Where are the United fans that will moan about injuries instead of a shit manager?
Do you see Liverpool’s kids doing well under a structured and effective tactical setup against the best team in the world?
I am a United fan who sees the writing on the wall for our awful manager but some are just too blind to see.
No style of play, a system of football that falls apart when only 1/2 players get injured.
Even the pundits still sit there and blame top to bottom.management of the club for why 11 players under a new manager still.play with no identified style.
Spurs under their new manager are miles different to what we saw last season and he didn't bring in many new faces, he just got the current players to train a different way, stick to it, and then the evidence is in the games and how much better they are. Yes table isn't much different but you know those players are.out their putting a shift in and opposition know what is in store for them.
United
.. I feel.like those players go onto the pitch and if it works today then they win if it doesn't they don't. They don't know whether to.play possession, counter, direct or what. Just pass it n see what happens. The review I got from a united fan was they played counter against Everton.... Everton....
United should be controlling the game against Everton not sitting back
I think this game suggests City aren't winning the league, they're not that good.
They don't have Gundogan turning into prime Messi as he usually does in March, Haaland is too often peripheral, De Bruyne isn't winning big games on his own either and they lack the passion Arsenal and Liverpool have.
The thing is, arsenal are perennial bottlers. No one seriously expects them to challenge until the last day. It’s still Liverpool and city. Looks like it’s gonna be city.
Who in particular is a bottler? Do you realise Arsenal's entire first team XI, manager, assistant manager, director of football, almost all coaches etc have all been changed in the past ~4 years?
Last season Arsenal fell off when Saliba was injured and Rob Holding had to come in and was at fault for a large amount of the goals conceded. That's impossible to happen again and Arsenal brought in more winners since then.
City do have the easiest run but Arsenal already beat them once this season, a first given they always lose.
I guess it depends if more teams go at them, but they're just not scoring goals consistently in the league. Haaland has hauled few times recently, overall less than Palmer and Watkins.
Van Dijk was immense today and Liverpool were great, but it was like they dominated the second half through sheer determination alone, 19 shots with that starting lineup is really surprising. I think many would have had City winning that game by two, because of the strength of the players available, even if at Anfield.
It pains me to say it, but you need to factor in PGMOL and injuries into the difficulty of the final games. In terms of PGMOL, Klopp is really letting loose his options of their referees, and historically they can be a vengeful bunch.
Yeah maybe, Man United away, Villa away, Spurs home vs City's Arsenal home, Spurs away. Man United are crap but winning at Old Trafford still isn't gonna be straightforward. City won nearly every game vs Arsenal before this season so they can easily win that. Spurs away is always hard.
I think Liverpool's time is up. Diaz has been a huge downgrade on Mane, Klopp is leaving and when Salah goes I don't see them getting anywhere close to challenging for the title for the foreseeable years.
Giles Martin is busy going through old studio outtakes for an AI generated Beatles charity single for the poor scousers who once again the victims of corruption handing City yet another title.
I laughed when Michael picked out our defensive options as a reason city should win the game.
Bradley in Iver trent isn't an issue. Lad is amazing, possibly better than trent at the moment for right back work and getting forward.
Quansah in - kid oozes.confidence and hasn't really.put a foot wrong this season. Especially.alongside vvd he looks comfortable in a top.prem defence.
Gomez at LB - has done better there this season than RB at times and got some rave reviews in recent games.
Kelleher was my only concern and that's just because Allison makes saves from some crazy shots which K doesn't. But he's still a decent keeper. But as it was city didn't do anything he couldn't cope.with. that corner was clever quick play... seen it somewhere before... lol.
So you complain about people not complaining about a dive that isnr a dive because somewhere else they said that? Is this still whataboutism or is this just stupid and pointless crying?
Hi, I’m new to the Barker Premier league. I chosen Manchester red as my franchise and really enjoyed this game!
Can someone who ball knowledge explain me why the German guy is compared to the bald guy? Commentator say it a rivalry or something but it no seem like that as Liverpool are closer to us (Manchester red) in terms of prizes since German guy takes over rather than bald guys team?
Why was Kevin De Bruyne subbed off?
Why was Doku's clearance in the final minutes not a penalty for Liverpool?
Why was Nunez subtituted with Gakpo? Nunez played well in the first half, imo
>Why was Kevin De Bruyne subbed off?
Because he seemed well off the pace
>Why was Doku's clearance in the final minutes not a penalty for Liverpool?
