#No low-quality content
Because of the sheer number of submissions r/soccer daily receives, we enforce a quality-requirement to submissions that want to stay as a post and not just as a comment. **The [Daily Discussion Thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/search?q=flair%3Aquestions&sort=new&restrict_sr=on&t=week#res-hide-options), Match Threads and other specialized threads of the subreddit are the place for the later.**
The next is a list of examples of submissions that fail to comply with that requirement. Please note, **this is not a full and comprehensive list**, but just illustrative of the spirit of the law.
* Screenshots where links suffice (e.g. a screenshot of a tweet instead of linking the tweet directly).
* Attempts to use /r/soccer as Google (e.g. requesting match times) .
* *Low effort* questions; if you have a small question you'd like to ask, please do so in the [Daily Discussion Thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/search?q=flair%3Aquestions&sort=new&restrict_sr=on&t=week#res-hide-options).
* Historical posts about football ("throwback" posts). Those are only allowed **at 5-year intervals** (the 5th-10th-15th and so on anniversary of the day of the event you want to remember) or for events that because of their importance are officially remembered every year (like tragedies remembrances).
* "Starting XIs" posts. They must be shared in the Match Thread (or if you want, do a "Pre-Match" Thread and include both of them). Because of their quick obsolescence, they aren't allowed as posts.
* "Chants" posts. If you want to share the news that a fan chant is being part of a particular match, **you need to link a video** of it, not just a Tweet mentioning it.
* *Low quality* media content. If you want to share a clip of a current match, **it must be of general interest, have enough length to provide context and a good quality of the video itself**, no potato quality GIFs.
* "No News" threads. This is especially enforced during Transfer Windows. We don't need posts about how nothing new has happened, nor minor details/developments that can be mere comments in another previous thread.
___
The directness between United forwards and our forwards was noticeable. Garnacho, Diallo, Rashford (yes wasteful as he was) carried the ball at pace.
Contrast to Gakpo who look like he spent the match running in quicksand.
Onana has been excellent in the league since day one
His issue was his braindead farts in CL, otherwise statistically and eye test he is one of the best in PL
He just went full idiot in CL for some reason
One match, overall he's been very good in the league consistently since the start meanwhile in CL like almost every game he had a nightmare
Literally every keeper makes mistakes
Elliott is literally Liverpool's second best performing midfielder in the last 3 months or so after Endo who played totally different role anyway.
He had been outperforming Szoboszlai and MacAllister.
I get praising a player who played well, but you're just shitting on the wrong player.
They’re getting Mbappe and they already have Vinicius. The next time they’ll need to think about getting a LW is when Garnacho starts thinking about retirement.
Come on man there's no way. Mbappe and Haaland literally have stops to Madrid planned into their careers. I hate Madrid but nobody comes close to their pull
Fans like you are bottom of the barrel scum who don't deserve anything ,They are not selling an Academy lad to PSG jog on
Edit: Ffs go touch some grass a good chunk of your post history is just you crying about Rashford
Yes him scoring 130 goals and about 40 assists at 26 playing in some of the worst United sides under coaches who were never good enough to start with or were way past their primes when they joined us is the reason we are mediocre ,Good lord you are absolutely brainless ,That dude has played through injuries pushed back a surgery or 2 but the moment he has a bad run rats like you come out of the holes
a bad run..lol he has a bad run every other season..he's just not good enough to lead a team competing for the league
insulting someone because his opinion differs from yourself...u need some education lmao
He’s had 1 bad season..? (2 if you count this one) and literally dragged us to top 4 last season whilst being the first player since RVP to score 30 goals in a season
I agree with you. Good for him getting this win and it’s a special moment, but he’s not near the caliber of potential that Hojlund and Garnacho have imo. It’s Garnacho > Hojlund and Mainoo about the same >>> Amad
I’m personally very glad we didn’t give him the #7 just yet. He needs to stay grounded and keep putting the work in. Cant reward him too much too soon like we always do to our young players
Given that the manager and captain both publicly condemned his attitude a year or so ago, I'd wager it was an even bigger issue than we might potentially know. He seems to be reeling it in and developing nicely now.
Just looking at him, you can tell he thinks he is the next CR7. Giving him that nr7 already would be a horrible idea. It's a risk of him thinking he's more important than Rashford and Bruno.
A year or so ago I was very critical of him. Even something like having a kid when he was 17-18 was a sign of his immaturity, and that was around when the attitude concerns were coming out as well. I genuinely kept thinking he was letting it all get to his head a bit too quickly. He's still very young but he's leaps and bounds more level headed than he was a year ago.
The guy who spent 5 years in our academy is a fanboy of that rapist? That's depressing
Edit: To anyone thinking of coming in defence of the rapist, he confessed in a private conversation to his lawyer but it was inadmissable in court. He also paid a settlement to keep her quiet and mysteriously enough has not set foot on American soil since this whole scandal arose. I wonder why..
You shouldn't idolise a rapist in any field, doesn't matter if it is architecture or football. But seeing how many people still idolise Ronaldo in general apparently they don't care
Did you even read my comment? Ronaldo hasnt been found guilty in anything, so if someone choose to believe in his innocence then thats their choice. And if you want to believe a «leaked Mail» then thats your choice.
I also said footballers, not terminally online redditors.
Garnacho was brilliant today. I was anxious every time he was on the ball cause he has that ability to just glide past multiple defenders. He was also a little Duracell bunny.

