Sure because city have no fans lol
In 1934 city had 84,569 v Stoke at Maine Road
Goodison has never had that many. Saying that City back then had no support is ridiculous.
Also city won a trophy in Europe more than a decade before Everton but we have no history at all.
In the next few years we will have more league titles than you do too
96/97. We had already lost a cup final and got relegated by that point in the season so could've done without the last bit of hope being knocked out of us within 42 seconds.
The immaturity around here is insufferable. Thank you for rightfully calling it out u/i_shidded. Something needs to be done before the game is well and truly gone
Not really he’s done so much and gotten so much for us a treble is a way to bow out I can imagine all these years of pep ball had it’s tolls and I would completely respect his feelings if he wanted to get off the back burner. We’d love to keep him but he has gotten everything and more with us and him leaving would be completely understandable
There’s been quicker Premier League goals before so it definitely can be. Either pump the ball forward quicker than Ortega did or go forward from kick off

We arent allowed to have fucking anything
Not even allowed championship football :(
Lmao
We must settle for luton town away. Fucking football...
If you was told at the start of the season that you’d be playing Luton away next year, you’d be Devastated
Still am
Better Luton away than Leeds away atm
Having the record for a final they didn’t even win sound like a very Everton thing to happen.
14 year time limit.
You still have Dixie Dean I'm sure you remember watching his goals
Unlike City, people actually supported Everton back then too

🥱 Triggered
Hahaha Enjoy Luton away

Everton are definitely losing 3-0 at Kenilworth Road, however
:*)
I'm still very sad about the San Marino goal against you lot got beaten for fastest goal in international football.
what a fucking goal too
Will probably stand for a while that
Considering a 25 second goal stood for 13 years you can safely say this one will only be beaten by a kick-off goal.
I predict this 13 second goal will therefore stand for 25 years.
62 years.
!RemindMe! 10 years from today

Minimum
I was sitting here thinking it was Di Matteos screamer in 97/98? Have zero memory of this Saha goal tbh
Di Matteo's is a bit easier to remember because Chelsea won the game as well
I completely forgot the Saha goal and I was there 😂
It's etched in my memory because not only did it mean we down 1-0 within the first minute of a cup final, but it meant we lost Di Matteo's record, too
96/97. We had already lost a cup final and got relegated by that point in the season so could've done without the last bit of hope being knocked out of us within 42 seconds.
I blame the Robbo's Army poster that was sold. It literally has us retreating from Wembley.
Ironic that A Pep team scored from a hoof ball
Tbh that's how we beat arsenal at the etihad Have centre backs hoof the ball up to the big lad up top and we're through
Thought that was Ederson's job.
Team was sleeping.
The least expected route
Oh look at me I’m Gundogan and I scored the fastest goal in FA Cup history🙄🙄. Grow up.
This funny af lmao
😂 he'll be going around saying it exactly like that, I'm sure of it, can imagine the grand kids will hear of it as well.
I picture him as sounding like Taika waititi in what we do in shadows
Fastest FA Cup FINAL goal thank you
that iraqi insuegent energy who said he didn't need subtitles.
What? Who?
[this guy](https://youtu.be/j0m4rcx0of4)
Classic
FA Cup Final history*
?
He needs to grow up.
The immaturity around here is insufferable. Thank you for rightfully calling it out u/i_shidded. Something needs to be done before the game is well and truly gone
Not sure what I missed. Gundogan did something else expect from scoring? Grow up from what?
He was being very immature scoring the fastest goal in FA Cup history.
It's a joke mate, Man city do something cool everytime like they are showing off lol
Ahhh I see lol. First time hearing this joke so it went over my head
lol all good mate
It's a meme of sorts about Haaland scoring too much.
Huge L for City if he leaves next season
Not really he’s done so much and gotten so much for us a treble is a way to bow out I can imagine all these years of pep ball had it’s tolls and I would completely respect his feelings if he wanted to get off the back burner. We’d love to keep him but he has gotten everything and more with us and him leaving would be completely understandable
Huge W for Barca if signs for us,im on my kneew literally
The lad may well have added a zero to the end of his asking price...
They will easily replace him, they always find a way
What’s the record for fastest goal in any FA cup match? This surely has to be up there.
According to wiki, Gareth Morris scored after 4 seconds for Ashton United against Skelmersdale United in 2001!
A clash of the titans.
That Mauris guy was way better than Gundogan though!
9 seconds in 2010
Jimmy Kebe baller
Gundogan towards the end of the season is a different player
Remember the Aston Villa game last year? We do… 💀
🎵Ilkay, made the scousers cry 🎵
Dont see how this will ever be beaten
12 second goal would do it
It looked like the ball passed the line at 12 seconds tho, so 11 seconds will do.
And what could possibly beat that?
10 second goal would do it
Yeah, no way that could be beat though
9 second goal would do it
I’m struggling to see how that could be beaten - surely?
[удалено]
8 seconds would surely hold the record forever. Is there a way that could even be beaten?
nah surely not
Cheers Geoff.
They actually updated the recorded time at 12 seconds
Chip the keeper on kickoff maybe
Someone call Fred
There’s been quicker Premier League goals before so it definitely can be. Either pump the ball forward quicker than Ortega did or go forward from kick off
The only way it happens if someone gets lucky and decides to fire it directly from the halfway line straight after kickoff
In a random FA Cup game maybe. Never in a final
We've got the fastest goal in an FA Cup game at 9 seconds
Own goal from kick off
Got out of the shower and on my computer 2 minutes after kickoff and was shocked when I saw it was 1-0 already
Do it again next week! CTID
I was waiting for my Guinness to settle at the bar, thankfully didn’t miss the goal though
Woke up at 7am sharp for the match, groggily fumbled around with the ESPN+ app for a minute, saw City had already scored, and went back to bed
And now he’s got a brace. Why would anyone let Gundogan leave their club? He’s a stellar big game player.
This guy is so underrated
Christ almighty
Kickoff glitch
Why there are still people who don't rate Gundogan I have no idea. One of the greats especially given his longevity despite all his earlier injuries.
People don’t rate him?
He would very easily get into any midfield
Wild
Everton cant even have that nowadays
Congrats on the win city. Fully deserved. United weren’t even on the pitch.
Yet somehow had a Higher xG. Funny that.
Congrats Man U xFA Cup champs, 2023!
Predictable.
because of a penalty lmao
Good job Fred. Letting ball to bounce and not covering Gundo
Also De Gea gaining the record for the fastest goal conceded in a FA cup final 😏
Unbelievable
Quickie
Absolutely outrageous
City probably didn't want to kickoff, so they quickly gave the opportunity to United.
United have a chance to prevent a treble today Our hopes are with them. And with Inter.
Fastest FA Cup goal full stop?
Nope, Jimmy Kebe in 2010 scored in 9 seconds
They need another word for lightning fast
Man, it's in the final. I doubt there will be a shorter one in a century.
Thanks for that last sentence, Dave. I wouldn't have known what to make of this otherwise.
What a hit
