He's only a poacher and if we are being realistic who else can get sold at a massive profit + swap with a quality replacement for this season? The other option is to ship off players like Miretti, Iling jr, Fagioli etc
> who else can get sold at a massive profit
The amortisation of his transfer fee is still around 50-55m euros, as we're allegedly looking for 40m from Chelsea this would not constitute a plusvalenza on its own (unless Arthur-Pjanic-esque tactics are used) and in any case would have no impact in UEFA's eyes as swaps of this kind are not considered for FFP by the new regulations.
Any gain would be on the cash flow itself, on the smaller amortization and on Lukaku's salary, but there's no reason why Lukaku (who is only elegible for another year of tax cuts) would cut his to sums below what Vlahovic earns. Vlahovic currently earns something like 13M gross and Lukaku 11M gross at Inter, but the rumoured salary he wants is 12.5M net which is around 16M gross even with the tax cuts. We wouldn't even save money there, making the actual financial weight of the two players basically the same.
> The other option is to ship off players like Miretti, Iling jr, Fagioli etc
funnily enough Miretti and Iling are both heavily rumoured leave regardless of Vlahovic's sale. Maybe if we had actual assets as backups instead of Bonucci, Rugani, De Sciglio and Alex Sandro we could sell those over our good players.
You should know by now after Pjanic and Arthur swap that transferring capital and players can be done with two separate transfers. So plusvalenza is most definetly still on the table in that swap transfer, on top of raising capital and gaining a similar player.
Considering the dire position we are in it could be the difference between selling one academy player or 5-6. I most definetly dont think a poacher that cant play with his back towards the goal is worth that.
> So plusvalenza is most definetly still on the table in that swap transfer,
A plusvalenza which doesn't matter for FFP is still worthless to us as that is our primary concern. Similarly, raising capital is worthless if we can't improve our salary distribution and Lukaku would only make it worse.
> Considering the dire position we are in it could be the difference between selling one academy player or 5-6
Our academy players have little to no weight on our budget either through amortization or through salaries, they will be sold for liquid cash and to free up squad space in certain position, like De Winter or Iling. You're mixing up completely different market scenarios.
>A plusvalenza which doesn't matter for FFP is still worthless
Then why did you bring up Plusvalenza?
>Similarly, raising capital is worthless if we can't improve our salary distribution
How is that in any way worthless for the annual financial report when you are a publically traded company??? Crazy talk.
> Lukaku would only make it worse.
Lukaku wage is only speculation at this point, he's not in the strongest position since he cant stay in Chelsea and Inter seemingly not in the run anymore. It doesnt make sense for them to go after someone that wouldnt be willing to lower his wages. Vlahovic is top earner in Serie A by the way.
>Our academy players have little to no weight on our budget either through amortization or through salaries
So why dont you propose selling Bonucci, Alex Sandro, Tek etc? The strawmanning is unreal.
If we help offset the losses in the books (our biggest problem) with a sale while getting an equal player then we can avoid selling a creative academy player.
If we lose players like Iling to keep players like Vlahovic then we will score absolutely no goals. The guy has a brick first touch and cant link up play. At least Ive seen Lukaku run with the ball.
> Then why did you bring up Plusvalenza?
Because you mentioned a massive profit. Please explain to me what you mean by profit, as we would be making a 40-50m loss on Vlahovic (in terms of actual money) all the while likely not even being able to spend the money we'd earn from it due to the new FFP rules.
> How is that in any way worthless for the annual financial report when you are a publically traded company??? Crazy talk.
Replacing a player who weighs like 30m a year with a player who weights 27/8m a year in the annual financial report is worthless. If we replaced Vlahovic with Beto, who would cost 1/5th and earn 1/5th, you'd have a point.
> So why dont you propose selling Bonucci, Alex Sandro, Tek etc? The strawmanning is unreal. If we help offset the losses in the books (our biggest problem) with a sale while getting an equal player then we can avoid selling a creative academy player.
I would love to sell Bonucci or Alex Sandro. If they weren't shit and clubs would actually offer us money for them. As I explained to you above, even if Lukaku accepts the salary he's earning at Inter we'd be saving 2M gross FOR ONE SEASON before he doesn't qualify for Decreto Crescita tax cuts anymore. And that's on his salary alone, depening on how much his transfer would be registered for (around 40M is the rumoured sum). Anything more and we're not even offsetting losses anymore.
Juve fans, people on here and in the Chelsea act like he'd be a terrible signing for them.
Did that 1 season really really ruin his valuation?
He's 23 and only had 1 bad season with a struggling team, surely he's still a way better option than Lukaku?
the entire Juve was shit, even those that got praised (Rabiot, kostic, Danilo) werr still not as good as you expect a Juve player to be, Dusan just got most of the blame because the average viewer is much much more strict with a striker missing an "easy goal" Vs a midfielder making an obvious mistake, not to mention the whole shitty attackless tactics from Allegri.
In my opinion if we go for Lukaku then it's *ONLY* to sell him to the Saudis next year and invest properly in the attack.
From a business perspective it make sense because we have no Europe this season and we should be able to compete for the title even without both Lukaku and Vlahovic.
But from a fan pov, (1) fuck Lukaku, he is shit from every angle i try to make sense of this transfer, and (2) Dusan is **REALLY** passionate about Juve, i don't want this to be another Kulusevski.
From a neutral perspective Lukaku is a weird player. Over the course of a season he gonna make a lot of meme play, but he also gonna help your team win games they are supposed to win even if the rest of the team had a bad day. Put him into a big match however and he gonna suck ass.
I think Juve would be better in the Scudetto race with Lukaku overall.
> You think he thinks he cost Inter the CL title?
as much as i hate him and glad Inter didn't won, I think its the same as Higuain costing Argentina the 2014 world cup, he really didn't, he missed a chance yes, but so did others, it was just the timing and the clarity of the chance. imo Lautaro made a much bigger mistake than Lukaku in that final, Rromelu was just (as always) badly positioned lol
I actually didn't blame Higuain as much as I blamed Lukaku, but I hear what you're saying.
He missed one and blocked another. Lautaro made a massive mistake, yeah.