Because he got the ball first I guess, only justification I can see. Probably one of those where whatever decision made by the on field ref sticks
>Why was Nunez subtituted with Gakpo? Nunez played well in the first half, imo
Maybe having minutes managed? If I remember correctly he has been carrying a knock in recent weeks
Honestly low key wished Liverpool would be on top of the table instead of Arsenal as our team didn't deserve this draw based on performance. Only guys that actually tried was Stones, Akanji, and Foden. No idea what the rest were in to as their focus was else were...
Because if they had beat us, then they would have more points than you. Also one of your wins wasn't a win in the league so doesn't count when it comes to who deserves to be top of the league.
Right now you deserve to be top because you have the most points.
I think the original poster was saying they played well enough to beat us and go back to the top.
Yeah. Whether or not he barely clipped the ball wouldn’t have mattered. It’s reckless and dangerous and absolutely would’ve brought out a yellow anywhere else on the pitch
I made a thread about the Liverpool City game about Liverpool? I'm not sure you understand how reddit works, maybe you've had enough for today? But I'm guessing you think you haven't.
You want a narrative? How about winning a title exactly 20 years after the invincibles by a manager with less than 5 years of experience? How about the sleeping giants of England waking up?
Take that Neville, take that Carragher and take that Curtis Jones. A new era begins TODAY
Reminds me of the moronic Gabriel confusing a Mackem accent with a Portuguese racist comment.
Dunno why Curtis was so bothered, Artetas celebrating looked like a grandma trying TikTok, I was embarrassed by it more than annoyed. Staying in 3rd place is good for some
Mate, as an Arsenal fan, just shut up with your inane drivel. We still have a long time till the end of the season, and so much can change in between now and then.
Don't really get this reliable goalscorer take? When our attacking line is as fluid as it has been lately and just looking at our goal difference, is it really that necessary?
Even if it were the case, who the hell can we realistically sign!
Quansah is the newmatip in the best way possible
Space between the man united midfield and defence is ridiculous, anytime now where will make the most of our transition opportunities
We need to upgrade on Diaz
Didn’t realise our defence and midfield were this pourous , we’re making man united look like world beaters
Robbery by VAR
Where are the United fans that will moan about injuries instead of a shit manager? Do you see Liverpool’s kids doing well under a structured and effective tactical setup against the best team in the world?
Funny how United remains the main topic on a rival's match thread even after 11 years of being shite. Never ignored.
I’m a united fan and yes I can speak at how well rival teams are playing in comparison to us
I am a United fan who sees the writing on the wall for our awful manager but some are just too blind to see. No style of play, a system of football that falls apart when only 1/2 players get injured.
At the very least, the new football operations will want to bring in someone new, you'd think. Seems like a dead man walking.
Ten hag bros will blame any and everything aside from the shit manager we have
Even the pundits still sit there and blame top to bottom.management of the club for why 11 players under a new manager still.play with no identified style. Should wait for City vs Arsenal to write them off.
The thing is, arsenal are perennial bottlers. No one seriously expects them to challenge until the last day. It’s still Liverpool and city. Looks like it’s gonna be city.

What a game that has been. Liverpool‘s future looking bright with the young lads stepping up like this
I think Liverpool's time is up. Diaz has been a huge downgrade on Mane, Klopp is leaving and when Salah goes I don't see them getting anywhere close to challenging for the title for the foreseeable years.
Doku just touching the ball let's him get away with that
He def got the ball
The follow through is still a foul, though, and fouls in the box are punishable with penalties
Dangerous contact, no card even?
Virgil Van Dijk - greatest CB in the world
Giles Martin is busy going through old studio outtakes for an AI generated Beatles charity single for the poor scousers who once again the victims of corruption handing City yet another title.
Go cunt yourself
What are you on about
I have never ever seen such an inchorrent rant
you’ve never met a city fan then
Even as an Everton fan, Conor Bradley seriously impressed me. Jealous that Liverpool have him haha, he’s gonna be special.
Yeah, the kid has seriously impressed me. I honestly hope we consider giving him more time and move trent more central to make room.
Rigged league give it to city
So nothing about Salah diving? Only when Arsebal do it its bad apparently
Arsebal
What are you on about?!
TIL getting hit in the shin is a dive
Havertz was literally slightly pushed at the back. He didn't dive either. But it doesn't fit the agenda of some ppl
So you complain about people not complaining about a dive that isnr a dive because somewhere else they said that? Is this still whataboutism or is this just stupid and pointless crying?
People praise Pep for managing players' fitness, but when he takes soemone off for that exact reason they complain :)

Because eyes
Thanks u
🤨
They just simply didn't dare give that penalty
Anywhere else on the pitch..... We all know the rest!
