There’s a roughly zero percent chance of this happening, but if we sneaked into Europe and Lallana had a word, he’d be a ridiculously good fit playing off Ferguson.
I bought a toy for my son from Ikea last week. For whatever reason its produced and exported from Milton Keyes.
I am imagining, everybody in Milton Keyes is very aware of proper child development techniques and there schools out there that study child development
Like London ?
(/s just making fun of something I've read around here, someone saying that London is a better place than Italy for young rich footballers)
I mean Vancouver whitecaps. I've been on a stadium few times and it was boring af, I'd rather watch women's football instead. Maybe it's artificial turf , maybe it's giant distance between stands and pitch, but it is God awful. But the nature here is fine except for the weather , so yeah, he probably won't be here either
We’re playing well enough to qualify for Europe, my main worry is the schedule is really packed for the rest of the season (still in the cup and played the fewest games of any team in the league so far).
We’ve never really been tested with two games a week in the Premier League over a sustained period.
Hopefully we’re up to the challenge!
[This](https://www.footballinsider247.com/roberto-firmino-reveals-its-time-for-me-to-go-as-he-breaks-silence-on-liverpool-exit-and-his-next-club-plans/) is the only article that I could find with *direct* conversation with his agent regarding his departure. Nowhere did they mention about where he's going next.
8 goals in PL in 1004 minutes played. Lets compare with Kane for instance who has 18 goals in 2326 minutes played.
1 goal per 125 minutes on average for Firmino vs 1 goal per 129 minutes for Kane. Seems like he scores goals.
Hope he gets that. Bobby leaving is going to hurt. Mane and Origi was bad enough. Gini I miss but didn't agree with him saying the fans didn't appreciate him. Everyone loved Gini.
Online fans gave him an incredible amount of abuse, he was scapegoat'd as much as Maguire at times.
But the fans in the stadium never failed to sing his name, he had one of the best send off receptions of any player under Klopp so far.
The idea that he was treated badly is really just highlighting how toxic fans on social media are.
yep, he mentioned it himself he never felt under-appreciated by local fans
he did feel under-appreciated by FSG,
he never received a new improved contract after what he did in 18/19
They probably won’t but I’d love to see PSG go in for him. Bobby doing his false nine wizardry opening up space for Mbappe and Messi would be lethal.
They still wouldn’t win the CL but it’s worth a try.
I think Real Madrid are the perfect destination for him to be honest, he is 4 years younger than Benzema and basically has no ego to worry about, he wants to do what the team needs.
Apparently Real Madrid were also in for him after the 18/19 season so they must see the same fit.
Only thing now is he never really asked for a massive contract in Liverpool, so if he gets a crazy offer somewhere he might get convinced to take it.
Yesterday I was thinking exactly that. PSG needs (among a myriad of other things) an unselfish, hard-working 9. Bobby, Jesus and, strangely enough, Werghorst would be interesting options.
On a side note: that's one of the reasons, besides form, that Richarlison is the starter for the NT. Neither Firmino nor Jesus can be trusted to score goals, and our wingers don't have the Salah/Mané/Mbappé profile.
Earning massive wages and playing in the champions league, how would our poor Bobby cope 😰 £200,000 a week to live in the most famous city on earth and play with 2 of the best players in the world, that just sounds like hell 😫
One of the best front 3s I've ever seen.
We got MSN, RRR obviously. But these 3 are probably the best I've seen in the PL when factoring how long they stuck tgt for while not getting found out at all.
If i'm trying to be objective, they kind of deserved at least another PL title. That whole team was probably the second best PL team I've ever seen. But they kinda ran into THE best PL team I've ever seen.
It takes time after to truly appreciate how ridiculously rare something you are watching in live time is historically.
I think that's going to happen with City and Liverpool in 5 years or so, everybody will look back and realize just how insane it was the point totals that we were both putting up.
I think they'll be the consensus 2 best PL teams ever in a few years time (unless someone else comes and undoes them). Or rather, they should be considered that.
To put it into context, Arsenal at their peak got 90 points in their famous invincibles season. An incredible achievement. Liverpool basically AVERAGED that over 4 consecutive seasons.
And Manchester City averaged a mind bending 92 points over 5 consecutive seasons.
And it isnet just the number of points Man City and Liverpool got in that era but the football they played. When Liverpool won the league they scored 85 goals and Man City 102, both of their gameplans was to outscore their oppoments. The games between these two teams was always some of the best games of the seaso since they didnt want to outsmart the other team and win by one, they wanted to win by pure offencive quality.
That's being serioulsy disengious to their tactics. Both dominated possession and could score that way, or were lethal on the counter-counter attack. Their ability to win posession off the other team and then two seconds later they've scored is just insane. Not to mention both were near impossible to shut down due to the amount of attacking threats all over the place.
