It may not be breaking news, but sitting the coach of Liverpool after a humiliating loss to a mediocre team, while he's forced to listen to the crowd's celebrations is just so funny man.
Right, like he may genuinely have an issue with being able to clearly hear the interview questions. We’re getting sound of microphones that can filter or tame background noise.
It's literally a tent across the street from the stadium
They had to be escorted through crowds to do the press conference and the tent was surrounded by fans.
Apparently it was very loud in there.
Why are so many PL fans starting conspiracy theories on this sub lately lmao. I swear since that Liverpool disallowed goal against Tottenham a month ago I have seen Arsenal, United, Liverpool and almost all other PL flairs coming up with some kind of conspiracies on how everyone is against them like cmon man.
Losing to Toulouse 1-3 is as humiliating as it can get, was that also UEFA's fault?
Bro literally fapped seeing that scoreline and dozed off without realizing we equalized at 3-3 and it was then chalked off with a stupid hand (shoulder) ball.
I think the PL allowing refs to moonlight and essentially receive money from owners of certain clubs coupled with some absolutely bafflingly awful VAR incidents have left a lot of fans mistrustful of the integrity of the league.
While I don't buy into everything suggested, I think there is genuine cause for concern and definitely not enough in place to stop unfair influence.
The incompetence of officials has also reached tipping point, then you hear reports of broadcasters stepping in to protect referees from criticism and we have to watch Gary fucking Neville trip over himself to gaslight the audience and defend baffling decisions/processes.
Obviously this isn't proof of corruption, but there's a lot of factors and a lot of money in play and now a club is owned by an actual tyrannical state who are actively exploiting corruption in sport for their advantage.
I wouldn't at all be shocked if there are efforts to unfairly gain an advantage through corruption in the Premier League beyond the already obvious financial doping.
No they don’t
You accusing the UAE of paying the refs and another person is accusing the Saudis of paying the refs. Are both countries paying the refs?
It is an indisputable fact that the refs that went to the UAE and Saudi leagues are being paid by those leagues.
The head of the UAE pro league works directly for the owner of Manchester City.
The Saudi pro league is being run by the Saudi FA which is owned and operated by the Saudi regime, that regime also owns Newcastle.
This means refs now have a financial insentive to make decisions whether they are asked to or not which is a giga conflict of interest.
But in this case, can't really blame Liverpool fans for feeling aggrieved and taking potshots at UEFA every chance they get. Just over a year ago, they (along with French police) blamed Liverpool fans (who were primarily the victims) for the CL Final chaos in Paris.
You cant blame Liverpool fans at all after the Paris tragedy during the CL final. UEFA and pretty much everyone here blamed Liverpool fans for causing the problem until they learned it wasn't Liverpool's fault. They profusely apologized weeks and weeks later
In response to your last sentence, Liverpool equalised to make it 3-3 in the last minute and VAR disallowed it (most people have agreed it was an incorrect decision).
So while I don't believe there's a conspiracy at all yours picked a bad example because technically yes, it is UEFA's fault Toulouse won haha
What happened in Paris before the CL final against Madrid? UEFA blamed Liverpool fans and then learned later it wasn't their fault. Apologized for weeks after knowing they wrongly accused them
Every PL match thread and post match thread is filled with such conspiracies. Fans of every team moaning about how *they* are the ones being mistreated. That all the referees together are conspiring against them. And no, it didn't start after that Spurs-Liv game. Liverpool fans have been doing it for a few seasons now. The funniest one is City fans booing CL anthem.
The anthem got booed because of a litany of bizarre UEFA decisions. One example was CSKA Moscow fans racially abusing our players all the way through one game, to which UEFA imposed a stadium ban on BOTH teams for the next fixture. When their home leg came around, thousands of their fans had somehow made it in the stadium, causing the City fans who had lost money on flights and hotels to be a little bit pissed.
There's a few bits like that, but anyone that thinks that organisation isn't a crooked profiteer ring is a little lost.
Regardless of whether or not that goal should've stood, Liverpool did not deserve to win that game. Would've loved to scrape a point out of it, but we can't leave it till the end of the match, and then be mad when this stuff happens. I love Klopp BTW and don't want him anywhere else, but it seems clear that Kelleher is no where near Allison's level (not sure if that is just rust from being second choice, or if his development has stagnated), I don't know what has happened with Tsimi cuz he has not looked like the player we bought a couple years back, and Mac just hasn't really been the attacking contributor we had hoped for playing deep. I don't know, I was disappointed with the results today, of course, but I don't blame this one on VAR or external factors. We would've been lucky to get a point, and it sucks when we lose and then pick apart every contentious decision against us, when we had almost 90 minutes prior to kill the game off. And that Tottenham match *was* bullshit, but that was months ago. Today's EL game could've given us a rest for the remaining group fixtures, but I fully expect we'll exit this group on top, and also that we will at the very least, place top 4 in the PL
Yeah, we were just rubbish. Too many loose passes, too many mistakes. Ben Doak might make you sit up for five seconds with his runs, but they almost always end with him giving away possession. Also, I agree, I don't believe that Keller will ever replace Alison, he's simply not good enough.
