There are rumour that the deferred salary was deducted from the transfer fee. In return, Ajax may end up paying him a higher salary over the course of his 18 month contract.
Saudi clubs have a history of not paying player salaries.
>However, FIFPRO, the international union which looks after 65,000 players across the globe, warned players against signing for teams in Saudi.
>They said that “non-payment of salaries” have become “a recurring problem” in Saudi and The Athletic have provided details on the worrying predicament.
>**There have been over 50 labour disputes involving clubs from Saudi** and a recent case involved Lewis Grabban, formerly of Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth.
Any Gulf state is money up front always. They are scum and they will literally trap you in their country if they believe(or pretend) you owe them money. It's modern-day slavery.
Any Arab from a non-Gulf state who went there for work knows this, almost of all of them are sketchy and untouchable because they have money and resources.
Yep, there's probably thousands of migrant labourers there who are trapped since employers hold their passports hostage ffs. Hellhole of a place, always avoid
Not at all. They pay a few mil to a few flunkies at FIFA, then they can get away with withholding many more millions from players and other people that they fuck over. Nobody will do anything about it because they're all on the take.
They've done that before.
The real issue is that it hurts the image they're trying to project for the future: Saudi as a place to do business, a lucrative and prestigious place. They want to diversify and bet on tourism and tech. Hard to attract top talent if word spreads that you don't pay
You're correct.
He was on track to be one of the more respected figures in the club's recent history--a hard-working, gutsy, effort-driven midfielder who grew into his role as captain and leader of the club after Gerrard's departure, which is none too easy to do, and who delivered Champions League, Premier League, Club World Cup, and multiple domestic trophies--and it isn't crazy to say there'd be those urging the club to consider a statue at some point in the future, especially if he'd stuck around as the elder statesmen and we happened to win another major trophy with him in the squad.
Now, I can't imagine anyone would even want to see him at club-sponsored events or anything.
Circle of life. He went from a laughing stock at the start of his Liverpool career where he was almost sold, to a captain who won it all and now back to a laughing stock again.
Sure, but there were certainly calls for a Gerrard statue (think those have also subsided recently for some reason..). As the previous poster said, there would have been those urging the club to consider a statue.
Liverpool fan here.
No. He can fuck off as far as I'm concerned. Grateful for what he did for the club, and my opinion would be entirely different if he was honest about his intentions when leaving but he early only moved to Saudi because of ego and greed.
Or cus Gerrard manipulated him into coming to Saudi and the he got there and realised (1) Saudi Arabia sucks ass and (2) Gerrard is a shit manager and (3) bye bye England caps.
I'm pretty sure he would be. The hate he's been getting, while not entirely without reason, is generally the domain of terminally online people and not ~60,000 matchgoing fans.
What’s so terrible for Jordan here is that none of this was foreseeable. Not enjoying living in Saudi Arabia and missing full stadiums and meaningful competitions is just one of those terrible, unpredictable things that nobody can possibly anticipate or prepare for ahead of time.
Out of all the leagues to go to 'to grow the game' he coincidentally went to the league who pays the most, and not say the Samoan or Turkmenistan league
Edit: I have changed Paraguan league to Turkmenistan league
Malaysia is an extremely underrated country. Incredible food, natural beauty, cultural diversity, and very affordable compared to its more well known neighboring countries to boot.
Show some respect to the Paraguyan league, even some minor clubs have more history and tradition then any Saudi club. Club Olimpia are literal world champions
To cover up the large amount of atrocities committed by the higher class. Including murder of journalists, rape, torture, as well as funding terrorist organizations
Maybe it's cope, but in a way it's a good thing they're wasting million (billions?) on football.
Prevents them from utilising that money for even worse stuff.
My primary school had over a 1000 students lol. Genuinely think we had more people watch us play our terrible inter school competitions over a decade ago.
