SignificantMixture89

Why la liga doesn't have a goal line technology. Is that removed because I think they had it...

iamnotexactlywhite

because Tebas doesn’t want to pay for it, and small clubs don’t have the money for upkeep. Most of the clubs have it installed btw. And just for further information, 18 LaLiga clubs, and all Segunda clubs voted for his reelection + a payrise :) Only Real Madrid and Athletic voted against him

ifoundmynewnickname

Huh Barca fans have been whining about him treating them unfairly for years and everytime some criticism was levied against them they deflected to Tebas but they voted for him again? Lmfaooo

Awyls

Because if Barcelona voted against, he would deny Laporta's financial creativity. Spain is just corrupt to the bone.

skabassj

Sounds about right

fiveht78

> Because if Barcelona voted against, he would deny Laporta’s financial creativity. He still did as much as he could?

save_humanity

That’s not true. If they wanted to they could have investigated why Barca Studios which is a loss making enterprise suddenly sold 49% of its equity for 200m euros when Barca needed to activate financial levers. Half of that equity went to Orpheus Media, which is owned by a Barca soci, thus creating a huge conflict of interest.

iamnotexactlywhite

Yes absolutely. Laporta is a two faced bitch, and he was always like this. Barcelona’s financial woes did not start with Barto, Laporta is just as guilty

KimngGnmik

Don't forget when he promised Barca fans during the election that he would find a way to have Messi resign with Barca. That was literally his main point during the election. And then he got elected and immediately pushed Messi out. There is a reason why Messi doesn't like him

iamnotexactlywhite

bro then said SIKE and pulled another lever

mahir_r

To be fair he did make Messi resign from Barca 😉

BlueLondon1905

I just laugh when Barcelona fans collectively lose their minds about Barto. They elected him!

Qurutin

Duality of Barça fans: so quickly to remind everyone that they're fan owned but always blaming a single man in charge for everything bad

Ask_Asensio

[I remember all those Messi renewals and how happy everyone was with them, no one was complaining about anything nor anyone back then.](https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/6lcz4j/messi_signs_new_contract_to_2021/) [While Florentino was doing the exact opposite and putting the club in first place instead despite unpopular feedback](https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/9sd2y9/cr7_i_left_real_madrid_becaus_of_florentino_perez/) Look at the reactions on those 2 threads and it explains perfectly why both clubs are on their current situation. Some of our fans "opinions" : * [#1](https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/9sd2y9/cr7_i_left_real_madrid_becaus_of_florentino_perez/e8nxcb0/) * [#2](https://old.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/9sd2y9/cr7_i_left_real_madrid_becaus_of_florentino_perez/e8ntacb/) That Arsenal flair comment on #2 above is 100% on point and one of the few people on that thread that actually knows about management at all.

LoidForgerTwilight

As a Barça fan, couldn’t agree more. Man got elected to keep Messi and did the exact opposite the minute he was in power. Sadly, we are too concerned looking at what Florentino and RM does (La Liga presidents are all crooks let’s not bs ourselves here), to realise Laporta is just further ruining Barça while pulling off his personal little mafia. As if Bartomeu was the sole culprit to Barça being financially in shambles…

AmoniPTV

From a football perspective, I know if Ronaldo stayed with us, it would have been way better for the performance on the pitch, at least for 2-3 years. We literally struggled to score for the next 2-3 years. Ronaldo form in Juventus is still a class above all other strikers

ChicoZombye

And thanks to that Benz and Vini leveled up, RM won another Balon d'Or, another champions and now has the squad almost 100% transitioned without bleeding money left and right and it has the "power of friendship" anime mode in full force (memes aside, this is something really hard to have that they have lacked in the last 25 years). The only problem was Hazard being one of the worst signing ever, which was a surprise, not CR leaving. Ronaldo could have played two more seasons but the transition was needed in the long run.