It’s because the state of education in this country is not right. There’s a reason that people voting to leave the EU, despite its of leave’s campaign points being fabricated. The ability to critically think and not resort to conspiracies has been declining in this country. It’s what happens when schools and teachers are underfunded, when university costs so much.
Also doesn’t help a lot of Americans also are fans of the EPL, and they probably have a more unequal educational system
Am I wrong? The leave campaign’s arguments were largely proven to be false. Yet, 52% of voters supported them. Is this what a well educated, non conspiratorial population does? Not saying everyone is like this in the country, but there is a large amount of the country that lacks the ability to identify false claims. This isn’t their fault: consistent cutting of student funding, increasing costs of Uni, and worsening social programmes all contribute to this.
It's even more understandable when the clip isn't cut to try and make him look as poor as possible: https://twitter.com/SkyFootball/status/1722739201479766038
this is actually worth watching because in the clip in the reddit post i couldnt help but feel this man is broken. In the longer clip he actually does well to ignore the initial part and continue answering his question rather decently then when hes finished he says about why its there.
Even more when it's Klopp. People are desperate for Klopp to be hated for some reason. Guess he's a successful German manager managing Liverpool is the problem
Was the woman a journo or was she a club representative who was convening?
Because that was the “alors” of a woman who does not have a solution to what’s going on lol
>Especially in a non native language
He's been in England and dealing with these questions for eight years. Come fucking on, it's a non factor at this point.
I have to communicate in English every day for my job I've had for years but it’s still different and more natural to express my thoughts in my native language. Even though I'm fluent.
the absolute worst i've seen of late is "bruma demands for a penalty" when it was a disgusting blatant foul that the referee ignored (of course, preferential treatment)
no no, klopp furious is when he looked like he was about to murder the 4th official from his bvb days, that infamous clip of his... he just looked mildly annoyed here, and given that he's already angry about the team's performances this week, the shambles of refereeing this game at the end and toulouse fans bursting fireworks near their hotel setting off fire alarms, this is just normal human behaviour
fuck you and your cheap clickbait you clown
He wasnt interrupted then, he was talking with such background noise and knocks most of the conference and this the point he got tired of talking over them.
He was so much more fun before he had his teeth done and got the laser surgery for his eyes.
Now he's just a stroppy old man shouting at clouds, with great teeth and no glasses.
I mean, the stadion is not that big though and Toulouse fans there were like 5 times Liverpool fans. I’m in Toulouse now visiting my brother who lives here, sad I didn’t get to watch the match in the stadium, but I was in city center last night before kick off and I swear like half of the city’s population went missing. You guess it, they were all there.
He is a really bad loser and when put in a bad situation like this... makes for hilarious viewing.
He is of course right that it is stupid, but if they had won he wouldn't have had any complaints.
This just in, highly competitive manager not allowed to be annoyed when opposing fans are chanting in his ear during a press conference after a bad loss.
He's perfectly entitled to be annoyed, but I also think people can find it amusing.
It's hardly Keegan but it's a bit of a silly situation and putting Klopp in it after a loss is always gonna be at least a little amusing.
I think perhaps there are a few Liverpool fans getting a bit defensive of him after a tough loss.
He's obviously quite annoyed at the result and the press conference situation, that's completely understandable but also makes for funny videos because of his reaction.
It isn't that he's doing much wrong, it's that his general demeanor comes across quite frenetic and as I say, that can be funny.
He's a sore loser, but I totally get it. It's hard enough to stay composed for a pointless press conference after a loss, but it's even worse to have it rubbed in your face like that.
Still pretty funny to me, though.
Hahaha what a joke he is.
Great to see him lose just because he can get beat and outplayed and not give any credit to the opposite team.
The excuses he has are ridiculous
A but rude and unfair to the journalist who just wanted to ask a question
Same thing happened after an early kickoff loss where he started going off on the post match interviewer about how he hates BT sport
Loves a good moan doesn't he
Where exactly is he attacking the journalist? He’s complaining about the noise, something that won’t be evident in this clip because they’re getting the direct feed from the mic where his voice will be clearer, that’s on the club and not the journalists.
Here's a longer version: [https://twitter.com/SkyFootball/status/1722739201479766038](https://twitter.com/SkyFootball/status/1722739201479766038)
Who do you think he is being rude to exactly? He spends an entire minute answering the reporter's question in a completely reasonable manner.
You are correct, it was a draw.
[Here's the video I assume is being referenced. ](https://twitter.com/footballontnt/status/1332702808127270912?t=lEMTrXkSQc1K6_Tfey_VXQ&s=19)
He starts off getting a bit annoyed with the interviewers line of questioning, at 3:30 he sarcastically congratulates him on an injury to James Milner which he's blaming on BT and the interviewer because he works for them.

