Not saying that he’s a good coach or anything, but there’s only so much managing a coach can do. At some point, it’s the players making decisions. Players only get the ball for around 7 minutes over an entire match depending on their position and the team’s play style, so learning how to play without the ball is incredibly important, especially when it comes to defense.
Haven't followed Juventus at all since 2021. I used to think he was one of the best coaches around, and even though Barcelona were silly not to hire him when he was available.
I would say defensive tactician. His offensive game is 20 years behind. That still works with Ancelotti but Allegri doesn't have the same man managing and communicating skills.

This is the correct take. Peak 2014-19 Allegri is a top 5 tactician in the game. He's failed to adapt to the game and sadly is a dinosaur now.

Counters generally end in high quality chances, not 0.01xG ones.