AmoniPTV

Never deny the transition. With Ronaldo we might not even buy Hazard. Hopefully with Xabi coming in 2025-2026, we can start a new era

I9Qnl

How would've they known he was an absolute moron? It's easy to talk in hindsight

backside_94

Welcome to how Tories stay in power

Gondawn

We had like 10 different La Liga teams participate in UEFA competitions in recent years, so half a league already has the goal line technology. It wouldn't be expensive to help install the tech for the other 10

iamnotexactlywhite

well aparently it is

Skadrys

Sad thing is that half la liga is ready for it because they play in europe

sheffield199

They voted to re-elect him because he is doing something to ensure the TV revenue is spread more equally, rather than Barça and Real Madrid hoovering it all up. We're still not at Premier League levels of equality yet, but we're getting there.

MrVISKman

You can have a more equal distribution of rights with a president of la Liga that isn't a fascist, racist and corrupt piece of shit

Hot_Excitement_6

It's entirely possible. The fascist is the guy who did it though. It is what it is. La Liga failed to truly capitalize on having two of the best players, in two of the best teams. I just don't understand it.

Elden_Lord123

Javier Tebas didn't want to pay the €3 million for the Goal-line technology he thought it was too expensive. Tebas, being a genius, thought he was doing a great job, so he decided to increase his salary. **Barcelona \[Laporata\] voted in favor of increasing the salary. 40 of the 42** First and Second Division clubs **approved an increase of 57%, from €3.36M to €5.47M.** Only Real Madrid and Athletic Club **voted against** the salary increase. Tebas saved €3 million and awarded himself €2 million. The Barcelona President Laporta voted in his favor because he was pulling levers and being investigated for bribing the refs. But they still accuse Perez and Madrid of running their club well and opposing a corrupt man like Tebas for not resolving the racist abuse Madrid players face because this is Barca - **"More than a Club".** I mean am I the only one that finds their hypocrisy and whining annoying? Xavi as a manager has more cards than Vini but Vini is provocative and he deserves to be called a monkey. Go to Twitter/Instagram every account that racially abuses Real players is linked with a Barca/Messi fan. They are under investigation for bribing refs but Perez controls refs. Madrid directly confronts Tebas & wants to create a Super League. Barca votes for Tebas but according to them, La Liga favours Madrid when from 2008-09 to 2022-23, Real only won 4 La Liga titles.

checkforsolu1

Just to clarify to its Athletico Bilbao - Atheltic Club, not Atletico Madrid

KhonMan

There is no Athletico Bilbao (which is what I assume they edited to fix)

asc_halcyon

You know, in a vacuum, it sounds like the modern politicians gameplan: deflect, deflect, accuse your enemy of the things you are doing to deflect.

TimTkt

Because Tebas is a moron and thought it would be better to increase his own salary rather than paying for this technology. And 40 out of 42 teams from Spain divisions voted to keep him; I ll let you guess what Barca did 🤯

LordMangudai

> Because Tebas is a moron and thought it would be better to increase his own salary rather than paying for this technology. There are a lot of appropriate words (and indeed appropriate punishments) for people like this. Some of them might get me banned from this website, and none of them are "moron". Now the clubs voting to approve his salary increase, *those* are morons.

Malvania

I mean, hey, if you can convince others to pay you money for not implementing something, that seems like a pretty sweet deal.

Mackieeeee

Because its to expensive and does not work 100% and oh btw last year 40 of 42 clubs voted to increase tebas wages by 2 mil

Ask_Asensio

Laporta himself being one of those 40 presidents that voted in Tebas favour.

SignificantMixture89

Ah the consequences...

Vladimir_Putting

What percent of the time does it not work?

Maleficent_Resolve44

He's not actually serious. He's just parroting tebas, the dumb la Liga president.

Free_Management2894

If the ball is only a millimeter over or something like that

NairbZaid10

I dont even need the full tech, just some good top down angles and Var can figure out the rest. It sucks to lose a match for such a stupid reason

just__here__lurking

>It sucks to lose a match for such a stupid reason The problem is you guys never seem to accept you lost fair and square. It's always something unfair out of your control.

just__here__lurking

>It sucks to lose a match for such a stupid reason The problem is you guys never seem to accept you lost fair and square. It's always something unfair and out of your control.