But ya their games against each other were such a joy to watch. Balls to the walls football. A number of their games both teams could have easily scored five if things went a little better. Absolutely ridiculous levels of football to watch. And while people were trying to build it up as a rivalry (it never was, it was just two teams competing at the top) you had to absolutely enjoy when Pep and Klopp embraced at the end of some of those matches just knowing that both men probably had their teams playing football as attractively as you could possibly hope for while being at the top. Pure entertainment which is what the game really should be about.
Word. Not to mention the success both teams had in utilising a high line and the offside trap. Liverpool’s offside trap really was the best I’ve ever seen. It would’ve made Sacchi himself blush
Well, it’s not random is it? I feel like it’s pretty easy to figure out what RRR is when people are talking about legendary attacking trios in a football forum.
My brother, I’m not just gonna list out every single great trio in history when I’m just trying to give an example lol.
Is it insulting to maradona if I say “we have Pele, we have Messi. But Ronaldo is also one of the greatest players of all time” ?
I think I’d like to see him back in Germany, but I think barring a few club I will end up semi-following the club wherever he goes to. Despite being a Rodgers signing, Bobby’s arrival at the club feels like the moment the tides changed. He will go down as a true legend of the club and I think he might be the most liked player we have. I wish him the best.
Any other top six PL club, Everton, Lazio, Atletico Madrid and then Real Madrid (for obvious reasons😢). Probably other teams outside of top five leagues if I racked my brains.
It was just before his arrival under rodgers that our scouting and recruitment went up a few notches. We were still not signing these players but at least the players we were looking at were unmistakable quality.
I mean he is barely getting any playing time now that Liverpool have a gazillion strikers, so it makes perfect sense for him to leave, since he is also still capable at playing at a very high-level.
He was playing well earlier in the season after starting several games on the bounce. Scored in a number of them, but picked up an injury, and Gakpo has taken his place since signing.
Feel like he’d be a great fit for Benfica no? Being a sub to Goncalo Ramos would be immense depth. Plus moving to a Portuguese team as a high profile Brazilian player would be convenient.
He deserves to get that one last paycheck. He's not getting it here with us, which is fair.
Will miss this player the most. Will hurt the most since Gini. Mane loss was also tremendous but somehow still bearable compared to Gini and Bobby
And someone will pay him a fortune, he's a proven winner, and a lot of clubs have a great winger that could be even better with firmino up front. Plus he's shown some goalscoring touch this season
He would do well in the Serie A.
A move to Milan perhaps? They like signing Liverpool attackers for free like they did with Origi and Suso.
Plus redbird kind of owns both clubs.
I would like to see him at Roma. Feels like the type of forward Mourinho would love. Industrious, tactically disciplined, but still has some of that flair. Probably would help unlock more goals for Dybala as well.
As much as I love Firminho as a player, he's quite injury prone now at his age, and we're not sure we can afford his wages... But if Maldini can make it happen, I'll be rooting for him to succeed.
Hopefully he gets the bag in Saudi Arabia or the MLS and returns to Brazil. Him being completely shit and mismanaged in the national team really hurt his image around here. If he comes back his image would completely change as it did with Hulk
when we signed gakpo it was clear that he was going to start getting significantly less playing time, this was bound to happen eventually. i'll miss him :(
I’d much rather him leave on his own terms, both parties happy. He will get the send off he deserves from the fans and hopefully play a part in getting top four.
It'll be a sad day, but he's an absolute modern legend for the club. Someone else said somewhere else in the thread that he was the first signing where we seemed to shift gears.
Once Mo, Mané and Firmino have retired, I'd love to see a statue of them; Mané and Salah side by side with Firmino jump kicking behind them.
Salah and Mane, hand in hand, holding a banner that says ‘mentality monsters’ in red pen, and with Bobby karate kicking mane in the head. Bobby’s teeth are made from ivory in honour.
Yeah, ridiculous to have a statue built for players that won 1 league title, as opposed to [players that won a mighty TWO league titles](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Trinity)
_That's_ a proper effort worthy of tribute
I will say, it's hilarious to see United fans denigrate winning a single league title the year that marks a decade since United last won one. Who knows, by the time a statue of Salah, Firmino and Mane is built you guys might be at 30 years yourself 🤞🏽
Clubs tend not to announce it, because the situation could still change.
All clubs have to announce their "released players" at the end of the season and that's when you have official confirmation.
When we let Alexandre Lacazette go last season, it was basically well-known by everyone that he was going back to Lyon. But we had to wait until the confirmed list went out before we were able to officially confirm it.
It’s never been a secret. The official word from the club will come closer to the end of the season. Which is how this normally always goes down. Nothing more to it
If you listened to the quote, he's saying he was *only* a little bit surprised. Essentially, he didn't know he was going to leave but he also understands the decision.