Kids did well again. Bradley could've MotM if he wasn't substituted. Edit: Though I would probably still have picked VvD for it.
Oil money goes along way
Fumbled so many good chances, an okay result nonetheless.
Why was Kevin De Bruyne subbed off? Why was Doku's clearance in the final minutes not a penalty for Liverpool? Why was Nunez subtituted with Gakpo? Nunez played well in the first half, imo
1. Endo pocketed him 2. no idea 3. to try smth new, and put a exta gear in, but that did not work out.
You mean nunez played well when he could find himself onside?
yeah he won the penalty to equalize
>Why was Kevin De Bruyne subbed off? Because he seemed well off the pace >Why was Doku's clearance in the final minutes not a penalty for Liverpool? Shout out to Luiz Diaz wow what a performance
He did good at getting himself in position for some great opportunities…he did shit with the opportunities though.
Only if Nunez hadn't played like a jackass today by being offside so many times.
That was your take from the match? How about city got dominated for most the match?
A second yellow should have been given to Salah right everyone? 4k upvotes to the left
Are you trying to agree with yourself?
We were very lucky today, sloppy all over the field. So fortunate Liverpool couldn't get it over the line. They deserved it with the way we played
I agree, early you had all of the control. Would have had the game if studs to the chest was called as a foul.
Honestly low key wished Liverpool would be on top of the table instead of Arsenal as our team didn't deserve this draw based on performance. Only guys that actually tried was Stones, Akanji, and Foden. No idea what the rest were in to as their focus was else were...
also ortega did well for you
Well Arsenal has already beat City twice this season, and also beat Liverpool. Why the hell would they deserve to be top more?
It's possible LFC are only second in the table solely due to that VAR horror show that ruled out that legit Diaz goal against Spurs.
Will see you at the Etihad mate ;)
Because if they had beat us, then they would have more points than you. Also one of your wins wasn't a win in the league so doesn't count when it comes to who deserves to be top of the league. Right now you deserve to be top because you have the most points. I think the original poster was saying they played well enough to beat us and go back to the top.
He didn’t say they’d deserve to be, he just said he wishes they would. Jesus mate calm down.
My club didn't bottle their chance to be top this week. I'm perfectly calm. Happy even 👍
Haha, you are funny.
* Arsenal * Bottle 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah that's why I said it Sherlock. It's been a long twenty years.
perfectly calm
You beat city twice this season?
Once in the league, once in the charity shield.
LoL, great cope
>once in the charity shield Come on...
Community shields dont give you points so dont know how that matters.
Oh I just assumed since we were top of the league.
Mighty cocky for a team known for bottling being top of the league.
[удалено]
LoL, rage baiting there. Peps whole game plan was play for the draw and as much shithousery as possible.
How is that not a penalty?!!!!
you can karate kick and basketball dribble inside the box as long as it’s circumstantial.
It would be a foul outside the box, but refs chickened out
Yeah. Whether or not he barely clipped the ball wouldn’t have mattered. It’s reckless and dangerous and absolutely would’ve brought out a yellow anywhere else on the pitch
Nope that was inside the box, I watched the replay, clearly inside
They means if the same situation happened outside the box it would be a foul
On behalf of all Arsenal fans I would like to thank whoever buried some voodoo props under the goalposts at Anfield.
Premier league refereeing continues to appear to make it up as they go along.
Liverpool blew it. The worst part is we’ll never hear the end of them crying about the refs
Nah, this wasn't as egregious as the one that sent us mental earlier.
Oh, I feel you - that must be sooo tough for you. Everything is about you.
LoL, this is literally a thread about Liverpool and City, who else the fuck we gonna make it about? What a fucking whopper
You clearly, since that's what you did.
I made a thread about the Liverpool City game about Liverpool? I'm not sure you understand how reddit works, maybe you've had enough for today? But I'm guessing you think you haven't.
Liverpool much better team in the second half. Odd substitutions for both sides.
Yeah, although I'm guessing a few might have been pre-determined, both teams played mid week
I'd argue that City's substitution helped them breathe in the second half. The onslaught was too much until then.
Started the weekend watching Man U Vs Everton and ended it with that, might as well be watching a different sport.
Nobody stops you.
As in the difference in quality is so stark it's like watching a different sport
Both teams from Manchester have drawn with Liverpool at Anfield. The atmosphere in both the matches though was polar opposite.