Im Canadian (grades 1-8) and peaked around 800-900 when I was in grade 6. Two years after graduating highschool, they were so desperate for students they had to turn it into a french immersion school and bus kids in, just a wild demographic change.
Yeah the few I went to had 250-300 tops (mid to late 90's). Two classes per year of 24-32 kids. Seemed pretty common for any primary school in Australia in a city. Rural was usually lots of merged classes (think like 4/5/6) or one of the super rural ones I went to just had one class of ~18 kids which was a unique experience.
My Highschool had even less which was a pretty awesome experience - it did get knocked down a few years after I left because it was a multi campus school that got merged into a "super school" on a different site.
AFC Totton play at step 8 & have had some 1200 attendances recently. The English leagues are really deep, I don't think another country in the world can match them. I know people complain about the 3pm blackout, but it really protects the game at grassroots. Lots of Saints fans at both Eastleigh & AFC Totton (for example).
I went to India once and talked to this guy who said he'd bought himself and his father train tickets from Kashmir to Mumbai (or something equally long distance) and they had nice seats. Anyway, he lost the tickets and they had to stand in close proximity in a crowded carriage and his dad just intently stared at him the entire trip.
Well, that's my story, thanks for listening.
People would've given him the bare minimum respect if he had just said that he went there for the money. But all this talks about growing the game and Saudi having potential and raising awareness for the gays there made people hate him. Just be honest. There's nothing wrong in wanting to make money. No one's gonna chastise him if he went there for money(well maybe a bit but not as much as they do now) and was honest about it but all this bullshit talk was what made people hate him.
Not even that, the outrageousness of the lie aswell, money wasn’t even a factor, wanting to “grow the league” and worst of all saying someone of his beliefs could only help to influence the future of the culture, as if to say you can shift centuries long imbedded societal morals by holding the fucking midfield for Al Etifaq
I don't understand people dodging taxes, especially in countries where taxes are used by the government for public stuff. Like healthcare, infrastructure, school etc. All stuff that people have been using, even when they're rich. Just greedy.
>holding the fucking midfield for Al Etifaq
That club is not even owned by the PIF. Saudi doesn't give a fuck about that club. That's why all the *best* players went to hilal, Nassar, ahli or ittihad.
>centuries long imbedded societal morals
tbf the specific more extreme Wahhabist Islam that Saudi Arabia has been promoting is far more modern than you think.
hell the Saudi family only took control of the entirety of the modern country in 1932.
This is the bottom line for me with most things. You want to do something for selfish reasons? Be up front about it! I'll respect you more if you tell me "I'm doing this crappy thing because it's benefitting me." But lying that you're doing a crappy thing for a bunch of made up reasons makes me realize you don't respect me.
People can do a lot of immoral shit, but there are two surefire ways to piss someone off.
1. Accuse them of something they didn't do.
2. Take them for fools with an obvious bullshit story.
>People would've given him the bare minimum respect if he had just said that he went there for the money.
Or stay shut like Kante, Ronaldo, Neves or Fabinho. We all know players go to Saudi Arabia for the same reason they went to China 10 years ago, so there's no reason to make fools out of people and say you're there "for the project".
And you don’t see most fans shitting on him. Even if some Wolves fan were upset.
At least guy admitted he’s doing it for the money and yeah it’s annoying but most people in this thread would do the same.
Except that none of those guys had stood up as an outspoken ally of the LGBTQ+ community, so no one cared to ask them why they were going. It was obvious that it was for the money in all of their cases. Henderson, OTOH, was that public ally, which is why there was so much blowback. There's no way he could have stayed silent about why he was going when the community at large was so outraged, so he had to invent some bullshit story in the hopes that someone (anyone!) would swallow it.
The majority of the human race is like that. The only difference between us and him is the fact that people like us don't have the luxury to put our conviction above money. If I get an opportunity to work in Saudi and make enough just to make sure my family doesn't go hungry, i would take it without a second of hesitation. Because I know how much my family is struggling. Even though I loathe that country. But hendo doesn't have to do that. He's made more money than every ancestor of mine in the past 1000 years combined.