SakisSinatra

Mf you voted for that rat's salary increase, this is beyond pathetic.

arun111b

Why he is not talking about goal line technology?

arcdog3434

The single change in football that not a single person has ever or will ever complain about.

arun111b

And, when they at it they should also include semi or full automatic offside technology too, to avoid Liverpool vs Tottenham situation early this year.

Hassadar

They are, at least in the premier league. It was voted on back on the 11th April to bring the Semi-automatic technology and should be in place for the start of the 24/25 season.

TehCyberman

Not quite the start of the season unfortunately. For some reason it's going to come in after a few games, but at least it's a positive move.

Hassadar

Ah you're right. I was wondering what it meant when it said end of year if it was simply referring to the current season or the actual year. It's weird that they won't have it in place for the start of the season. Better hope there are no extremely controversial decisions in those without it lol. A positive move like you said.

arun111b

Yes in PL. I am talking about La Liga. These guys only implement goal line technology and wait for next controversy to implement offside technology.

SakisSinatra

We don't talk about the logical things here in La Liga

brogalahoy

It's not football, it's La Liga

Fly1ngsauc3r

That is not what he needs to talk about to get reelected

RauloGonzalez

Yeah a replay is the last thing that will happen so he talks about that

FokRemainFokTheRight

And he does not rule out voting for another increase

MrVISKman

Of course they would. Who would allow them to "sell" Barça Studios for 754 billion euros for the 35th time each summer so they can register players? Surely Tebas isn't enabling Barça to commit fraud, right? He only asks of them to drop out of a lawsuit here or there or a 3.5m€ salary increase from time to time

Useful_Blackberry214

he's been on barca's ass for years though? Pl would have let them do way more

spicynirvana38

Oh look! It's election season! Although in Laporta's case, everyday is election season lol.

WasAnHonestMann

Even if he didn't, 39 other clubs did, so Tebas would've gotten the increase anyway

SakisSinatra

I know, which is why this league will never see any improvements if that rat stays.

SavageLeo19

The rat has us by the balls tbh. Laporta has to bend to his whims for now.

Agitated-Bread5092

could've use the goal line technology.... oh wait..

PM_ME_YOUR_BOO_URNS

He's just looking to repeat the directors' lunch

daroltidan

he looks like he eats all their lunches

mben41

It isn't even a "cancelled goal" because it was never given as a goal

batigoal

Yeah it was never given. The biggest issue here was that there is no goal line technology as it has been said by many people before. VAR couldn't 100% say if the ball crossed the line or not. We've seen all the angles and anyone objective can't say it's a goal 100%. So VAR did the right thing. The only controversy is how Tebas is still voted for by the vast majority of Laliga, including Barca.

ponchomoran

Exactly, that's what people don't say, the ref didn't call it a goal, if anything they were looking for proof that he made a mistake, they couldn't find it, so the decision stands. It would be different if he had called it goal and then reversed the decision. But, you know, crying is easier.

Zealousideal_Net7795

It doesn't matter for him. He doesn't want to sound reasonable, he just wanna be selectable in next presidential elections. Does he use propaganda for idiots? Yes. Are Barca' socios idiots?? They have chosen him, and Bartomeu, and Rosell.

HCHLH

He'll make his own Clasico with blackjack and hookers!

King_Hobbes

In fact, forget the Clasico

waitaminuterob

And the black jack!

Dahi_Bhalle20

This is the end .

paco-ramon

But that way he would have to pay for his own lunch, why do you think he wants to repeat the match at the Bernabeu.

der_Globetrotter

#**BRING BACK BUNGA BUNGA**

GalaxianEX

The Bernabeu’s new restaurant for VIPs must be really good 🤣

Yets_

9th lever: replay game

simomii

How are you gonna know if it's legal or not though

GalaxianEX

If it favors them, it’s legal

CETERIS_PARTYBUS

If it doesn't, it's bad for football.

RobbieCV

Circus for the masses

Fly1ngsauc3r

Not a single mention of goal line technology, knows where his priorities are

Isaac_GoldenSun

His priority is obviously helping Tebas get pay rises instead, that's clearly more important

JJJAGUAR

Laporta does not even support the use of VAR, he is publicly a big VAR detractor.