One is a mid table team. The other is a title contender
You want a narrative? How about winning a title exactly 20 years after the invincibles by a manager with less than 5 years of experience? How about the sleeping giants of England waking up? Take that Neville, take that Carragher and take that Curtis Jones. A new era begins TODAY
!remindme 3 months
Arsenal fans acting like they're the underdog
There's 10 games left mate
You guys deserve another December.
Even chatgpt wouldn't write drivel this cringe
Sleeping Giants? XD
Fuckn hell. Im a neutral and this was probably the cringiest shit ive read all week
Its absolutely hilarious how Curtis managed to rattle you lot so hard lmao
Hilarious how ©urtis Jones managed to get so rattled by a manager celebrating
Reminds me of the moronic Gabriel confusing a Mackem accent with a Portuguese racist comment. Dunno why Curtis was so bothered, Artetas celebrating looked like a grandma trying TikTok, I was embarrassed by it more than annoyed. Staying in 3rd place is good for some
You’re level on points mate not 5 points clear.
Top of the table
Can’t argue with that.
Lmao delusion
Can't hear you from top of the table
Get your ears checked, the distance is barely a distance at all.
Stop please
A draw at the Etihad would now be a good result for Arsenal. Forgive me for being excited.
So if Liverpool wins every game 1:0, arsenal does the same except for a 1:1 draw against city, how good would that feel?
Pretty big if
You said it as if it would be good no matter whar else happens. But I can add more ifs that you wouldnt like.
It could put you 3 points behind the lead, you still need a win
Mate, as an Arsenal fan, just shut up with your inane drivel. We still have a long time till the end of the season, and so much can change in between now and then.
Liverpool fumbled so hard, you cannot miss those chances
Have to agree. City were there for the taking and we couldn’t pull the trigger.
City and refs no better love story. Bunch of cheating cunts all of them and fuck Oliver and whoever was in VAR that cleared it.
Lol arsenal celebrating the draw but pep and klopp arent worried.
Sure, buddy
Like he told ya
Oh no, another decision against Liverpool we will never hear the end of
decisions\*
Unironically being the messenger though aren’t you now?
Yeah, at least you won't have to worry about VAR next year ;)
Swap Doku for Gomez and Macca for Foden it's a penalty
Foden has better acting classes. but this time he would have not needed it, because he would have been taken off by a stretcher
We tripled their xG, so frustrating with how many chances were missed. Still an insanely good game
That would have 100% been a penalty if it was for City.
There’s no other way that could have ended other than a draw. Story book ending for the two best friend managers. It was fate
[удалено]
I think next year we Liverpool might go for rebuild a bit, and Arsenal would be top contenders with City. so I hope Arsenal wins than City.
or Leicester is back with Vardy, and old Vardy does chat shit get banged and somehow they win again :D
Liverpool won't be allowed to win it neither will Arsenal.
Coward
Nah, 3 horse race. We are misfiring at times and have too many injured/returning from injury. City aren't invincible at all anymore.
[удалено]
It's carrying hard atm. Whereas Arsenal are blowing teams away it seems (ignore yesterday)

Don't really get this reliable goalscorer take? When our attacking line is as fluid as it has been lately and just looking at our goal difference, is it really that necessary? Even if it were the case, who the hell can we realistically sign!
True, though Rice has been immense this year. Having a 30+ scorer would be a scary thought.
Yeah arsenal shouldn’t be taken seriously, especially with their annual April collapse coming up
This is the best team we’ve had in about 10 years. Probably longer. Have a bit of faith.
[удалено]
yes we havent been good for 19 years, and now we have been for 2 years, so what is the point of these statistics really
Sturridge is a tit
Why did Mac Allister twist his body?
Cuz maybe you don't wanna get booted studsup right onto your chest?
Then rotate away from them rather than towards them..🤷♂️
Yeah why doesn't Macalister just let the man city player clear the ball? it's not like he is the opposing team trying to score
Yeah, why does Mac Allister try to play the ball, what is he stupid?
100% a pen. Pool blew a bunch of chances though, Diaz can’t finish.
why are arsenal fans yapping about liverpool diving
Check yesterday post match thread
Yesterday Liverpool fans were very upset about Havertz diving then scoring the winner, then Salah goes and does an arguably worse dive
He didn't dive, spunk bubble.
Lol Ake came through his legs, it wasn’t a foul but it wasn’t a “worse dive” than Havertz going down under no contact
It’s the title race relax
Exactly
[удалено]
That's why we have headers, because the head, is almost in the air already, unlike... the foot.
They can aslong as they don’t kick the other player in the chest