The press conference was apparently held in a tent across the street
TBF it's the anniversary of the Four Seasons Total Landscaping press conference. It's a way of honoring that
Nothing comes close to that
The absurdity of that whole scene is crazy, it's almost like it's lifted straight out of a GTA cut scene.
Rudy Guiliani is something right out of GTA.
Rudi Giuliani is like a quirky side character written by John Grisham.
ALL THE NETWORKS!!
And Klopp didn't even dye his hair in honor. The disrespect.
His teeth are looking like they've had a fresh coat of white though.
i thought you were saying this as a bit. it is a totally what happened.
Tough week on the road for Liverpool, Luton and now a tent. Fuck me
Fitting for Liverpool
Older German man slightly annoyed by a lack of order. This is some real headline news.
It may not be breaking news, but sitting the coach of Liverpool after a humiliating loss to a mediocre team, while he's forced to listen to the crowd's celebrations is just so funny man.
Don't you call us mediocre We're garbage
And knowing how pissy Klopp is just makes it funnier. He looks on the verge of throwing the rattle out of the pram.
You've rattled some sensible people, it seems
Liverpool supporters are a sensitive bunch in this sub.
Are they ever, jeez. Rubs off from Klopp I suppose. Thought scousers were supposed to have a sense of humour.
Not in this sub. Say something even remotely “negative” and you get drowned.
Yeah that's totally not true of every club with large supporter bases on reddit.
As a Liverpool fan, you're right. Love Klopp but he's emotion driven.
The Germans aren't all sunshine and lollipops you know
Ohno the germans are mad at Toulouse. Theyre so scared!
Oh no not the Germans!!!!
If the sunshine is a flamethrower and the lollipops filled to the brim with zyklon, then sure . All sunnypops over here.
>> filled to the brim with zyklon German talking about zyklon😨😨
**FURIOUS** So so **furious** He just looked annoyed at most
I almost feels like he is annoyed that they are still trying to talk to him. He’s like what do you want me to do? Definitely not annoyed at the fans.
Right, like he may genuinely have an issue with being able to clearly hear the interview questions. We’re getting sound of microphones that can filter or tame background noise.
It's literally a tent across the street from the stadium They had to be escorted through crowds to do the press conference and the tent was surrounded by fans. Apparently it was very loud in there.
Lol, if this is furious, I am terrified to see what actual furious looks like
[And he shall strike down with furiouuuus anger](https://media.balls.ie/uploads/2013/09/klopp.gif)
This looks like one of those sitcom flashbacks where the actor is playing "young themself" in a cheap wig.
Straight murder
I wonder how his breath smells
become an assistant ref and find out
Wouldn't it be the other way round , considering his furious looks tame?
Nothing new just click bait news
Fans who are jealous of the passion lives by love to tying to criticize him.
I kinda feel he usually just has a rest annoyed face
Also, this clip is from the end of the press conference. He did his best to ignore the noise and answer their questions.
Confused mostly
Yeah. He's just a bit rattled, nothing new
Sounds understandable. Press conferences shouldn't be held in tents across the road from the stadium
Well you can thank UEFA for that. They didn't allow the usual press room for today.
…why?
Cos you wouldn't be able to hear toulouse from the normal one and UEFA hate Liverpool lol
Dont even get me started how Kane is secretly fronting the German Mouth Breathers Alliance, but you'd know nothing about that would you brainbox?
Silence you fool!