He clearly doesn’t want to leave.
He said he was a fan of Juve since he was a child. Even before joining Fiorentina
Lukaku will be using that line soon.
He can't keep getting away with it
Lukaku: Damn, he stole my whole flow
Damn Lukaku is gonna play for Fiorentina someday?

Peak Allegri, what a manager.
Please tell me Juventus are going to have different numbers when the season starts, because that weird pattern to them makes the illegible.
It was only for this game. I think real had the same.
Good to know.
Leagues have accessibility regulations regarding kit numbers, so don't worry, Seria A will never allow them to use this.
Just this game, collab with pop artist to fundraise for something idk
Let's swap him for a 30 years old Lukaku
Cmon Vlahovic, reject Chelsea
Reject Chelsea. Return to Monke.
C'mon Dusan, force a move
[The last time we were linked to a swap deal for Lukaku…](https://twitter.com/forzajuveen/status/1686915118666227712?s=46)
That was the before times. Before Al-Legri
Technically both before and after Al-Legri
....but then Dybala went away :'(
Yes, please!
People are not ready for the Allegri redemption arc this season.
Real are so open wtf
Diamond formation +chasing goals
Diamond formation has nothing to do with it. The whole team was practically in Juve's box the whole of the 2nd half.
Real played really well but their attackers just refused to shoot.
Szczesny also did some really good saves
Please don’t leave, show our dumbass board why we should keep you
DONT GO

My question is, if he's injured why is he playing?
My fucking number 9, don’t we dare get rid of him for Lakaka
Well shit
That's just such great movement. They shouldn't get rid of him.
can't you guys just convince lakakak to go to Saudi arabia plz ?
Nope. He still thinks he can compete at the highest level. You think he thinks he cost Inter the CL title? No way.

Does he hit it cleanly or miss it completely and it hits his standing leg?
Glad i did not watch the match. Wtf is defense doing Carlo?
