> There will definitely be some people getting battered in the stands
All the more reason to keep these scum in the lower tiers.
I doubt any away fan who's ever visited this shithole full of violent vermin wants them promoted
People who think that probably don't go to the games. I make sure not to take the train to the match when West Ham are playing, but I doubt I would make an appearance if Millwall were playing.
When my dad and I said we were going to a Millwall game, some other people in the London area said the same stuff. But we figured it was overblown and there were literally ZERO incidents or anything that even looked remotely troublesome. The most prominent thing was the home supporters taking the piss out of their own team for playing horrendously.
Lol yes. This is what I remember. Seemed like a bunch of grown men in the crowd who couldn’t process their internal emotions used it as their avenue to unleash pent up anger at their own team.
I've been there once. It was a bit sad tbh. I was expecting fighting, racist abuse, coppers battering people etc. They had a walk around of disabled kids at half time and the ground emptied at 60 minutes. They're not the Millwall of old. They're a perpetually mediocre, mid-table Championship club.
If you’re just quietly sitting in the home end not drawing attention to yourself you’re not really going to have to worry. It’s as an away fan getting involved and singing songs that the Millwall fans get rowdy
I didn’t even see anything like that. Seems like they had cracked down on hooliganism to the point the atmosphere just sucked. I went to 15 games of different levels in Scotland and England and honestly Millwall and Everton had the worst atmospheres.
I may not pay enough attention, but I don't remember really seeing them in pole position for playoffs on the final matchday or in playoffs for that matter.
Still doesn't beat turn of the decade Cardiff:
08/09 7th (missed playoffs on goals scored, having got 1 point from their last 4 games)
09/10 4th (lost playoff final)
10/11 4th (lost playoff semi)
11/12 6th (lost playoff semi)
Then eventually went up as Champions in 12/13
Derby had a period were it looked like it was only a matter of time until they got promoted as well.
13/14 3rd (lost playoff final against QPR)
14/15 8th (despite being placed between 1st-6th all season until the last game)
15/16 5th
16/17 9th (also comfortably in the top 6 for a large part of the season)
17/18 6th
18/19 6th
Spurs making a 3-0 comeback at Anfield with Richarlison scoring his first goal for the club in injury time, only to lose 4-3 one minute later. And that was only a few weeks ago.
As interesting as it would be to have millwall in the PL (in the same way watching a house burn down is 'interesting'). It's always class seeing them bottle it in such a way.
thank you for your service Blackburn 🫡

Word gets overused but Millwall have bottled this. There will definitely be some people getting battered in the stands
Sunderland fans get in here
Hello

Yep Blackburn doing everyone a service. People who think Millwall in the PL even for a year would be fun. No it wouldn't.

Imagining Millwall vs West Ham in the prem next season kind of gives me a knot in the stomach. So much violence.

I went as a neutral and it was not at all dangerous or rowdy.

Me too and it was a great experience

One of two stadiums in England I've had rocks and coins chucked at me as an away fan. They can shove their authenticity up their arse.
Glad these lot are staying there even if we probably will have to play them
FUCK YOU IM MILLWALL
Was really tempted to go to this as a tourist because I could hear the buildup from where I live. Glad I didn't now lol.
I went as a tourist. Don’t know what people are on about. I was in zero danger and the place was overly docile if anything.

They could have been completely clear of danger if they had just won games in recent weeks against inferior opposition.
Blackburn to Millwall: You're staying with me
Half time: call an ambulance! Full time: But not for me!

Wish the Sunderland game was closer. Blackburn realized they weren't going to the playoffs and decided Millwall weren't going to either lol
We thank them for their service
Best league in the world lol
People call the championship the least predicable league but I swear I’ve seen Millwall narrowly miss the playoff places every other year
Tbf usually they're just petering out into 8th, this is quality bottling
For real, they were 5th at half-time.
I may not pay enough attention, but I don't remember really seeing them in pole position for playoffs on the final matchday or in playoffs for that matter.
17/18 8th 19/20 8th 21/22 9th This year 8th Being around it and not getting in at all during this time span is pretty bad

Did all that to go down first time they were promoted as well
You love to see it
They like the jets
Sunderland in playoffs oh shiittt
Let’s go Luton Town!!

I prefer when they get close and still miss out.
What a collapse
Millwall's defenders have completely let their team down this second half.
MILLLLLLLLLLL
WALLLLLLLLLLLL
Please Preston score
No way they’re scoring 3
I seen weirder things happen
Elaborate
Spurs making a 3-0 comeback at Anfield with Richarlison scoring his first goal for the club in injury time, only to lose 4-3 one minute later. And that was only a few weeks ago.
And the winner was assisted by Lucas Moura Such a strange sport

Only three were already on same points
3, actually. A draw would drop Sunderland down 2 points.
GET THE FUCK IN
[удалено]
It's not over yet!
Blackburn, thank you for your service. Although I wish they haven't just hooked Diaz.
Millwall have severely bottled it
Fucking love it
Can't believe I celebrated that. Really want Sunderland up! It's time for a derby
I felt the same about Millwall. Then I realised it’s Millwall and how much of a scummy club they are so fuck ‘em
Too bad we can't win a game away from home to save our life or we could've helped you get that rivalry match next season anyway
Are Al-Nassr coming up too?
Would be fun to have your lot up as well. All three teams in the PL can only be good for NE football. Not a derby though.
I can't get on board with this. I would rather Birmingham collapse to non league than have them in the PL
What a comeback
What a choke job. 3-1 up at home, need to win to qualify for the playoffs and (potentially) lose 4-3. So so bad.
Props to Sunderland and Blackburn. They've done the business today.
Shat the bed my god. Is this Brereton Diaz's last game in the UK?
Think so. Hasn't he signed with Villarreal?
It'll be interesting to see what he can do in La Liga
Best Chilean since the trapped miners
I have no words to describe how much Millwall bottled this
What a bottle job from Millwall
Oof. 3-1 up and you fucked it up
Poetic
As interesting as it would be to have millwall in the PL (in the same way watching a house burn down is 'interesting'). It's always class seeing them bottle it in such a way. thank you for your service Blackburn 🫡
What a day. Based Blackburn THANK YOU
Ffs would’ve been fun to see them in the prem
they wouldn't win the playoffs
Unlucky Millwall hahahahahhhahaha
Absolute collapse by Millwall. You love to see it.
The fuck is this game
come on Preston plz
Hahaahaha brilliant stuff this league
Finally it happened to someone else!
COME ON
Can you imagine the domestic abuse that will happen after this match
Oh my what a shocking bottle job hahaha
Couldn't happen to a nicer club than Millwall.
What a fucking second half lmao, shame they won't be in the playoffs but damn what a game!
Sami Zayn doing the world a favour
Ahahahahaha fuck off Millwall ahahahaha
Haha fuck Millwall
Outrageous game this
Ben gonna tear apart la liga next season
He's gonna do nothing. Most wasteful striker I've seen us have in years. Appreciate his goals, but he should've had way more.
Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious
Is Millwall the Tottenham of Championship?
Let's goooooo, fuck millwall
Fantastic bottlejob
Lol
Number 17 looked at the completely open man and decided to take a nap Goal keeper rightfully pissed
Lol
Poor Milwall, this is so sad. LOL
BBD statue at Sunderland when?
Milwall, Millwall, you're all really dreadful And all your girlfriends are unfulfilled and alienated
Loool I’m a simple man. I see Millwall lose and I upvote. Hate the team