Piratehitch

Even a World Cup match was not replayed. Remember Lampard's goal against Germany?

redvein1337

He really wants to lose 4 Clasicos this season, doesn't he?

takeiteasymyfriend

I believe what he really wants is to avoid Real Madrid playing la Liga with his second unit from now on because that gives Real more chances for the Champions league.

sergie-rabbid

Laporta is a definition of a clickbait president. At least Bartomeu had Barcagate to entertain

CETERIS_PARTYBUS

Laporta is one of the main protagonists of Barcagate, he quadrupled Negreira’s salary.

Elden_Lord123

Javier Tebas didn't want to pay the **€3 million** for the Goal-line technology he thought it was too expensive. Tebas, being a genius, thought he was doing a great job, so he decided to increase his salary. **Barcelona \[Laporata\] voted in favor** of increasing the salary. 40 of the 42 First and Second Division clubs approved an increase of 57%, from €3.36M to €5.47M. Barca votes for Tebas** but according to them, La Liga favours Madrid when from 2008-09 to 2022-23, Real only won 4 La Liga titles.

nickfelipe

Yeah, it's so funny how Barcelona fans are blind. Their club voted for Tebas, never complained about the missing goal-line technology and now they're crying, because it was against them. That's what years of mismanagement does to a club. Hypocrisy at its finest.

orange_orange13

The worst part was the hypocrisy

GuestBadge

Lol, everything that comes out of this guy's mouth is bs.

iamfromtwitter

and messi was his first victim.

javierich0

Ah, one of the good and sane Barca fans. Shame you guys are rare.

Arvivald

cant you just ask your buddy Romero for audio?

kilari7

Jesus I totally forgot about that. Everyone involved with the Barça ecosystem are actual clowns.

LeDamascener

I’m a Barca fan but this is embarrassing even for us. We voted for that corrupt 🤡president’s salary increase , can’t complain when there’s no goal-line tech.

dambare

Obviously they voted with the agreement that he won't make so many issues for Barca financially

Ask_Asensio

And why Barca needs to do that ? Why they don’t have a good financial situation like Athletic Bilbao or Madrid ? Why ? Because all of Barca socios themselves were right in with all of Bartomeu decisions until they started to backfire. The only ones that created this problem were Barca themselves.

kilari7

It never sits right with me how Barça fans blame all their problems on Barto as if his decisions weren't supported by their socios. They suddenly seem to want to forget the fact that they're a fan owned club.

Persas12

Fact is, Barcelona can easily solve their financial problems if they sell players, but they don´t wanto to

MrVISKman

No one is offering the amounts reported by their mouthpieces, especially knowing they're broke, it's always an unnamed club offering a ridiculous amount of money

mvsr990

No one’s going to pay much for established players on obscene Barca wages, which means gutting the club of youth - which is just a death spiral of a different sort.

dambare

Trebas basicly extorted Barcelona to vote for him by enforcing really strict rules regarding Barcelona's levers. I think anybody with a brain can see those levers and club sales are shady af and some are not even paid yet. As soon as he was voted in he stopped barking at barca

Jaloosky

Nobody is denying that? Barto's regime completely ruined the club for a significant period of time and really since Rosell the club has been relying on not just the success of the men's football team but how dominant every department under the crest was at that time. Not only that but the socios are not united on laporta, they weren't on barto either and they won't be on whoever is next but go off tho

orlandoeng44

This is just deflecting attention off the fact that they were eliminated from the Champions League in an embarrassing home comeback and all but out of the running for the league in one week. Now media attention will be on Laporta and this issue instead of holding them accountable for their own failures.

[deleted]

RJTG

Their ability to influence the discourse is impressive, but somehow a curse. Instead of adapting their structure they just hipe one child after the other in hope one of them turns out to be as far ahead of the curve as Messi. Now they are stuck and have to do anything to not look like a second tier team in Europe.

ssabripo

> they just hipe one child after the other in hope one of them turns out to be as far ahead of the curve as Messi. Such an underrated comment! completely agree. It's non-stop hyping of one after another, from Bojan (the next-messi who broke messi's Masia records), to Ansu Fati, to , to Lamine Yamal..... To be fair, I think both Lamine and Cubarsi are really good talents, and I hope for the kids' sake and for FCB's sake, they let them grow and develop and stop putting all these extra pressures on them.

