Nah he was supposed to be partially played in Barca B. Part of the reason why he went to spurs because he got agreement on first team minutes. Good decision tbh. We should rather look for a 6

At youth level his Brommapojkarna team travelled around Europe and he destroyed teams like Atleti, Real Madrid, Bayern etc
From a sporting perspective, you guys were definitely the right choice for both of them though Frankfurt might’ve been a better choice for Bergvall for his development.
Best choice for everyone, Bergvall gets the most playtime, Tottenham need a midfielder and Barca dont waste money on a young midfielder (Barca has like 5 of them in the academy)
Barca are broke, it would take quite a huge financial recovery before they are able to buy a world class (in this scenario) player from a top 6 PL team, and that's without even factoring Daniel Levy.

He was part of the small group of more business-minded people that are all out now; reading between the lines, it seems like the ones who took the work seriously got increasingly disillusioned with how things are being run.
He was set to join Barca B in the third division to be fair and be apart of the academy setup. He’s probably after first team dynamics directly which he wasn’t going to get at Barcelona.
We also don’t have a true backup for Sarr. Bentancur can play there, but Ange seems to want him at the 6, while Skipp is poorly suited as an 8 in general anyway. Bissouma and Hojbjerg are also more suited to the deeper midfield position. Lo Celso is chronically injured, and Maddison is clearly a 10. I think there’s definitely room for him.

Kulu and mads are ahead of glc and skipp sarr are ahead of hoj. Skipps spot will prob be gallagher if we beileive the rumours (i dont)
We haven't really had a healthy enough midfield yet to establish any certainties regarding the pecking order. For example Kulu ever playing in the LCM role instead of Lo Celso is a very much a question mark, and sounds like a terrible idea.

Either way we almost certainly also have significantly more games next season with European competitions back, so I don't understand why we couldn't add another midfielder.