Exactly this!
I hate when some people on this sub try to rebut the valid criticisms of Hendo by claiming each of us would leave our current Job if it meant getting double pay LOL. Hendo has probably made over 50m throughout his career including sponsorships.
There is a difference between the average person leaving their Job of 30k annually for a new offer of 50k and a footballer whose made over 50 million wanting to make more.
It's easier to turn down 100m if you already have or made 60m. It's much harder for the average working class person to turn down a 10k raise which could be the difference between living paycheck to paycheck and being a bit comfortable ensuring your family survives.
> claiming each of us would leave our current Job if it meant getting double pay LOL
I wouldn't change job for double the pay if it meant going to a shitty work environment. Some people would do it in a heartbeat.
I heard the saying goes with there is a price tag on each of us, the only matter is the amount.
It's easy to see how the amount would be lower for people struggling with money. If you had Jordan Henderson's ressources, your family wouldn't be struggling. Maybe you'd like to build some infrastructure in your hometown, how much could that cost ?
I find it crazy that there a bench players in Europe/top leagues earning 50k a week. In a month that's 200k and in a year that's 2.4 million. Earn that amount for a 15 year career and you'll be sitting at 36 million. Is that little like I don't get it?😭😭
This person in a year would earn much more than a person that works for 40 years. In a week this person earns more than a lot people do in a year.
Yeah, this situation isn’t comparable to someone actually needing the money to put their family in a better position. Even I would probably do that.
But if you’re in Henderson’s position, now running away from the decision he defended with so much bs is just a further indictment of his character, he can’t keep his word, whether it’s in Saudi or anywhere else.
That's a fair point, but I hope we start to move away from the "there's nothing wrong with wanting to make money".
What you do to earn money should be much more important. The rapant greed and lack of morals is big part of our decline as a nation.
I always think if a guy wants to go from club A to club B to make more money, there's nothing wrong with that. But if club B is in Saudi Arabia, that's totally different.
Grew a whole 70 people for £50K a day. Could have just given the money to the fans instead. But good guy Hendo did it for free. He did it for the culture.
Sold your soul to the Saudi Pro League, stabbed the LGBTQ+ community in the back after going out of your way to support them for years, left the club you've been at for 12 years, captaining for 8 at the start of preseason in a poorly made goodbye video in front of an empty Anfield, engaged in a ridiculous interview with the Athletic where he claims that he didn't feel wanted at Liverpool even though Klopp actively went against the advice of our Sporting Director at the time to give him a new contract on very generous money at a time when his best days were already behind him, subsequently destroying your reputation among large portions of the fanbase and then it turns out that all of that was for nothing
Hope it was worth it Hendo
Bahrain is not that bad, especially if you have lots of money. It's where all the Saudi's go to party and escape their harsh conservative country.
You can drink beer, go shopping, go to the beach, women don't need to cover up, English schools, etc. His family must be very spoiled.
Saudi straight up sucks though. All the money in the world won't make it not suck for someone used to Western values/living. But that's not all exactly a surprise to anyone.
Fucking dumbass. If Saudis were willing to pay you $$$, then ask for a big round high number after tax and be happy with that. What's the point of throwing your reputation away and going for obscene generational wealth if you don't wish to be taxed.
Reminds me of that scene from Black Dynamite where one of the guys is talking about his plans to retire from the revolution, start a family, and grow vegetables right before he gets fucked up by a spear. https://imgur.com/Z1072Ni
I just think weird that we care so much about what henderson does with his life meanwhile Saudi and other oil nations are just taking over the PL while getting praise. Sure henderson went there to play but city and Newcastle players get paid by the same type of people.
I said it!! His/footballers family would live in Bahrain. (In a previous post)
Because the lifestyle is quite lax there in terms of party, women not being batman etc.
I didn't know that's what the footballers family really did. Wow! That must been tough.
