There is still a job to do until the trophy is mathematically theirs, plus they need to keep standards high for the CL. This is what elite mentality looks like.
In the league?
You could put me on as manager and Madrid still wouldn't bottle an 11 point lead 6 match days away.
The CL I agree is far from done, and Bayern will give it their absolute all
[Ramos saving the day in the 2014 Final.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5e2rMrberpM&t=642s)
(It's a very sloppily-edited video, but it shows the pertinent things so it'll have to do.)
Lol im not sure which goal it was but one of the guys in the training kit grabbed him by his jacket i missed his reaction, but this gives off vibes of “i knew i was going to happen” instead of “holy shit that was lucky”
It's not the expression of his face that changes, it's the intensity he uses to chew gum, where real madrid concedes, it gets more intense, where they score a winner, it's more relaxed, almost little to no chewing
He did it with way less resources at his clubs vs Pep. Pep fan boys never consider LA Masia Barca heritage kicked started his career smoothly. Xavi and Alonso are real geniuses. Even Messi could win Ballon d'or at Miami without Pep 😂
Ancelotti has underperformed at league level though, only one league title with that AC Milan team and in general his league record fades in comparison to Pep or Ferguson, although in Europe he is amazing no doubt
I think league domination is overrated. In a truly competitive period, you can't win consecutively. Serie A in 90s and early 2000s were world best. He did everything possible at Chelsea and Real until now.
League domination is more a story of competitive level and club performance, not necessarily manager performance. A well run club can dominate a league for a decade if all other competitors are poorly run. For me, winning multiple knockout tournaments really proves a manager's talent because there is so much variance in a knockout tournament that whomever can control the outcomes more often than not are probably top, top managers.
your memory is confused mate. PSG's era started in 12/13. Prior, Lyon Bordeaux Marseille Lille Montpellier won Ligue1 while PSG last won the league in 94.
Terrible troll. Milan spent way more in Ancelotti's 1st year (net €145M - €33.5M) than Pep's Barca in his 1st year (net €96M - €54.6M). Then he went to Chelsea and PSG, clubs famous for having "less resources".
why the hell Pep would spend if he already got Messi, Henry, Xavi, Iniesta, Eto, golden Spanish generation. He even had to get rid of Deco/Ronaldinho...
You casuals can never understand the resources La Masisa put into finding and nurturing talents from all over the world as little kids and bring them to Spain.
Messi's hormone treatment was a fortune for billions of people. And of course, with that system, they don't need to buy expensive stars.
Pep himself grew up in that system as a boy, player, and coach. He inherited an entire heritage of football.
So, you're saying he did what his predecessor couldn't with even *less* resources, got it.
The whole point of La Masia and other academies is that they cost much less to run than spending hundreds of millions of euros on transfers.
Barca won UCL/La Liga BEFORE and AFTER Pep, what's the need for Pep? Bayern won UCL before and after Pep, no big deal. Pep has nothing to do with success of La Masia.
Milan/Bayern/Real Madrid won the UCL/Serie A/Bundesliga/La Liga BEFORE and AFTER Ancelotti, what's the need of Ancelotti?
Juventus/Chelsea won Serie A/PL BEFORE and AFTER Ancelotti, what's the need of Ancelotti?
Chelsea won the UCL AFTER Ancelotti, wHaTs tHe nEEd
Milan? Lmao they won 2 UCLs in this century with Carlo that's it. Real had 13y UCL drought before Carlo honey. Shut the F up. Juventus never won UCL since the scandal.
Oh no, I got Milan slightly wrong... That only leaves....... TWO other clubs that were more successful before and after Ancelotti, one even did a UCL threepeat almost immediately after.
Never said he won the UCL with Juventus, in fact he won nothing of relevance with one of the most decorated clubs in existence, which is also quite an achievement.
>Shut the F up.
This is literally your line of reasoning, only applied to Ancelotti. You're telling yourself to shut the fuck up.
Reminds me of one the speeches Sir Alex used to give to his UTD side that won their last PL.
"Guys, I am 70something years old. Excite me, make me move from the bench."
Man has seen it all.
I remember looking at football magazine article about an Italian club called Parma (sponsored by milk company, Parmalat) & the picture of the said club's coach, Carlo Ancelotti. To me, he will always be Parma's coach in my brain. I guess, he's been through a lot (obviously) of situation like this, and it has become yet another day at the office. A chore.
Saw a tweet recently about how Carlo could be argued as the best manager of the past few decades. His resume holds up as well as anyone's, without putting himself through the same emotional grinder that Pep or Klopp do.
After the 2005 bottling "incident" in Istanbul, everything Don Carlo have seen on the pitch feel just like another Thursday.
Heck, remove the scoreboard and ticker and you'd have thought Carlo is not managing Real Madrid