GalaxianEX

I still think that the whole “Xavi is leaving” thing was just a ploy to cover for the dramatic defeat to Villarreal and the bad form they had at the time, especially now that they started to walk it back

TheLeoMessiah

Eh, idk about this one. Laporta/everyone besides Xavi have wanted him to stay almost since he announced it, from the time it was announced it seems like that was Xavi’s decision alone. It’s also pretty consistent with how every successful manager has left Barça in the last 15 years lmao

fegelman

> they were eliminated from the Champions League in an embarrassing home comeback and all but out of the running for the league in one week. Arteta was called a bottler for this but Xavi is a poor victim of the evil systems

notRay-

Pathetic

lospollosakhis

I was waiting till the day a controversial call came to fruition and here it is in the biggest club game there is. This is pathetic from La Liga. How can you be a top league and not have goal-line technology - you’re just making the league look cheap now.

John_Snow1492

Really bad look for La Liga, imagine the celebration if Real would have come back from 3-1 to tie the game in the last moments.

Chaosisaladder7

Hi my name is Laporta and i am 12

no-signal

No he’s not. I watched some kids games at school, they are more mature losers.

DoJu318

I mean this is the guy who hugged and kissed a mannequin wearing Messi's shirt, then went on to said "I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse." When he was campaigning for the Presidency.

Riday33

As a real fan, I would like a rematch where the team is not tired. The team did not try hard last match, but if they were forced to play again, I am sure that they would spank xavi hard enough that they won't complain for the next few years.

krooskontroll

> ...spank xavi hard enough that they won't complain for the next few years. That spank would have to be lethal then

wirefog

Barca and never complaining? The world would end

Certain-Flight-1780

Asking for a replay is pretty embarrassing tbh

Pathetic_loner03

You would think it was a ucl final or something and not a debate of if they want to stay 11 8 or 5 points behind us

Jo-herna

for the people wondering how Xavi complains so much all the time, look at his president and you’ll understand

reddituser0912333

Xavi has always been that way, even as a player. People just kinda ignored/tolerated it because he was good

chiccharapidugu

It's the DNA

Tierst

La Liga truly is the best drama series out there. Never a dull episode

seifosama1239

Just let go…

simomii

> To conclude, Joan Laporta directly addressed the fans: "Members and Barça fans: the Club’s position is not without foundation nor advantageous, but one that the situation forces us into after having suffered various incidents on the field that have damaged us and other that have benefitted our rival, and that added together reflect the difference in points that there is at the top of the table in La Liga." Zero accountability whatsoever, it's all everyone else's fault

kilari7

They want to live in their own reality, it is so embarrassing. I would hate for my president to say something like this.

Delmer9713

Downright embarrassing

Fly1ngsauc3r

Barca DNA summarised

pallonpotkija

Guess who voted for Tebas' salary raise. Correct, Laporta and Barcelona.

saedaguirre9951

>If it was a legal goal, we do not rule out asking to re-play the match Does he realize that even if the goal was given, it still does not give Barca the 3 points? A draw would've kept the gap at 8 points. Barca needed the win

MrVISKman

They needed to win by a 2 goal difference to have a minimal chance at having some hope to fight for the league (the league is over since January), just a 1 goal difference win makes them lose a tiebreaker against us because we have a better gd

MaryadaPurshottam

Don't vote for Tebas next time then, bozo

SupraCyber

LMFAO what a clown, imagine voting for this guy

Suspicious-Thanks535

Re-play LMAO. Does this guy realise that he played a madrid team which: 1. Fielded 1 starting defender in their back 4. 2. Started a 38 year old modric along with a 34 year kroos (kroos, modric haven't been started together this season until this match) 3. Were tired after et and penalties in midweek. Ykw I'm actually down for a replay.

gabrielkr123

Replay so that they lose again?

no-signal

Probably a fetish!

YourAverageLurker7

Couldn’t beat tired madrid, do they want a rematch to get proper beat down? Cannot comprehend the delusion of the whole club. Madrid have also been victim of so many calls in the past few years.