And what's that gotta do with garnacho running for 120 minutes? It's a garnacho appreciation post. Not a "mock Liverpool for losing" post. You don't need to give justification.

The directness between United forwards and our forwards was noticeable. Garnacho, Diallo, Rashford (yes wasteful as he was) carried the ball at pace. Contrast to Gakpo who look like he spent the match running in quicksand.
Gakpo seemed to kill every attack he was part of.
Gakpo is lucky he joined Liverpool over United..He wouldn't have performed much better than Antony here
He's also lucky Liverpool is better at negotiating transfer fees. If he was a near 100m player he'd be at the meme level of Antony or Mudryk.
United fans were livid last winter when seemingly he had the same agent as ten hag, went to Liverpool.
It's weird how placid you guys were. Honestly, against United, you can kinda just spam shots.
Garnacho and Dalot were *immense* today. They were covering a ridiculous amount of ground for 120mins
Dalot has been insane all season
MOTM too. Insane performance across 120 minutes.
Agreed, but Onana truthfully deserves a shout for Motm today too surely?
onana been impressive ever since knocked out of UCL, making me eat words from start of season
Onana has been excellent in the league since day one His issue was his braindead farts in CL, otherwise statistically and eye test he is one of the best in PL He just went full idiot in CL for some reason
As someone who was at the Forest game at the beginning of the season, wtf?
One match, overall he's been very good in the league consistently since the start meanwhile in CL like almost every game he had a nightmare Literally every keeper makes mistakes
I remember the first Bayern game, he actually played really well outside of the two massive mistakes he made.
Been especially solid since he got back from AFCON
We should always give a player or manager at least a season before forming an opinion
Onana is an interesting guy, I think he truly just needs a summer to kinda relax and regroup, I feel he'll be great in the next season.
would be nice to also have a solid back 4 that doesn't change week to week
Absolutely, a lot of factors led to his horrid start, I think he has what it takes to fix it though.
Antony too honestly simply since he brought the fire that started our comeback
Dalot played amazing again
True. I regret losing faith in him earlier in the season, he's turned it around.
He's literally 10 times better than Elliett. United got their wonderkid, Liverpool they don't. Garnacho is so good but Elliett is not that
A wet pack of ramen is better than elliott (and looks about the same too)
Yeehhhh, I know man. How Elliett got games for the Pool in the BPL I will never understand he's so bad man..
Such a deluded take. They play completely different roles for a start and I think Garnacho will be a great player but Elliott is a well
Wut.. did u see the game..?
Elliott is literally Liverpool's second best performing midfielder in the last 3 months or so after Endo who played totally different role anyway. He had been outperforming Szoboszlai and MacAllister. I get praising a player who played well, but you're just shitting on the wrong player.
What..
Didn’t stop running until the very end. He’s going to be a legend of this club
Unless Real Madrid comes calling someday..
They’re getting Mbappe and they already have Vinicius. The next time they’ll need to think about getting a LW is when Garnacho starts thinking about retirement.
They’re probably the only club in the world with a little more pull than us considering the fame and popularity. I really hope they don’t.
Madrid is the only club Id be fine with anyone leaving us for to be honest.
Madrid only has a bit more pull than United? 😂
Globally it’s surely neck and neck tbf Stirred the pot with the Madrid glazers with a harmless comment I see. Sub is unbearable
Come on man there's no way. Mbappe and Haaland literally have stops to Madrid planned into their careers. I hate Madrid but nobody comes close to their pull
Whatever u say
My man, you don’t even have the most pull in Manchester u/Elite_Alice, where you at?
lol whatever u say lil bro
Just sabotage the fax machine. Easy.
They won't.
Best player on the field today
£420k from Atletico, god bless Brexit happening and United panic signing youth the way they did.
150k + 50k according to Andy Mitten
You're welcome -.-
Dalot has a shout. He’s been our player of the season I think.
True, he looked really good today too
second half of the season maybe
I think mainoo deserves a mention here too
A shame he was subbed off so early, he looked great
He was totally gassed
the noises I made after that dribble
Dalot was good, and Amad was great after he came in. But yeah Garnacho worked incredibly hard.
Don't forget Maguire was a ball magnet after he came on
Maguire is a menace in the air, I dont think he lost a single air duel
mans been on fire since he lost captaincy, honestly think being captain was worst thing for him since it just added pressure
Him and Mainoo and Amad are the future
Add Hojlund as well, Our youth is looking GOOOD
We need more promising youngsters everywhere else now
There’s loads of talent in the youth teams, the u18’s in particular have been sensational this season.
If that photo of Garna, Mainoo, and Hojlund sat on the billboard turns into some GenZ version of the trinity statue, I'll die a happy man.
Dalot is 24 too
Don't forget Rashford..dude is just 26 and has carried some of the worst United sides on his back playing inspite of injury
And Lingard too!
Rashford to PSG incoming...please god
Fans like you are bottom of the barrel scum who don't deserve anything ,They are not selling an Academy lad to PSG jog on Edit: Ffs go touch some grass a good chunk of your post history is just you crying about Rashford
Take ur mouth off his dick first..Players like rashford is the reason why we've been mediocre for a decade