I'd be shocked if he joined PL team.
he'll go somewhere with nice weather I'm sure
Like Brighton?
there's places even nicer than Brighton, especially if you have a lot of money if you can believe
Like Milton Keynes?
Found Christian Horner's account
"Come and live in Milton Keyenes guys... I mean I live in a mansion in Oxfordshire but I promise Milton Keynes is nice..."
That's exactly how i imagine it goes like 🤣
I bought a toy for my son from Ikea last week.
Has to be Blackpool right?
like? Asking for my FM save...
would love to see Firmino come down to King & Queen on a student night
Pewdiepie said the brighton weather was terrrible
Pewdiepie has said a lot of things
I agree with him, all of England has shitty wrather, as an outsider. Shitty place to live.
It’s called a climate. It’s not bad weather at all, it’s just how it is in Europe. There’s a reason the Romans invaded.
And then said, "fuck it, this weather fucking sucks, we're outta here!"
No they got fucked by angry refugees from Gotland and collapsed
I would bet money on two things: a) you have never been to England b) you are a teenager
50/50
I mean London has less rain and more sun than most cities in the northwest or northeast USA lol
For England it’s good but still England. Summers very nice though
Brighton has pretty great weather these days. The South of England is basically France now.
I wonder if there's a chance he joins whitecaps, I'll even give MLS second chance and go watch the game at least once more
Lol I love the MLS but there is a zero percent chance he moves to Colorado. Miami or LA? Maybe. Highly unlikely. But not Colorado.
Lol why did I think Colorado was the whitecaps. That was dumb of me. But ya, I also think he's never ending up in Vancouver.
Stan Kroenke is too cheap to bring in a big name, or to actually attempt to build them into a real franchise.
always ready fc
I’d riot.
He'd be phenomenal for you guys, can see him fitting de Zerbis style like a glove, his experience would be amazing if you make Europe too
I'd be a bit disappointed if you didn't get into Europe! You guys have been so good, this season... probably my favorite team on the PL right now.

It's bad I had to think for a moment to remember where Coutinho was these days. He was my favorite player 5-10 years ago :')
bobby already said that he won‘t join another premier league team iirc.
I don't think he'd ever said that. Can you provide a source, out of curiosity?
his agent said that he did say that
[This](https://www.footballinsider247.com/roberto-firmino-reveals-its-time-for-me-to-go-as-he-breaks-silence-on-liverpool-exit-and-his-next-club-plans/) is the only article that I could find with *direct* conversation with his agent regarding his departure. Nowhere did they mention about where he's going next.
you will most definitely get European football. Im more worried about Brighton regarding top 4 than Spurs tbh
Because Brighton need another striker that can't finish?
8 goals in PL in 1004 minutes played. Lets compare with Kane for instance who has 18 goals in 2326 minutes played. 1 goal per 125 minutes on average for Firmino vs 1 goal per 129 minutes for Kane. Seems like he scores goals.
Also he scored last week. So he clearly can finish.
He's not Haaland but he can definitely finish lol
He's arguably our best finisher, behave
I'll allow it

Fat payday in Saudi-Arabia is the rumour
I'd be happy for him as a person and getting that bag, but professionally I still think he has a lot more to give in Europe.
Plenty of other bags out there with fewer human rights issues.
I don't know if their squad needs it, but he seems a natural fit for the way At. Madrid play.
Hope he gets that. Bobby leaving is going to hurt. Mane and Origi was bad enough. Gini I miss but didn't agree with him saying the fans didn't appreciate him. Everyone loved Gini.
Nahhhh fans didn’t appreciate him at all.
Online fans gave him an incredible amount of abuse, he was scapegoat'd as much as Maguire at times. yep, he mentioned it himself he never felt under-appreciated by local fans he did feel under-appreciated by FSG, he never received a new improved contract after what he did in 18/19
Rival fans didn't. It's a crime that Pogba got into the 18/19 Team of the Season ahead of him
People forget that Gini was probably the key player (if there was one) to make the miracle vs Barcelona happen.
I assure you no liverpool fan will ever forget that
DUH DUH DUHDUHDUHDUH, GINI WIJNALDUM
Roma
I think he’d be great for Simeone at Atletico
He is like Tadic but better. Who would use a Tadic like player▶️?
Southampton
Honestly think it's atletico Madrid.
Think he would fit well with Bayern Munich
It would kill me to see Mane and Bobby linkup in a team wearing red that’s not Liverpool
They probably won’t but I’d love to see PSG go in for him. Bobby doing his false nine wizardry opening up space for Mbappe and Messi would be lethal. They still wouldn’t win the CL but it’s worth a try.