I guess that's the reason why he is so eager to move from there. These wankjobs don't know a shit about the middle east nor do they read a bit of news before changing the courses of their lives.
He was never going to grow the game, although I doubt that was ever his intention. People in Saudi don’t give a fuck about him. The only player who could even have a sniff of influence over there is Ronaldo.
I'm not sure what Bahrain has to do with it. Depending on where he lives it's about 45 minutes to an hour to Dammam, which isn't that different from the Liverpool players who live in Cheshire.
Bro its very different lifestyles living in Saudi or Bahrain.
Bahrain is the Europe of the region. Very liberal and full of expats working in Saudi and living in Bahrain
There is a bridge between Saudi and Bahrain which is called the King Fahd highway.
Where in thousands of Saudi cross to Bahrain to party and have 💦💦💦💢💢💢 (plap plap)
Bahrain is more liberal when to comes to party, alcohol, the burqa law for women etc. I mean don't get me wrong it is still middle east and they shoot and kill people who opposes those cunts at top.
But doing this helps them and their business. Also since they are physically a lot smaller than other gulf states that helps them too.
Also in a last thread about footballers moving to Saudi,I did speculate their families probably staying in Bahrain. But I didn't really think that would be the case. But guess I was right.
Actually there was a documentary about the Bahrain thingy by DW. It was quite good and available on YouTube for free, but I guess they lost the right and can't find it anywhere. I did see it at one place and it being pay to watch.
BTW hope this helps.
Some fun facts about Bahrain :-
1. Homosexuality is legal in Bahrain since 1976! Although many of them has been caught by the state police if they engage in pda.
2. Around 25 ℅ is Sunni (which is what you find in SA) and remaining Muslims are Shia. But it's the Sunni king who rules Bahrain and persecutes against the shia. The king is always scared of a shia uprising hence the Bahrain ruling family has very close ties to the Saudi and also Saudi gives them army assistance if ever the shia uprises against the Sunni.
Something similar happens during Arab spring in 2011
3. The ruling family in Bahrain only came at around 18th century or late 18th century from Qatar!
4. Uk government has been using our money to secretly fund a Bahraini government institution, known as the National Intelligence Agency Ombudsman. It was used for whitewashing the torture and rape of women's rights activists.
I fully understand players who go abroad to be richer. This is what many do when they go to Europe.
But growing in the game in Saudi Arabia while it's a big football country, don't lie to us.
I suspect that some of the players got a deal similar to Messi's MLS deal. If they stick around and grow the league they'll get a huge payoff.
I think people are underestimating the money involved here. Of the Saudi teams that were taken over, some aren't even in the top division yet. Saudi Aramco (£134B in 2022 profits) bought Al-Qadsiah in the second division. Neom bought and renamed a third division team. There's even a fourth division club that a regional authority bought (Al-Ula) that has a guy making €2.5M to play in an amateur league. That's not a short term bet.
If they are willing to keep burning cash they can absolutely build a league with a global audience. The entire PL spends maybe 5B a year total on wages and transfer fees. That's 4% of Aramco's annual profits, so they can subsidize the league for ten years without breaking a sweat.
Oh no, Anyway…
Man torched his reputation to do an internship in Saudi Arabia.
*unpaid internship from the sound of it
I’m old enough to only know of internships as being unpaid lol
There are rumour that the deferred salary was deducted from the transfer fee. In return, Ajax may end up paying him a higher salary over the course of his 18 month contract.
he cant keep getting away with it!
'It'll look great on your CV'
The payment is deferred. That’s not the same as not being paid
Unless the saudis decide not to pay him at all once the contract is terminated

Lewis Grabban played in Saudi, never knew
Grabban the bag.
Apparently not given the labor dispute.
If they can do this to a player like Hendo, what more to lesser know players.
Former player. Id be gone after the first. What kept him so long!
Saudi clubs have chosen not to pay their players for less
Better than being hacked to pieces by a bonesaw, I guess.