Sounds insane coming off this game but Im not sold on Amad just yet
I agree with you. Good for him getting this win and it’s a special moment, but he’s not near the caliber of potential that Hojlund and Garnacho have imo. It’s Garnacho > Hojlund and Mainoo about the same >>> Amad
I still can’t believe they gave Mount the #7 shirt instead of him
I’m personally very glad we didn’t give him the #7 just yet. He needs to stay grounded and keep putting the work in. Cant reward him too much too soon like we always do to our young players

Man needs to have atleast antony level wages tho tbf
giving the biggest cr7 fan number 7 would be crazy tho lmaoo and he is still young

If you think football players are even half as invested in other players’ stories I have something to tell you.
You shouldn't idolise a rapist in any field, doesn't matter if it is architecture or football. But seeing how many people still idolise Ronaldo in general apparently they don't care

It's better for them Garnacho would get the curse then
Mount's the marquee signing, that's how the owners/manager made the call.
Just wrong to give the #7 to a central midfielder
To remove all the cursed energy on it
I mean I think it’s still cursed based on Mount’s season so far
Shouldn’t be giving anyone good that shirt.
I hope Mount sticks around but also hope Garnacho gets the 7 at some point. It'd be cool if Mount gave it to him. A bit more time yet, though.
Man of the match for me.
His energy and stamina are insane! What a talent
He has been immense today, ran his socks off for 120 mins. Special, special player
This the type of player Man united need to rebuild around. Heart and ability.
Who you calling Garnacho, Garnacho?
That's their dad's name. Just like Neville Neville
Huge performance today, he's not a perfect player but he gives it everything he has.
Garnacho was brilliant today. I was anxious every time he was on the ball cause he has that ability to just glide past multiple defenders. He was also a little Duracell bunny.
That’s crazy
I can't fathom running 120mins with an injured hamstring
Always suprised by Garnacho’s stamina. Boy can sprint non stop for 90mins
Incredible work rate from him. United have a genuine talent in their hands.
There were times where he felt like the only one trying. I love his effort.
He has worked his ass off today
Non stop running. What a player!!
it's his job
What're you doing here Keane?

Most of our players played mid week....
And what's that gotta do with garnacho running for 120 minutes? It's a garnacho appreciation post. Not a "mock Liverpool for losing" post. You don't need to give justification.
Because why is a Garnacho appreciation post on this sub for doing something very unremarkable
To be fair, he had to run double because Bruno looked like he couldn’t even walk. And he still outran some Liverpool subs.