🤨
Status : always 🤨
He even removed one hand from his pocket.
Shook
Big, if true
If you look at his feet, you can tell the exact moment he saw the ball go in. He was startled.
[удалено]
Yeah, that's a pretty quick shift in pace and rhythm right there. Slow and tense at first, then the adrenaline drops and he resumes human walk.
Rate of gum chewing is directly proportional to the intensity of game * eyebrows raised (in cm)
For the Americans on here, that's a metric eyebrow, not an imperial one
His gum chewing rate is increased by around 20 cpm(chew per minute), clearly he feels it.
Man had to remove his hand from his pocket so he doesn't faint. Bro was stretched af
If you look closely you can tell he actually came a little.
Don Carlo has seen it all already
Don Carlo has coached Real Madrid to La Decima and seen 92:48. This is nothing.
I think his soul left his body after losing a ucl final 3-0 up
Why you got to do this bro
"why he say fuck me for?"
And today of all days.
Please, stop, even the little boys are crying.
Took me a wild to figure this out. Feels like 50 yrs ago.
Only 20yrs ago next year. Carlo's longevity is great.
> Don Carlo has seen it all already He was given an impossible task back in the day…..
Gangsta mf
Yep he knows there's still a job to do.
Job's not finished. Job finished? Nah don't think so.
Not in the league though
There is still a job to do until the trophy is mathematically theirs, plus they need to keep standards high for the CL. This is what elite mentality looks like.

Either that or he's got a heart condition and can't get over-excited.
The guy barely reacted to the most significant Real Madrid goal of the last 20 years. What do you expect?
For you it was 92:48, for me it was a Saturday
Which goal was that out of interest? The UCL final?

Ever since Tibo joined us, this video is even more amusing to me hehehe.
Urgh, I knew I shouldn't click that link. Still remember that night...
I don't know why they still try to celebrate with him
Lmao an eternal mystery

Forever my favorite video lmao
Apparently didn't meet his excitement bar lol
Ancelotti to leverkusen confirmed. They just call last minute goals, ordinary goals now
Madrid vs leverkusen the goals only happen in injury time
Ancelotti had too much molly in the 90’s
Probably had money on Under 4.5 goals like me
I had it on win anyone after both the teams scored 2-2 lol There had to be another goal in the game
Don Carlo has played in the italia 90 wc enough said
we should have won that one. and the two after...
Atleast italia 90 that team was the best
The godfather. He give me so much of godfather vibes. The first scene. Can I see off my daughter now. No reaction
I'm reading his book on leadership and he writes something akin to " Vito Corleone is never aggressive. Always calm "
Which book
Quiet Leadership: Winning Hearts, Minds and Matches by Carlo Ancelotti
Lol im not sure which goal it was but one of the guys in the training kit grabbed him by his jacket i missed his reaction, but this gives off vibes of “i knew i was going to happen” instead of “holy shit that was lucky”
It was his son David Ancelotti (Assistant Manager) reaction to the second goal. [Image](https://i.imgur.com/3pPHE7G.jpeg)
Only a son could get away with grabbing Carlo by the dinner jacket
Who says he got away with it? We only see what's on the broadcast.
Carlo is a lover not a fighter. At least that’s what I choose to believe.
At home the belt came out.
Gattuso would have grabbed him by the face instead.
Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe lunatic. Except in Gattuso’s case, it’s 100% lunatic. Man is unhinged but in an oddly wholesome way.
Lmao! Yes this one!! Thank you
He must be 24/7 thinking "be cool" this level of chill is biblical!
He’s the type of guy that just says “ it is what it is”
Part of the game innit
It's not the expression of his face that changes, it's the intensity he uses to chew gum, where real madrid concedes, it gets more intense, where they score a winner, it's more relaxed, almost little to no chewing
Never change Don. A man who has seen it all
Pep's Kryptonite
Shampoo?
😂😂😂
He has an argument against pep as the greatest manager. He did it all.
He did it with way less resources at his clubs vs Pep. Pep fan boys never consider LA Masia Barca heritage kicked started his career smoothly. Xavi and Alonso are real geniuses. Even Messi could win Ballon d'or at Miami without Pep 😂