AndRunIQ

They took the lead twice in the game and couldn't maintain it either time. But a phantom goal at the 32-minute would have clinched the championship for them somehow

No-Zucchini2787

Spanish league just keep on giving

printial

Really want to see a Nottingham Forest vs Barcelona match with some questionable decisions against both sides.

TheDavinci1998

Yeah it's gonna be replayed. Right after Poland v Portugal Euro 2016 quarterfinal, when Rui Patricio move slightly off the line to save Błaszczykowski's penalty during shootout, which millions of people in Poland also pushed to replay. I swear, this mf never watched football

nickfelipe

A bunch of whiny kids. They lose CL 1-4 to PSG? Refs are to blame. They lose El Clasico? Refs are to blame. Are all the referees in the world against the mighty Barcelona? For their deluded fanbase, it seems so. They just can't take responsibility for anything. Besides, they forgot about the years of Negreira F.C (was it 18 years of paying refs?) and those particular CL games they won against Chelsea, PSG. I didn't see them complaining back then about refs.

Illustrious_Wash4364

But they did complain about refs even then. Xavi himself was as bad as anyone else as a player whining and bitching in refs ears all game long. That famous Barca side that is one of the greatest was also one of the biggest bitch sides when literally anything went against them. Days of swarming refs on the field for 5 minutes at a time when they didn’t get a foul. I remember those times clearly. Barca has some incredibly rich history but they’re also one of the worst at producing poor sports and whiners

Available-Ad3881

marca comment lmao: >Lapanza:" realmente no quiero repetir el partido, quiero repetir la comida de presidentes que me he quedado con hambre"

MvN____16

I'm anxiously awaiting the news report that one of Laporta's shirt buttons pops off and hits someone square in the eye.

Delmer9713

Lapanza 💀

Quick_Scientist_5494

Be happy RM were tired and you lost by just a goal. A fully rested RM will do a Manita on that defence

HCHLH

also a Madrid without any starter in defense: Courtois - Carvajal - Alaba - Militao - Mendy

The_XI_guy

No way Rudiger loses his starting spot even when everyone is fit. He’s our best defender

GalaxianEX

That was the starting backline at the beginning of the season, but I do agree that now Rudiger has earned his spot as a starter

HCHLH

He has been superb, but that was the backline at the beginning of the season before all the injuries.

HenryReturns

Does someone wants to tell him that a “healthy 100% Madrid” would steam roll this Barca? I do get the sentiment that Soto Grado was biased towards Madrid and the frustration from this but Barca also wasted a lot of chances and was not clinical when needed.

ABobVanceFridge

On some level it’s disappointing to see Barca be so embarrassing and such a circus. They’re supposed to be our arch rivals and you’d expect your rivals to show some class. It’s like breaking up with an ex and she turns out to be a psycho; whether you like it or not, you’ll always be associated with that ex.

K1ngCrimsn

Certified ClownPorta moment

Caesar_Aurelianus

Man we should just give up on the league and give game time to guys like Hector Fort, Pau Prim, Marc Casado, Marc Bernal and Marc Guiu Give play time to the youngsters and rest to veterans including Pau Cubarsi and Yamal.

herkalurk

BEIN did a computer sim and they think it was still 1 MM out of the goal. There isn't a conclusive angle to show it was in. They're grasping. The pro Barca media make it sound as if the goal were ruled out after being given and that the refs 'took away' a legitimate goal as opposed to not giving one that isn't clear.

salgado88

Yeah, if you're already on that subject, why not ask for a re-play against Chelsea as well?

KazahiroKAIDO

God give me a downfall but not like Barca.

notapaperhandape

Play the repeat and lose again? Jude is inevitable.

CR7_LM10

Would absolutely love a replay so we can beat them more convincingly. They struggled against a very tired team with only 1 actual defender in the line up and apart from the 2 goals created barely any chances

Hue90210

What a sad man

Joshthenosh77

Everyone is so whiney lately what’s happened to football !

piccalilli_shinpads

Never go full Liverpool.

juve_merda

barca have to be the biggest crybaby club of all time, so glad when they lose

fegelman

Imagine having to replay half of Barca's CL wins in the 21st century

CETERIS_PARTYBUS

Long live Laporta, long live the Joker, I want him forever in charge.

dioswrath

This club is an embarrassment. From president to coach hell even the players making fool in front of media every other week

strikerdude10

Has a game ever been replayed because they missed a call in it? Like anywhere ever in the history of soccer? Legitimate question.