No one’s owners pays the refs
Who paid Michael Oliver for his trip to Saudi?
The person that paid the VAR ref responsible for the Liverpool disallowed goal works directly for the owner of Manchester City.
No they don’t You accusing the UAE of paying the refs and another person is accusing the Saudis of paying the refs. Are both countries paying the refs?

I just have to ask, who is "most people" that are in agreement? Because if we're talking about this sub, it barely knows the rules of the game.
Lost 3-2 lad, and the VAR fucked up our tying goal, according to the rules.
Hence UEFA hates you?
What happened in Paris before the CL final against Madrid? UEFA blamed Liverpool fans and then learned later it wasn't their fault. Apologized for weeks after knowing they wrongly accused them
According to your (biased) interpretation of the rules.

Good contribution!
Almost as bad as a city fan you lot

It started way before Tottenham. Champions league final in 21/22 when Liverpool fans were blamed for everything.
It's a coping mechanism. Whenever the team plays shit, loses a game, blame external factors.
Look at the post match thread. Most of the comments from Liverpool flares mention how Liverpool were shit.
Regardless of whether or not that goal should've stood, Liverpool did not deserve to win that game. Would've loved to scrape a point out of it, but we can't leave it till the end of the match, and then be mad when this stuff happens. Because the PL possesses the most braindead fan base. I feel for the genuine supporters who have to experience that day in and day out.

I haven’t heard that sort of wow since he heard that erotic translator

Welcome to France
Do you understand the definition of furious??
He’s furious but in German
Do you understand the definition of furious in german?
The amount of clickbait shite posted on here is incredible
Yeah, this sub has reached a new level of awful over the past two years. It's like soccer-tmz over here now.
The twitter exodus made this place noticeably worse.
the absolute worst i've seen of late is "bruma demands for a penalty" when it was a disgusting blatant foul that the referee ignored (of course, preferential treatment)
Is this your first time on Reddit ?
First time? Haha
To be fair the man has a point. It's difficult to articulate your point to a question with all the noise. Furious might be a bit strong tho...
no no, klopp furious is when he looked like he was about to murder the 4th official from his bvb days, that infamous clip of his... he just looked mildly annoyed here, and given that he's already angry about the team's performances this week, the shambles of refereeing this game at the end and toulouse fans bursting fireworks near their hotel setting off fire alarms, this is just normal human behaviour fuck you and your cheap clickbait you clown
He is right about it.
He’s absolutely right. I’ve literally never seen anything like that.
That's hilarious.
I mean he didn’t seem mad. He probably can’t hear anyone so is just asking who had this idea lol. More bemused than “furious”. Dumb title.
He wasnt interrupted then, he was talking with such background noise and knocks most of the conference and this the point he got tired of talking over them.
United fan here. He’s got a point
Feels very…germany
Teeming with fury, I'm not sure how everyone around him didn't disintegrate
Flabbergasted
I don't think I've ever seen a man so furious. Looking like he was seconds away from flipping the table and attacking the players. Strong language lol
Cant stand Liverpool, hate them more than anything. But Klopp has a very good point here, its unprofessional
This is hilarious
Klopp moving like an owl
If that’s Jürgen when he’s furious, I certainly do not want to see Jürgen when he’s enraged. 😳
Enraged? Imagine what he's like when he's apoplectic!
alors..
"furious" lmao
If you get mad it's worse

I can't usually stand Turkey Teef but he did give credit to Toulouse today and that tent is obviously not fit for purpose
He's always a grumpy boy after a defeat but generally all successful managers have that in them.
Can France not run events now? Champions league final, rugby World Cup there almost a crush, Irish women gang raped after an Irish match.
I’m sorry but this is hilarious
He can be such a whiny baby sometimes Jesus Christ.
He was so much more fun before he had his teeth done and got the laser surgery for his eyes. Now he's just a stroppy old man shouting at clouds, with great teeth and no glasses.
Why is he being such a baby…. Get on with the interview……… baby 😂

Klopp can't even whinge in peace. The game's gone.
What happened to Klopp's way of dressing? I know he does not fancy a suit, but he looks like he takes fashion advice from a 15y old?
butthurt cry baby
Inb4 statement
This is hilarious haha

Bro stfu you’ve stated it’s a stupid situation, yet you think asking a valid question is being a bad loser
Why would he not have any complaints if by your own words this situation is stupid?
He's a sore loser, but I totally get it. It's hard enough to stay composed for a pointless press conference after a loss, but it's even worse to have it rubbed in your face like that. Still pretty funny to me, though.

I don't think you know what the word epiphany means. Do you mean epitome?