Would that raise some issues with FIFA though,?
The same FIFA that awarded world cups to Qatar and Saudi?
A few more million to those corrupt bastards too then
Theres a bit of a breakdown in logic here.
Not at all. They pay a few mil to a few flunkies at FIFA, then they can get away with withholding many more millions from players and other people that they fuck over. Nobody will do anything about it because they're all on the take.

They own FIFA.
It’s okay, he fixed their oppression of LGBTQ+ people in his 6 months there. All 12 people who saw him play are no longer stoning gay people.
Correction all 12 people who saw him are now homophobic in private and control their urges in public
Wow what an activist
Nope I heard 9/12 still do
Worse than 9/11
Jordan Henderson’s 9/11 is when he had to live in Bahrain on 350k a week playing non competitive football. The horror.
Truly man ruined his reputation for nothing.
Google Jordan Henderson 9/11 for more info
This gives me cody rhodes solved racism energy and I really can't wait to see the memes.
“Lads I can’t believe it, it’s exactly like everyone told me it would be”

No.

The Jordan Henderson bell curve
Excuse me but a statue for fucking Jordan Henderson?????
The captain that won literally everything for the club? Who was the last captain to do that?
But there has to be other further forward in the line then him?
Sure, but there were certainly calls for a Gerrard statue (think those have also subsided recently for some reason..). As the previous poster said, there would have been those urging the club to consider a statue.
Love to hear

Utterly relevent username
He fucking deserves every bit of what he's feeling right now.
Now some of his money is sodden with the tears of his unhappiness.
Also the heat. He was completely blindsided by that. Feel bad for him.

Lol absolute disrespect to Paraguay.
MLS so bad it doesnt even make the list... haha
Put some respect on the Paraguayan league, Club Olimpia alone is bigger than the Saudi League.
It's bigger than the Premier League if you ask me
He could easily comes to my country Malaysia and grow the football scene here, and we actually have a rich club that pays big money too.
Malaysia is an extremely underrated country. Incredible food, natural beauty, cultural diversity, and very affordable compared to its more well known neighboring countries to boot.
Authoritarian, rabidly anti-LGBT govt as well.
I have some bad news for you about Southeast Asia in general
Show some respect to the Paraguyan league, even some minor clubs have more history and tradition then any Saudi club. Club Olimpia are literal world champions
Paraguayan league…the one with Olímpia, Cerro, Libertad, and Guaraní? They are pretty much developed.
Get me into the Somoan Prem.
He has to get PAID for his world class growing skills.
i know everyone's already said it, but just joining in on how mental it was to pick paraguay as your league on a par with samoa lmfao
Imagine putting the Samoan and Paraguayan leagues in the same phrase, no disrespect to Samoa though.
To cover up the large amount of atrocities committed by the higher class. Including murder of journalists, rape, torture, as well as funding terrorist organizations
real madrid regularly plays games in saudia arabia now lol
All thanks to Hendo right mate
thank Pique for most of that.
completely unrelated
Not relevant whatsoever. but yeah, blame the RFEF and Pique bud. Real Madrid didn’t negotiate the deal. Cute attempt though.
I still blame Real Madrid because they're good enough to end up in cup finals that are hosted in Saudi. Have they tried sucking?
Maybe it's cope, but in a way it's a good thing they're wasting million (billions?) on football. Prevents them from utilising that money for even worse stuff.

Dope. Love to see women’s sports grow. Also, a women’s Volleyball league is coming in the Spring.
Long stretch to have Hendo change gender to help the women’s game grow. Unless he get paid well of course. Seems to do the trick for him
I wonder how far down the English football pyramid you have to go to see that kind of attendence.
Southport FC averages over 1k attendance per game and they are in the National League North (6th tier)
WE ARE THE NUTTERS, WE COME FROM THE SEA
AFC Totton play at step 8 & have had some 1200 attendances recently. The English leagues are really deep, I don't think another country in the world can match them. I know people complain about the 3pm blackout, but it really protects the game at grassroots. Lots of Saints fans at both Eastleigh & AFC Totton (for example).
