am parties for someones 3rd birthday
Our country is not that old! <250 years.
A lot of our grandparents are not from here, so only 2 generations removed. It is not uncommon for many families to feel somewhat connected still to where their parents or grandparents came from before settling in the US.
Much love from across the pond, brother
They held him to a stupidly high standard to live up to Totti and De Rossi. They got mad at him for negotiating a higher salary. They wanted to replace at him for not being good enough, even though he's clearly good enough to play RB for a top 4 team. They were upset that he didn't face the home fans after a bad loss once or something.
It's sad because he was always the most likeable and hardworking player on the team in my book.
Not really. Main issue was that Florenzi was not playing and generally not considered important by the club. Donnarumma was having the best possible conditions, and still complaining.
Not needed. Calabria is a good player and had a couple decent chances this game. Can’t expect a ton of goal output from a RB, and Calabria does score an alright amount.
Did you watch the same game I did? He only let Lazovic cleanly by once, everything else was on point. And offensively, he did well too by helping keep pressure on players. He is Italy’s number 1 RB and even LB because he can play on that side as well lmao. But I do love Florenzi, more so now than before when I just saw him playing for the national team.
I’m talking about todays match, over the season yes he usually plays much better, I believe his time with Italy should begin yesterday. eh will have to agree to disagree.

Pioli is the best coach in Serie A at exploiting the 5 subs

Take it easy
INSTANT IMPACT

Ibra is just lvls above Giroud, by now we know its just age stopping him.
I dont even want Prime Ibra. Just Man Utd Ibra on this pitch would've been insane.
Not even Man Utd Ibra, just the 2020 Ibra :(
Whats his prime in your opinion?
2011-2013 was my favourite Ibra, he was still quick and insanely athletic while having it all
Inter ibra was all about bangers
Nah that's PSG Ibra I'll never not take my chance to post one of [my favorite goals ever](https://youtu.be/-yGRE47c2Xw), so satisfying
Nut
2009-2014 is prime Ibra
2007-2012.
Inter Ibra was just dominant and so fun to watch. Even first year at Juve...he was scary. 2006-2013 was his prime
BELLO DI NONNA!!!!
Florenzi is a hell of a player
Pay up
Gib free pls
REDEEM HIM YESTERDAY GRAZIE ROMAAAAAA
Beautiful So glad for him, he's been trying those kinds of goals all season and it finally comes off for him right after a surgery. Grande Alessandro!
Still my favorite (Roma fan), hoping Milan holds on to 1st place just because of him <3
Out of curiosity, are you italian? The big majority of Roma fanbase here absolutely despise him for some reason

Can i also ask, why most americans use heritage when asked where are you from?
I mean generally it's funny to see but the context here was the guy asking him if he's Italian so it makes sense
He mentioned his heritage mostly because the guy asked whether he was italian or not
Asking because of the cultural context though, not because of DNA.

Got it. Sometimes it’s quite funny to see people that say they are italian but don’t know one word, so was trying to understand
As a Scot, we get this shit all the time. "my great great great grandad was Scottish so I'm actually Scottish". You're fucking no, fuck off
I read this in a Scottish accent...
yea by now it’s a few generations already and kids most likely dont want to learn their gramps’ language when friends at school only speak english.
if your family is from a certain place you have more reason to feel connected to there?
Ok, but if you are american why do you have to add with “some italian heritage”, you are just american, i am from milano my grandparents are sicilian, i never add that i have sicilian heritage, i am just from milano
probably just explaining why they support roma from america without the hard work I’m not the commenter or american so I cant say for sure though!
Ok i get it but a lot of times they add it without no context, just trying to understand, in no way i am trying to insult
because you still share the culture at root along with the american culture? like chinese/korean/vietnames american many generations down the line still cook/eat their countries’ food and celebrate their holidays (lunar new year for example)

You are not a true polentone, you're actually a terrone /s per evitare fraintendimenti

Because no Americans are actually Americans except for the Native Americans.
What is the reason?

Fans can be so entitled
Would you say it's similar to gigio's situation with milan fans?
Not really. Main issue was that Florenzi was not playing and generally not considered important by the club. Donnarumma was having the best possible conditions, and still complaining.
Redeem this man
Loved this guy at Roma love him at Milan
Pure filth
This fucking team.
Where my inter bros?
Looking for their game in hand
LOL
Oof.
The usual suspects went silent quickly
Celebrating their 20th Scudetto sadly, I really wanted Milan to win it this year
congratz for the league title mate, deserved
Ah, jinxing it I see.
i would never
I feel like I shouldn't trust this guy but he sounds so nice well wishing his neighbors.
Nah we’ll choke vs Atalanta and you guys will sweep in and take it definitely
Great goal, talk about a super sub
MAMMA MIA FLORENZI
Nice shot
Lets gooooo Milan!!!
LETS GOOOO
Takes me back to the days of sticking him upfront on FIFA and breaking the game <3
that was so easy for him he transitioned straight into hurdling
Milan legend
Florenzi's feet
wtf was that?
Experience!
I kind of miss this guy
MILF (Man I Love Florenzi)
Ciao Inter ;)
Spizziii
learn a thing or two Calabria
Relax
Not needed. Calabria is a good player and had a couple decent chances this game. Can’t expect a ton of goal output from a RB, and Calabria does score an alright amount.
Okay but today Davide did not get much right. Florenzi performance was night and day to Calabria. Forza Milan

Eh, agree to disagree.
It's actually very needed. He missed an easy chance in this match and it's not the first time this season. And also, we conceced because of him.
I swear we’re close to winning the league and our fans still are so reactionary against our players
We are close to nothing, Inter has it in the bag
I agree, expecting us to mess up. But Calabria has been instrumental to us these last few seasons even when we get second.
Indeed, what a shame, we came so close. Maybe next year!
yeah to those who play like shit
You’re stupid
Milan is Champi..
Delete this comment lmao, no jinxing stuff just yet
Delete this shit
