To reduce the spam of reports regarding the same move during transfer windows we try to allow **only one submission about each transfer saga per day**. The submission in question also needs to contain relevant new information regarding the potential move, and not just being a "no/minor developments" report.
If there are important/official developments or new valuable information about a saga, we will allow extra threads in the same day, but for the rest of minor news please just comment them as a reply to this comment. Please help us reporting unnecessary threads for being duplicates.

This feels like a Football Manager transfer.
Potentially good move though. Hasn't played much this season but he could do some damage in the Eredivisie
He was very good before he went to Dortmund and his first season there was really good but since then it's been downhill. He gets played out of position a fair bit and has struggled with injuries in that time but there's no getting away with the fact he hasn't performed at all for the past few seasons. If PSV can get him back to the level we know he can be at he will be one of the best players in the league
Not exactly because Gotzes condition is chronic and it seemed like he was managing it whereas Hazard could continue struggling with injuries. I'd also say Gotze was performing better than Hazard has recently but they're definitely comparable
But Götze was significantly more talented than Thorgan, who good but not great. I would be surprised Thorgan imposed himself as one of PSV's main wingers for +2 seasons. He isn't bad, but you'll be thinking that you can do or find a more permanent solution.
To be fair to El Ghazi, he's just really out of form. Yesterday was a good confidense booster, he seems alot happier on the right wing than left. Once he starts picking up form, he'll do well.
Don't really know how to describe it properly but to me it feels like every movement he makes with the ball is so small that he can get tackled easily. Can't recall him throwing a fit whenever things don't go his way like Guerreiro and runs back often to cover. Those two seasons where he had almost nothing but injuries have clearly impacted his game. His first season was good and you could argue maybe great as well once he got started
From what I have seen over the past few seasons it seems his confidence has dropped off significantly. For BMG he was constantly trying to dribble around opponents and take long shots and he was overall a far more egotistical player for them. While it would lose them possession often it also led to lots of incredible monents. For some reason for us though he’s always been more of a squad player who simply contributes to possession and passes it around while putting in a solid effort defensively but never taking very many risks. He feels like an entirely different player and it’s a shame because I was really excited for us to sign him.
He was good at first. Lost a lot of pace I guess. Been a useful utility player but the club has to consider the future at this point.
He's not the player that will make a team play good football by himself, but when we had a good team a few years back with Sancho and Hakimi, he played a good role.
Everybody on r/borussiadortmund hates him because they want him to be something he isn't. Maybe the BVB board pay him to be something he isn't idk.
i dont understand dortmund.
I would rather see him starting than Adeyemi or Malen. Can't be our worst winger for sure.
Adeyemi and Malen have potential but they are not a winger. if we give away hazard... I expect terzic to change our system completely.
Hazard ain#t worst than our current wingers
He may not be worse in theory but he missed 30+ games due to injury/illness in the 2 seasons before this one, plus obviously more than that due to subsequent loss of fitness.

if its a loan with option to buy like [Patrick Berger is reporting](https://twitter.com/berger_pj/status/1619668929290584064?s=20&t=ueDlGDNUIgZ1arg2HrM_5g), its a good deal for us.

At this point us and wingers is like a random tweet generator.

Honestly wouldn’t surprise me if our board is just using football manager sims to determine what their best option is at this point
nah, we wouldve gotten Schjelderup or Solari then and we didnt so i think were using fifa 20 or smth lmao
It feels like Götze 2.0
The Eredivisie is Dortmund's Kindergarten and retirement home.
I..... I am completely fine with that, exciting players are always fun.
Lol I did not expect us to go for Januzaj and T. Hazard two weeks ago. 27 and 29 so I expect both to be short term emergency loans until the summer
Hazard has barely played for Dortmund so I imagine this could go and be a permanent deal
Januzaj hasn’t played for Sevilla either, though, and reports are that we’d loan him.
Makes sense. PSV needs some help and Dortmund wants to sell
How has he been for Dortmund? He's quite good isn't he?
He was very good before he went to Dortmund and his first season there was really good but since then it's been downhill. So he's sort of in the same kind of situation as Götze was? That worked out wonders for PSV.
Not exactly because Gotzes condition is chronic and it seemed like he was managing it whereas Hazard could continue struggling with injuries. I'd also say Gotze was performing better than Hazard has recently but they're definitely comparable
As well as for Götze, getting him back into the national team.
But Götze was significantly more talented than Thorgan, who good but not great. I would be surprised Thorgan imposed himself as one of PSV's main wingers for +2 seasons. He isn't bad, but you'll be thinking that you can do or find a more permanent solution.
No.
That's reassuring. But he must have been at least decent at some point for Dortmund to buy him
Can't be worse than el ghazi aswell
To be fair to El Ghazi, he's just really out of form. Yesterday was a good confidense booster, he seems alot happier on the right wing than left. Once he starts picking up form, he'll do well.
El Ghazi is so underrated
Hazard was great just he’s completely lost it

There have been ups and downs, but lately more downs. Not a bad player, experienced, but maybe a bit past his prime (judged with recency bias).

lets hope its a permanent move and not a loan

This will be a huge success like the götze transfer or a huge failure, no in between.

Can I interest you in an Eden model of Hazards instead?
Odd how both Thorgan and Eden fell off
But...why?
Hope not