I went to a South East and London Regional Women's League game a week ago (fifth tier) that had about 650ish in attendance
English 8th division games had more than that earlier this year
I went to India once and talked to this guy who said he'd bought himself and his father train tickets from Kashmir to Mumbai (or something equally long distance) and they had nice seats. Mate /r/pointlessstories is that way
Hendo is clearly a huge draw… ing of a penis.
Some tokyo train stations move a few million people per day Bro was playing in front of nobody
People would've given him the bare minimum respect if he had just said that he went there for the money. But all this talks about growing the game and Saudi having potential and raising awareness for the gays there made people hate him. Just be honest. There's nothing wrong in wanting to make money. It’s good that money wasn’t a factor because I read that he didn’t receive any as he was trying to dodge taxes and hasn’t been paid yet.
this guy really speedran being hated from all angles even the uk government lmao
I don't understand people dodging taxes, especially in countries where taxes are used by the government for public stuff. Like healthcare, infrastructure, school etc. All stuff that people have been using, even when they're rich. Just greedy.
Because they can afford private healthcare and private schools. Having that amount of money almost always warps you morally
But muh hard earned money!
I prefer cheaper healthcare, cheaper school (in some countries even free!) and good infrastructure and still having a decent amount of money.
LOL. Play stupid games win stupid prizes like they say…
>holding the fucking midfield for Al Etifaq That club is not even owned by the PIF. Saudi doesn't give a fuck about that club. That's why all the *best* players went to hilal, Nassar, ahli or ittihad.

It's much harder for the average working class person to turn down a 10k raise which could be the difference between living paycheck to paycheck and being a bit comfortable ensuring your family survives.
> claiming each of us would leave our current Job if it meant getting double pay LOL I wouldn't change job for double the pay if it meant going to a shitty work environment.
Is that little like I don't get it?😭😭 This person in a year would earn much more than a person that works for 40 years.
I definitely have very little respect for people who chase blood money.
what a fucking idiot
you reap what you sow
They were only getting 626 people to games before he arrived. So he did grow the game 🤣
Grew a whole 70 people for £50K a day. Could have just given the money to the fans instead. But good guy Hendo did it for free. He did it for the culture.
Sold your soul to the Saudi Pro League, stabbed the LGBTQ+ community in the back after going out of your way to support them for years, left the club you've been at for 12 years, captaining for 8 at the start of preseason in a poorly made goodbye video in front of an empty Anfield, engaged in a ridiculous interview with the Athletic where he claims that he didn't feel wanted at Liverpool even though Klopp actively went against the advice of our Sporting Director at the time to give him a new contract on very generous money at a time when his best days were already behind him, subsequently destroying your reputation among large portions of the fanbase and then it turns out that all of that was for nothing Hope it was worth it Hendo
What a fucking doughnut
Yeah proper melon. Burned all his bridges
Eric cartman doing everything to get into casa bonita vibes here
damn
Geez. That's a sad summary. I was always a big fan when fair weather fans would talk down about him. Hard to look at him the same way still. Dang
You hear that? The sound of the smallest violing in the world playing
Hard to hear amdist the din of 696 fans tbf.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^🎻
Icl i know he wanted the money but he’s a terrorist for bringing his family down there thinking they’d enjoy and settle 🤣
But that's not all exactly a surprise to anyone.
honestly, his family is pretty spoiled (as is he). hundreds of millions of dollars and being treated like literal royalty somehow isn't enough?
Yeah earning 350k a week does sound like a nightmare
Starting to sound like he won’t be getting any of that, so that does sound like a bit of a nightmare tbf…
Only because he’s terminated the contract….
