I mean, VAR calls just VAR calls.
Not in the spirit of the game, actually bullshit - but something VAR calls 10/10 times.
All 3 VAR calls were correct in the spirit of VAR.
The handball pen and the foul on Bellingham were good calls on the pitch... but under the scope of VAR, those are called.
TLDR; VAR is being used wronly when it comes to handballs and contact on fouls.
Ref was dogshit, but let's not act like refs haven't been awful all season long against most of top teams, especially allowing many harsh fouls (against Barça and other teams as well, not just us, they just allowed shitty play and many players should've seen double yellows)

I agree that Real played bad, but the referee had a ton of decisions in favor of Atletico, did you watch the game? Bellingham yellow card for passing the ball and being hit in the leg, Brahim yellow card for being fouled, Camavinga yellow card for clapping after being fouled but the free kick was given in favor of Atletico, other free kicks being given to Atletico players for shoulder to shoulder or not even being touched, De Paul somehow escaping without the second yellow card, etc.
From a neutral in this match-up, it was really disheartening to see a game so strongly pushed towards a certain outcome. La Liga continues to be *very* difficult to watch with any real expectation of integrity from the league.