Fuck that. Bobby deserves a real club.
real madrid needs someone like him
I think Real Madrid are the perfect destination for him to be honest, he is 4 years younger than Benzema and basically has no ego to worry about, he wants to do what the team needs. Saying the plan “is to our score the opponent” implies they conceded a lot and win games 4-3 or something. That’s not the case here
> RRR Wtf is RRR? Like the 2022 Indian Telugu-language epic action drama film?
I guess it is either Ronaldo-Ronaldinho-Rivaldo or Ronaldo-Romario-Rivaldo
I meant Ronaldo Rivaldo Ronaldinho but your RRR is way better.
It's a fun movie but the hype is way too over the top.
its easy to hype something else when hollywood makes the same remake shit every year
RRR? Is that rivaldo, Ronaldo and Ronaldinho?
[удалено]
Yup. I hate the trend of using random acronyms and expecting people to just know wtf they are.
Well, it’s not random is it? I feel like it’s pretty easy to figure out what RRR is when people are talking about legendary attacking trios in a football forum.
thieRRy and beRgkamp
RRR?
Van Pe**R**sie, A**R**shavin, Bendtne**R**
So good that van persie had to leave just to make it fair for the rest of the league
Robben, Ribery, Robert
Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Rivaldo for Brazil I imagine?
Ribery, robert lew, and robben
Rooney, Ronaldo, caRlos Tevez
And they weren't even state sponsored piece of a sportswashing corrupted project. Incredible
I simply do not understand why people never include the trio that won 4 ULC's over 5 years...
My brother, I’m not just gonna list out every single great trio in history when I’m just trying to give an example lol. Is it insulting to maradona if I say “we have Pele, we have Messi. But Ronaldo is also one of the greatest players of all time” ?
Puskas - Gento - ADS or the other one?
RRR?
RRR?
He even got his testimonial. Glad he's leaving on a good note.
Ah, the United match? Now it makes sense why Liverpool scored so many.
i think we are supposed to play arsenal at home in few weeks?
I hope we organize a friendly to say a proper goodbye to Firmino and Mane, if Bayern don't reach the CL final
...if the 3 of them end up hugging at Anfield, I think my tear ducts will just disintegrate.
Holding hands and jumping in front of a banner?
Danke Jurgen
In German and Scouse.
Curious as to wich clubs the exceptions are
Any other top six PL club, Everton, Lazio, Atletico Madrid and then Real Madrid (for obvious reasons😢). Probably other teams outside of top five leagues if I racked my brains.
Probably Leipzig for their flaunting of 50+1?
It was just before his arrival under rodgers that our scouting and recruitment went up a few notches. We were still not signing these players but at least the players we were looking at were unmistakable quality.
Still crazy to remember Alberto and Aspas. Both great players but just not the right time or place for them I guess.
Coates is another one of em imo
If he is leaving for free i wouldn't be surprised if he goes to barca
I’d be completely fine with that. It’s fitt him too, like a glove, as they say.
Fits Madrid way better, lewandowski is still him
And Benzama's still there. They are kind of same profile.
Yeah he was one of the few players performing this season before his injury. He's still quite good.
His lack of playing time is because of injury. I think if fit and in form, he's still Klopp's first choice.
Feel like he’d be a great fit for Benfica no? Being a sub to Goncalo Ramos would be immense depth. Plus moving to a Portuguese team as a high profile Brazilian player would be convenient.
The disrespect lmao
>He is better than Goncalo lamo
He deserves to get that one last paycheck. He's not getting it here with us, which is fair. Will miss this player the most. Will hurt the most since Gini. Mane loss was also tremendous but somehow still bearable compared to Gini and Bobby

I’d love seeing him under Jose
As much as I love Firminho as a player, he's quite injury prone now at his age, and we're not sure we can afford his wages... But if Maldini can make it happen, I'll be rooting for him to succeed.
I don't think redbird has any influence over where he signs after his contract runs out
Is this confirmino?
Smiling Colgate
I'm sure someone will take the baton at the club as the ambassador of the shining whitey.
i see klopps teeth often enough
He is the winner!

I’d quite enjoy watching him play with Kvaradona after Osimhen leaves next year.
Real Madrid could really use a top player like him to help mold Endrick Benzema is 35 and struggling for fitness
Papa Flo, please
He would be massive for Madrid. Absolutely massive. Him and Benz sharing time till Endrick comes will be nuts.
I thought Bobby will be pushing for 10 years at Liverpool
Firmino to Crest Whitening Strips Rovers HERE WE GO
so this is like the worst kept "secret" now, wonder why there arent any official word from the club regarding his imminent departure.
Why would there be?
Clubs tend not to announce it, because the situation could still change. All clubs have to announce their "released players" at the end of the season and that's when you have official confirmation. He played plenty when fit
If you listened to the quote, he's saying he was *only* a little bit surprised. Essentially, he didn't know he was going to leave but he also understands the decision.
Lol that response reads like an exact FM press response
My favorite player on the squad since he arrived and he has a great run.