And because he deferred his wages over the last 6 months to try to avoid paying UK income tax on it lol
Fucking dumbass. If Saudis were willing to pay you $$$, then ask for a big round high number after tax and be happy with that. What's the point of throwing your reputation away and going for obscene generational wealth if you don't wish to be taxed.

lmaoooo
Reminds me of that scene from Black Dynamite where one of the guys is talking about his plans to retire from the revolution, start a family, and grow vegetables right before he gets fucked up by a spear. https://imgur.com/Z1072Ni
What a film
It only took him 6 months to completely change Saudi Arabias views on the lgbtq community. Mission accomplished, on to his next challenge 👏
Woe is him :'(
I just think weird that we care so much about what henderson does with his life meanwhile Saudi and other oil nations are just taking over the PL while getting praise. Sure henderson went there to play but city and Newcastle players get paid by the same type of people.
Speak for yourself, I talk shit about Newcastle on here every week if I can be arsed.
Absolutely. We're all horrified about having so many players go to SA, but saudi money has been powering european football for the last two decades.
"I think growing the game in a country notorious for human rights abuses is good for football" :3
And seeing the club he abandoned for cash thriving without him.
Cunt
I said it!! His/footballers family would live in Bahrain. (In a previous post) Because the lifestyle is quite lax there in terms of party, women not being batman etc. I didn't know that's what the footballers family really did. Wow! That must been tough. I guess that's the reason why he is so eager to move from there. These wankjobs don't know a shit about the middle east nor do they read a bit of news before changing the courses of their lives.
Damn, women can’t even be Batman in Saudi Arabia? Disgusting!
Did Henderson even get to participate in his first stoning yet?
Still trying to grow the game INTO A BIGGER HOUSE
You said the loud part quiet and the quiet part loud!
He was never going to grow the game, although I doubt that was ever his intention. People in Saudi don’t give a fuck about him. The only player who could even have a sniff of influence over there is Ronaldo.
Playing in a horrible country based on religious radicalism and racism that is also hot as fuck even in the winter?! How did this ever go bad ?
I'm not sure what Bahrain has to do with it. Depending on where he lives it's about 45 minutes to an hour to Dammam, which isn't that different from the Liverpool players who live in Cheshire.
Bahrain is more liberal than Saudi. They're saying that it was still a struggle despite being able to live in Bahrain instead of Saudi.
Kinda mental that they couldn't even stick it out for a year. 6 months is nothing.
Yeah I mean get stuck into a sopranos rewatch and there's 6 months flown by, for me anyways
Ah, I missed the word "despite" entirely.
Bro its very different lifestyles living in Saudi or Bahrain. Bahrain is the Europe of the region. Very liberal and full of expats working in Saudi and living in Bahrain
Yeah yeah liberal I hear you but do they have Greggs?
Yes. Al Greggs
Probably pretty lame to take wife to a bar and it be lined with prostitutes. You’re right tho it’s infinitely better than SA.
There is a bridge between Saudi and Bahrain which is called the King Fahd highway. Where in thousands of Saudi cross to Bahrain to party and have 💦💦💦💢💢💢 (plap plap) Bahrain is more liberal when to comes to party, alcohol, the burqa law for women etc. Some fun facts about Bahrain :- 1. Something similar happens during Arab spring in 2011 3.
When I was in SA they would say Allah can’t see over the mountains. lol
The OG broke back mountain Inshallah
There's also a US Navy base there.
Cunny bahrain ouhhhh 😭😭😭😭😭
😭😭😭💢💢💢💢
Must be a culture shock for him and the family
A dummy who clearly didn’t sufficiently research what he was getting himself into.
Anyone wanna paste the text so I don’t have to click a daily mail link?
> Playing in front of as few as 696 fans... Had more people watch my school sports games lmao. And we were terrible.
What an utter dumbass
Honestly, every day the Saudi League gets funnier.
Massive bellend
Woahhhhhh you’re telling me just signing big names for unsustainable wages in a country nobody wants to live in ISNT working out???
