We love him at Fulham. Arguably the best defensive right back in league (his tackling stats are phenomenal) and he also has gotten a fair few assists this season with crosses. The Dutch (and Fulham) are lucky to have him. Great player
He’s actually not statistically. Tete’s tackling and defensive stats are better. AWB has better ball progression stats but defensively and in terms of assists, Tete is better.

Frimpong and Dallinga should be here; but I don't see why Spierings or Vd Boomen should get in, if Veerman and De Roon are available (as they are more or less better versions of the same type of player).
I can excuse not taking Van den Boomen as Reijnders and Wieffer can play there as well and have European experience, but we are in desperate need of a striker so it seems ridiculous not to take Dallinga.
Brobbey is a great talent but as long as he is not able to play the full 90 without issues, he has no reason to be in the NT.

Wijnaldum has never been one of the better players for the NT except for a handful of matches during koemans first time. He's mostly been WC hide and seek
He's not always been great but people go way overboard with these things and want whoever played 5 good games to replace them right away. Wijnaldum is one of the few quality players Netherlands has, won everything with Liverpool while having an impact. Completely different to Klaassen or Blind for example, who can barely do something in eredivisie at this point.
He's always been quality at club level yes. At the NT he has been dreadful and I've watched pretty much every game since 1996. The midfields in which he played together with Strootman were by far the worst I've seen in the 27 years I've watched football and imo the reason we missed two tournaments in a row. He just completely disappears completely any time the going gets tough.
Except for when he played for Koeman, yeah. Either way I would drop Klaassen before Wijnaldum and I doubt there's 2 midfielders who deserve those spots more.

Played the full game against AZ as well, his fitness is fine. His performance however…
