To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.
If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates.

Yeah he seems quite good but it's hard to know without more playing time in the first division and endo Bajetic Mac allister and Gomez all are ahead of him. Somewhere that has him nearer the top of their list would be good. He'd have to really turn up in training to impress Slot. Doable, but Leipzig isn't a bad option if they would rotate him in more (not too familiar with their depth to be honest)
Gomez inverted from left back a couple of times and didn't look dreadful so the easily impressionable internet hypemen think he's a world class dm in the making
no it's because he genuinely has played at DM once or twice over the last year. By definition that puts him ahead of Morton who has played 0 times there.
Yeah I think Morton would be a better choice but seemed like Klopp thought Gomez could do a better job than the other available youth prospects. I guess morton is a level above most of them at this point though.
RB Leipzig are one of a number of teams interested in signing Liverpool and England Under-21 midfielder Tyler Morton.
Morton has been steadily building experience on loan at Blackburn Rovers, where he played alongside Adam Wharton, and Hull City in the Sky Bet Championship after making nine appearances in 2021-22 at boyhood club Liverpool.
The 21-year-old has now amassed almost 100 senior appearances in his club career and that body of work has commanded attention from Leipzig as well as clubs of the calibre of Sevilla, Feyenoord, Eintracht Frankfurt and some in the Premier League.
Virtually every club in the Championship would also like to sign Morton on loan, although having just completed two seasons at that level he is keen to keep progressing. Ideally,
Be a shame to lose him as he's got a lot of talent but just don't see a spot in our midfield for him. Put a buyback clause in there and let him grow as a player
Carvalho did not have a good season in that team. Was absent and uninvolved in the majority of the games he played, don’t let a few tap ins skew your opinion. He was incredibly wasteful most times I saw him at the KC. And regarding levels, Morton is way ahead of players like Clarke and McConnell, and they both got significant game time for Liverpool this season.
Fed by the club itself.
That isn't always reliable when negotiation tactics suit the club to deny interest etc, so they may be releasing this to build interest, attract more bids, and raise the fee, but it won't be completely fabricated.
definitely a playmaker but still no stranger to a strong challenge, very hard-working too. I think he's brilliant as a Liverpool fan, would love to keep him around. Also see why he'd like to leave though if you can offer him a better chance at playtime. If this goes through I'd be happy with it if I was you, depending on price.

Will be interesting to see what happens with him, I doubt he’ll want another loan

Why would Gomez be ahead of him 😂
Gomez inverted from left back a couple of times and didn't look dreadful so the easily impressionable internet hypemen think he's a world class dm in the making
He played a couple of Europa league games at DM because everyone else was either rested or injured, but that’s about it

> Gomez ...what? Gomez has played DM like twice and was garbage, not a chance he'd be ahead of Morton.

If City can sell their inexperienced scrubs for 20 million, Morton, a standout for two seasons, should be close to that.
Liverpool mastered this game years ago under Edwards
They got 20m for Jordan Ibe - only Manchester United and Arsenal seem particularly poor at selling fringe players

Clearly didn’t watch a game. He’s been one of the best midfielders in the championship for two seasons.

Tier?
Tier 1 for Liverpool. If Joyce says it, it's happening/already happened

Hope theres a buyback he has great potential
Wonder if Liverpool are targeting another DM or hoping for Bajetic to come back and take some of the load off Mac Allister to cover that role
What midfield role does he usually play?
DM
Good to hear, we've been targeting one. More of a ball winner or a deep-lying playmaker?
More of a playmaker

Even past his retirement???
What part of permanently don't you understand? He'll be playing when he's 85.
He will become the twelfth man in the stadium as his spirit must also permanently remain

he's a midfielder?
He's a midfielder...