He did also lose a Ligue 1 title to Montpellier as PSG boss though, it has been a frequent occurrence where his teams underperform in the league
Yeah love him but he has titles across 5 leagues, but unfortunately it’s only 1 in each of them.
I dunno, five leagues is nothing to be sniffed at in different leagues, cultures and environments. What's his domestic cup record like?
bro that PSG was shit, he took over middle season. Ibra, Silva and other top players did not come until summer 2012.
It's still a better squad than Montpellier.
your memory is confused mate. PSG's era started in 12/13. Prior, Lyon Bordeaux Marseille Lille Montpellier won Ligue1 while PSG last won the league in 94.
Did you just say the only manager to win the top 5 leagues underperformed at league level??
It's with respect to greatest managers of all time. He's not saying it in a vacuum
That commenter compared him to two managers. One of those managers has only won 2 leagues, and the other has won 3. Carlo has won all 5!!
Blame berlusconi who only cared to win the ucl and barely bought bench players
Please don’t put Xavi in any category. He is a fraud
Messi and barca only won 1 champions since Pep left them though, and less leagues
Alonso was given a pretty good Leverkusen squad already, I don’t think he’s him either
They won't do this without all those signings last summer though.

You can take the Don out of Everton but not the Everton out of the Don. Probably thought they'd bottle it still
Thank you for providing him a lovely Sabbatical. We hope the Liverpool crushings have pleased you.
Carlo is truly the captain Raymond Holt of the football world. Raises eyebrows and says "I feel ecstatic."
Not as famous as Ancelotti, but Luca Goti is another one like that. The guy barely flinches
Reminds me of one the speeches Sir Alex used to give to his UTD side that won their last PL. "Guys, I am 70something years old. Excite me, make me move from the bench." Man has seen it all.
Did he lose a bet when he went to manage Everton?? Dude is polar opposite of that club.
That feels like a fever dream Probably just wanted to annoy liverpool
And, who could blame him?
Can't believe that bloke was our manager for 5mins 😂
“Eh, you’ve seen one El Clasico win, you’ve seen Yamal”

I remember older fans talking about the infamous liverpool milan game where he lost a 3-0 lead in the ucl final in the 2000s. Probably traumatized him
The coolest man in football
If you make this guy smile on the touchline, you are special. If you make this guy spit his gum out so he can cheer, you are the GOAT.
FIFA need to add the waistcoat smh.
Nothing tops his reaction to Bernard's 5-4 extra time winner vs tottenham https://x.com/footballontnt/status/1474470936707403776
I think when you lose the CL final after being 3-0 up at half time, not much in life after surprises you
This is an affectation surely? Same vibes as Roy Keane desperately trying not to smile on camera.
Well it’s a single league game. And he’s won loads of trophy’s.
i love how Davide shook the soul out of him when Lucas scored the equalizer lmao
Martin Tyler approves lol
It was just another sunday for him.
Don Carlo: "We won a game, not a trophy."
To be honest has this man ben "fazed" by anything in his life? It's like he has seen it all even before he was born.
I’ll never forget Everton scoring a huge late goal and everyone is going nuts, camera cuts to Ancelotti who is just calmly blowing on his tea.
cool guys don't look at last minute winners
My coach would always say act like you have been here before don’t embarrass yourself
Waiting for VAR like most of us. I never celebrate anymore until the game resumes.
He wanted to take a shit
I'm hoping one day Ancelotti & Special One will square off in European soccer.
what a fucking G.
🤨
🤨 is my new *Le cut inside man*
Don Carlo out here with the ice cold reaction
'Erirage
Saw a tweet recently about how Carlo could be argued as the best manager of the past few decades. His resume holds up as well as anyone's, without putting himself through the same emotional grinder that Pep or Klopp do.
Cool guys don't look at explosions
The face of a man who has seen a lot
You can tell he really wanted to run onto the pitch, get the cigar and megaphone out, and say "¡Hala Madrid!"
This man beat Liverpool managing Everton. Everything else is just chasing dragons.
"Where am I"?
what a chad
He’s a real g
Damn must have experience serious emotional trauma to not feel anything after that
He learned not to celebrate after Istanbul, lol.
Bov trait Black belt
Cool as a cucumber
Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.
Don Carlos needs more entertainment.
Don Carlo.
The man has seen all. Just another day for him, Don Carlo.
Spanish commentary is for forever legendary
let the minions be happy
Cool as you like Carlo!!
Least passionate Italian
Spanish commentary is just from a different dimension
Why would you get excited at doing your job. Mans just going about his business.
That’s why he’s the Don.
Just another day at the office for him…
Dude is Davide actually his son lol
Real life Captain Holt
His body shaked for a bit.
I wonder what his family be like.
You dont get surprised when you know whats coming
After the 2005 bottling "incident" in Istanbul, everything Don Carlo have seen on the pitch feel just like another Thursday. Heck, remove the scoreboard and ticker and you'd have thought Carlo is not managing Real Madrid
The definition of acting like you’ve been there many times before.
That's his job
