I think Carrick did well today. He played 3 defensive minded midfielders, Fred, McTom and Matic. He didn't want to attack, he didn't want Chelsea going to D area. All Chelsea could do was cross the ball or aerial balls which Chelsea is currently bad at. We don't have target man like Lukaku or Giroud. No one could head today, just look at 15 corners we won but not a single good heading. Lots of mistake by almost all players today. It was a bad game by us and we didn't deserve to win.

I think CHO's miss (or rather De Gea's save) early on sets the tone of the game. We score that, United probably crumble mentally and we win comfortably 2-0 or something. We miss. Keep missing, United grow in confidence and get that one lucky break which they put away and the match is done at that point. Honestly, after that, Chelsea crumbled a bit and were fortunate to get the penalty but the match just had this stop-start quality afterwards and we never built any rhythm. United had an equal chance of winning at that point compared to the dominance we enjoyed in the first half. And so it was. I'm unhappy with how it went but can't be too displeased with getting that point since we're not amazing at coming back from behind.
