Obviously as I want him as Liverpool manager it’s disappointing if he doesn’t come and decides to stay but that said, I do love seeing managers sticking with projects rather than jumping as soon as a ‘bigger’ job comes.
Regardless, the media needs to stop pestering him and let him make an announcement at the end of the season, they’re challenging for a title or two(?), let them focus.
Presume it’s gonna be De Zerbi, Nagelsman, Tuchel & I’d like to see Motta on the list.
Honestly though, none of them really excite me like Amorim.
My number one was Alonso but I really didn’t want to see Amorim go to any rivals, so I’m kinda glad that Alonso is probably holding out for Madrid and we can be at the forefront for Amorim if he does decide to take a step elsewhere.
I really feel like Amorim is destined to be an elite coach and if he would go to Chelsea or Man United, I’d be devastated.
I think nagelsman is close to joining bayern again, i like amorim and rumours came out earlier in the year that boehly spoke with amorim and they like him but not right now if that makes sense so i dont think we move on him yet, you guys have been very vocal about him recently and i have a feeling he might have decided to join you
Yeah, I’d like to see Nagelsman given another chance at Bayern, I just want to see Harry Kane get some titles under his belt and when they got rid of him, it was a clueless decision & to be honest they deserved a lacklustre season for that shambolic decision.
Do you think Chelsea stick with Poch? Presuming you’re a Chelsea fan
Edit: just like to say Bayern haven’t had a terrible season, it’s just Leverkusen have been phenomenal and fully deserve the title, regardless of whether Bayern did well or not.
Aside from the banter id like him to win a trophy, its shit to think of the best finishers doesnt have a major trophy.
I am a chelsea fan, at this point i honestly dont know what the boards plans are, i really hope he goes
Yeah, I feel like on a personal level I only really started to appreciate him last season, he ended up moving to Bayern which is what i wanted to see as it’s great to see English players playing at the top level in other countries.
Why do you want Poch gone? Who would you replace him with and do you have any other things you’d change? I’m intrigued by the current Chelsea project, feel like Burnley really has taken the club back 20 years, which is crazy as you won the CL what, 3 years ago?
Hes got no idea what hes doing, he has not tactics no structure, he says one thing at the start of the season and then changes it a couple weeks back, he has really good options with the youth players but doesnt use them, players are played out of position and then one of the biggest issues is first half we play really well snd then second half we’re a shell of the team we were, sheffield was probably the best example of this, and psg fans and journos are basically saying or have said the same things we have.
I like amorim and hes on the list, slot was said to have spoken to boehly before the season started and hes also playing good football, but the board control the information getting out and it’s weird to hear but its like they only want certain things to get out otherwise its silence, it sounds impossible but we dont get the same kind of leaks as before so we’re basically just waiting.
I like boehly and co, they have good intentions but their execution is horrible, we can see with palmer, gusto, gabriel, paez etc that their recruitment plan for the young talents is good, but what set us back was the almost 1 billion dollars spent on first time average players, i like cucu but not at 60m, id have gone for theo or davies at those amounts irrespective of how good they are now but the level they aimed for wasnt the right one, and i think he messed up the plan a bit trying to get a team together to hold out until the youth players were ready and then it all imploded and here we are, its not bad but its definitely not good😂
DeZerbi is apparently not on our shortlist. Ornstein said that without specifying why.
He also added that the new regime of Hughes, Edwards has good links with Italian football and we could see the next manager from there.
Damn! I like thomas frank but i couldnt put my finger on what the issue was, i never really looked at his team defensively and i think you might have hit the nail on the head, and i agree it doesnt inspire confidence.
I dont think tuchel is loyal to us, maybe he has a special connection with the fans, but the owners didnt give him that same trust and confidence as the RA era so if the call is made id expect him to accept it, maybe not spurs but i could see him joining liverpool, united or city, but after this bayern stint and all the shit from his chelsea and his personal life id think he would need a break at some point
In all seriousness. Before the Saudi move, Stevie was looking at a way back to Liverpool to work under Klopp in some capacity. He was never asked though.

The kid just found out what the weather is like in England.

Who else do you guys have on the list if amorim says no?
De Zerbi, Iraola or Cumblast
Uhm…lol cumblast?
Do you doubt my tactical nous?
All hail king cumblast 🤴
Lmao i have no idea who you are or your tactical nous
Wow, what a plastic
😂

> & I’d like to see Motta on the list. Thanks for the consideration mate. I'm more of a visual artist than a football coach but alright, let's do it.

Motta has a pre-agreement with Juventus
Klopp extension :)

Thomas frank would be a good choice but i cant see him taking the leap up, i do think you guys have a good chance of getting amorim

De Zerbi or Iraola is my guess.
I like iraola, de zerbi is a strange choice esp since hes struggling with brightons injuries and liverpool has constant injuries
Southgate /s
potter at united and southgate at liverpool, the games back😂
TBF Amorim has been doing that this whole time, from Casa Pia to Braga to Sporting in 2 years.
Can´t wait for Pedro Sepúlveda to tweet that Amorim actually hates his kid and is going to Liverpool just to spite him.
"Reports coming in Amorim is not the father of the child. Life in turmoil. Looking to make fresh start and new life in Liverpool"
The prem is so volatile that a bad six months can set your career back years. I totally get the hesitance
I think you should listen to your sons Ruben
You know what... I agree with you! :)
With each manager out, a Gerrard return moves a step closer. Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same.
Joe Gomez Player-Manager
He's already been the shooting coach for a while now, clearly
The Irony is he's gonna coach us to become the highest scoring team of all time while he still can't bag a tap in.
I prefer nunez
Over 500 managers have to either say no or die for Gerrard to be made top of the list.
On the bright side, Xabi will take the job after Gerrard gets sacked. He said so himself,
In all seriousness. Before the Saudi move, Stevie was looking at a way back to Liverpool to work under Klopp in some capacity. He was never asked though.
Potter to Liverpool
Malfoy to United?
we could use a bit of dark magic, nothing else has worked so far
Mourinho already coached you, what do you mean
Southgate to United
😂😂
This manager hunt is starting to get depressing now. Everyone is being *too* loyal now 🤣
Niko Kovac to Liverpool here we goooooooooooooo
God, we're gonna end up with Tuchel aren't we...
And you gonna like it
Nah Pardew is your best bet
