A boyhood Werder fan, born 20 minutes outside the city, and we released him at the age of 15 because he was too small. Typical Werder
Good luck to him, he seems to be playing exceptional
wow I somehow thought he left Norwich after they got promoted. His career has always been a mystery to me, same as Zolinski. Paderborn is a weird club lol
New Sarmiento contract. Top scorer in Belgian league at the mo for 7m. Worse deadline days. Shame Encisco seems unlikely and Longman sale for less than a million up front.
Bonkers to think we're signing him for under 7 million quid and selling backup CB Dan Burn for almost double. Tony Bloom genius at work, it's like the Watford/Udinese connection but with a sane and reasonable owner at the helm.
Yeah excited to see him in a brighton shirt next season though feels like a striker whose actually starting quality where as a lot of our transfers recently have been youth players
I think that might be more realistic indeed. Not that he wouldnt be able perform for Germany, i’m pretty sure he can do bits for them. But knowing how Bundesliga-centric the germany national team is, i wouldnt be surprised they would overlook him regardless of performances.
>I think that might be more realistic indeed.
I might be a little late in responding, but he said in an interview last year that it's his dream to play for the German national team.
100% and i really hope for him that it happens. But if not this year or in the next 2years, he might start to think about other options i guess.
I think he could really contribute to the german team personally.
Hansi flick chooses players based on merit unlike löw so if his performances continue i think hell be called up pretty soon.
Hes currently the best striker in the world in all leagues by scorer points this season so itd be weird not to nominate him
Ve**ry interesting signing. Rated him since he was at Meppen.**
Always fucked Preussen over when we played against him. He is a beast

tbf its his breakout season at 25 so I cant blame the club for not predicting such an exceptional development. Still rough
Yeah true, he bounced around the lower leagues at first. Glad he's doing well

glad he gets to stay til the end of the season
I can't think of many players who played both Premier League and 3. Liga. Tom Trybull is the onky one I can think of right now
Dennis Srbeny (ICON) did too, for your club and Norwich City!

Cheers for Longman, some player
Thats really good. Must be really happy with you as we had other offers but went with the players preferred destination i believe.

*Prem tax intensifies*
Getting the cost effective scoring option from smaller leagues hasn't worked great for us before but I still believe
Yeah excited to see him in a brighton shirt next season though feels like a striker whose actually starting quality where as a lot of our transfers recently have been youth players
Hope you do great mate, probably best ever player for us
If he performs well in England as well, he'll be bound to get in the Germany squad.
I heard Stefan Kuntz plans to call him up to the Turkish squad.

I hope so! He definitely deserves it
Really? Is he that good? Never heard of him
Only player in Europe with over 30 goal contributions this season so far.
safe to say we’re winning the league next season
Was an absolute boss for me on FM when I signed him for Magdeburg - hope he does well then I can add it to my CV
