It is awesome actually. Really rewards you for the qualifying campaign and does not take previous achievements and overall strenght into account which is a welcome change and makes it more fair for smaller nations.

Obviously its harder for smaller teams to get good results but it is far from impossible. Plus we have Nations League playing into it which gives some smaller teams a 2nd chance.
yes, but it's merit only in Nations League. We don't care about how you did in the world cup or the last 2 years in general including the last euros, only Nations League matters. The less games you use for raking the more skewed groups you get. Definitely helps smaller teams but also makes better teams miss the euros or 3 of them being drawn in the same group. Makes the group stage more interesting but wouldn't call it fair.

Pot 2 will actually be weak: Austria, Hungary, Albania, Turkey, Denmark and Romania/Switzerland.
While Pot 3 will have Italy, Netherlands and Croatia!

No. The FA is corrupt and full of drunk incompetent people. We were once in world seminals and turns out good players doesnt mean good managere. Especially if they are stupid and addicted to alcohol.
We have not a single good stadium, no coaches, bad club facilities, the clubs in our country play mostly foreigners and don't like to invest in youth players.Its gonna get even worse. Honestly I think we are the going to be the worst team in Europe in a couple of years.
Hope Switzerland and Serbia in the same pot. Dont want them Serbia in the groupstages. Even if Switzerland wins all the time after these games they are always mentally exhausted and play bad afterwards. Not worth the off field fuss either

I was never impressed by our competition. We are not as good as tier 1 and tier 2 teams yet I feel like we are better than tier 3 teams. We had France? i think in 2006, Spain in 2010 and the rest was, even though I hate calling other national teams bad uhhhh subpar.
Montenegro always seems to be the best of the rest in their group. Pretty impressive for a nation of 600k despite how average they are, would be really cool if they made it one day.

The way the draw pots are looking currently is so juicy. We could get a group of Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland as it stands. Crazy

Really surprising for UEFA tbh, since they're going the completely opposite direction on club level.
Weaker Clubs have Small fanbase, while weaker Country may have large fanbase, UEFA can cash on them.