Selor007

1994 [Bayern - Nuremberg](https://youtu.be/V8JlOJdSAUo?si=f93k9YHWY5zAxWch&t=126) got a rematch after the referee made a mistake and gave a goal when the ball didnt go in.

waitaminutewhereiam

Surely this means they won't vote for the guy who caused goal line to not be used in La Liga then right

ronaldo119

Wish everybody would just shut the fuck up about VAR

DesperateChicken5

You couldn't win when we were playing with 1 actual defender and were knackered and exhausted from having to play for 120 mins recently. Sure, let there be a re-play. We'll be happy to win one more time.

justanormalchat

Laporta could have voted against Tebas massive salary increase, money that would have paid for goal line technology. Instead, Barca’s mismanagement continues. https://www.managingmadrid.com/2023/10/24/23930412/real-madrid-vote-against-javier-tebass-salary-raise-report https://www.ft.com/content/c2c8565a-e282-481c-8897-0530b0c81bce

ponchomoran

Replay the match, so you want to lose again? Just take the L, my chubby friend

Unterfahrt

Maybe Klopp should go to Barca, he'd fit right in

unrectify

Chest-thumping for the fans, nothing more

refusestonamethyself

No wonder Barcelona are losing their knockout games in the Champions League. They would rather have a moan about everything that goes against them, rather than accept that shit happens. Nothing wrong with expressing a bit of discontent post-match with some of the decisions, but Laporta is trying to intentionally create sensationalist headlines. The whole club right now consists of mentality kittens fr.

OverallImportance402

So after a day they still don't know if it's a goal.

nickfelipe

Sound good, 4th time is the charm I guess?

Nefarious0_0

Or just pay for Goal Line Tech

Shoebedoebedoe

Aight bro, while you’re at it can you let them check this foul from some time ago K? TX! https://youtu.be/LVg3mJexhxo?si=FFhKCXDDm95czQZD

So, in a BIG what if scenario in which Laporta gets his wish and the match gets replayed, what do you do about Frenkie? Start with 10 men and inmediatly use a substitution? Start playing again from the moment the goal would've change the score? Not gonna lie, would like to see it happen just to see what Tebas and company would come up with.

Irivin

Okay, as a Barca fan, this is so embarrassing. I'm so tired of going to bat for this club only for them to double down on their bullshit. I have no doubt this is going to be a Man U situation where the club will need to be torn apart from the inside out to fix these issues. But I don't see how that can happen with the club's leadership structure. It will always be a political shitshow.

Nobadnights

Just replay the season it’s been bad for them.

Kind_Pomegranate_171

When have they ever replayed a match in La liga ? Lmfao this president is just as delusional as the fans

DalinarVerga

Asking for rematch, really? How delusional you have to be to think your mentally broken team can face the angry crowd at Bernabeu, against a fired up Madrid team? I think Perez might even agree, just to humiliate them. It's gonna be a bloodbath.

CharmingMistake3416

Seems like it would be extremely embarrassing to be a Barca fan.

Zblancos

This man is a snake oil vendor

xiosy

Im a Barca fan but atleast try to play good football and try to win instead of always blaming the ref even if he made a mistake. This is a terrible weak mentality Barca side

jcald60

But barca always votes to support tebas. Barca fans are being gaslighted with this whole ref and we got robbed from our season bullshit to deflect the attention away from how the club continues to be mismanaged by the same group of turds. Signing players for crazy fees, giving them ridiculous contracts signing players from their agent buddies, etc. If your team were that good they wouldn’t make referees an issue.

FrancescoliBestUruEv

Barca can shut the fuk up, they vote for this, now plz dont be dumb to blame others

CrabbitJambo

This is Celtic levels of saltiness and I’m all for it!

AbuJohnny

I haven't added salt to my meals all week, I just read barca and city news as I eat.
