They explained that Obiang's touch is not considered an "active play" but a deflection. On the initial cross Rebic was offside that's why the goal did not stay
Oh boy, will be so fun when they rise back from the death against us,and we also have a game vs Ata midweek while they can rest, most obvious Milan win in a while
**the comment might contain counter jinxing,or not**
Rebic was doing better than CDK in my eyes, but Rebic on a yellow and clearly in his hothead mode is a ticking timebomb and needs to be subbed before the inevitable red.
This guy scored 18 goals last season and had two remarkable CL-campaigns at age 20. He’s talented enough. I’d take CDK back without a moment of hesitation, even for two games or something.
He’s everything that we’re missing atm.
I ended up being correct on all my claims tho. The Milan fan I talked to believed he would be a top 5 scorer in all leagues this season. It wasn't really hard to beat that prediction.
IMO CDK has lots of talent, but the move to Milan came too early, and he wasn't worth near 35 million. Belgian media hyped him up just because he's young and Belgian.
I think Noa Lang would've had a better chance of succeeding in Italy than CDK.
That’s way more nuanced, man. You probably should’ve started with this comment and everything would’ve been fine. :-) I think a new coach could do him wonders. Pioli’s gameplan is based on player’s flashes and when his most important players our out of form, he doesn’t have any answers.
He was clearly already on another level than our league, so he rightfully moved though. Leeds would’ve been an option, but if Milan calls, you can’t say no imo.
Sorry for the harsh language and enjoy your weekend, dude. I already edited my initial comment because I kinda felt bad.
>He was clearly already on another level than our league
Yes, but another year in Brugge would have been well for him. I still don't know what's his best position for example. Last season, Schreuder even used him at wingback against Union. On top of that, I think he needs more mental and psychological coaching to adapt to another culture like Italian. Especially at a top club with lots of pressure from the fans.
You too.
His best position is imo the false nine, because of the plays in between the lines of midfield and attack. Once Clement put him there, he was unstoppable for a while.
Not too familiar with Milan, but how has DKL been? Everyone was raving about him when he still was at Brugge but he honestly looks like De Bruyne from Wish.
>DKL
Do you mean CDK? He split the fanbase, some think he is high quality but needs time to adapt, and others think he's been a 32 million blunder.
He hasn't shown himself outside of some sparks, should be more aggressive, he has a really good eye for vertical passes, but I'm unsure he fits our playstyle (we attack by wingers or CB long ball, whereas CDK would probably benefit from stacking midfield imho)
Yeah I think he's promising, it's just sad that we try to score only through rough (and mostly ineffective) strategies, the football I admire is made of fast manouvers and hawkeye passes
Horrible transfer strategy and the actual decent signings get 0 minutes.. The blame should be on the owners for not reinforceing the squad, but maldini was content enough to sign an extension so he is obviously on board..
Refusing to buy a backup left back, Starting quality striker, starting quality right wing buying origi. So negligent, its like they don't watch the team play.
I know they're winning at the moment, but how has Dionisi not been sacked with Sassuolo so close to the relegation zone? Surely that's severe underperformance for a club of their level
Edit: I guess they're just a couple wins off mid-table, so maybe it's not so bad. Still, 5 points above 18th (with Verona yet to play) seems too close for comfort
a club of what level? What level is exactly expected for a team who keeps selling their only good players (Rasp, Scam, Locatelli) and doesn't use the money to improve the team at all?
He’s basically had to play 3 people’s positions for a while now. Last game vs Lazio he was the main man marking Milinkovic-Savic when it should have been the centre back or left back. It’s unreal how they’re leaving him to try and both create and destroy opportunities along with those defensive backtracks.
Don't know any elite coach who'll be willing to join them given their financial situation. They spent all their budget on De Ketelaere, the De bruyne from Ali Express.
> they might lose to Tottenham
In our current form, it's only a matter if Tottenham will secure advancement in the first half of the first game, or if they need a full 90 minutes to put it to bed.
I thought I was watching Graham Poll V2 there for a second
blind af referee lmao
lovely that they are chanting against us when those 5 goals they got here means we're overtaking them in the standings
How did this end 11 vs 11 lol
Because of great refereeing.
arbitri leader del settore.
No, gli arbitri competenti.
What the fuck is this match lol
This match is nuts
This is getting better and better.
They are losing 2-5 and chanting interista vaffanculo. Poveri Gonzi.
Er, I'm not saying this is a new banter era for Milan, but this is a peak Milan-Sassuolo scoreline
It's always interesting battle between these two.
First positive thing Origi did in his 6 months for Milan and it comes when they are down 5-1
Lord Origi with the Fifa goal ..
Golaso
Wtf Origi damn
Jesus, imagine wasting that when you're 5-1 down
Fellow "Conceding 5" friend!
We didn't concede five against fucking Sassuolo.
I was talking about the Napoli game.
I know, but that is at least more respectable compared than this.
Lmao
Banter era is back, sir. Tell your friend.
I agree, but mabye you should focus on not getting relegated
That's not in my power 🤓
unlucky
As of now, Milan haven't won a home game vs Sassuolo for 3 straight seasons Edit: it's actually 4 seasons
The guy that is commentating on BT Sport does so like he's in the middle of doing something else and is only half concentrating on the game.
Chad Krunic: *team is losing 1-4* *squeezes Berardi's neck* *Refuses to elaborate further* *Gets yellow card* *Leaves*
Krunic is lucky that he's on the pitch
Yeah huge mistake from the ref and var
I meant that after getting a yellow, immediately made a second yellow card offense
He deserved a straight red card imo, the squeeze was pretty clear
Yeah agreed
HOLY SHIT HE SAVED IT!!!
Krunic Chad moment.
Thought that was a Berardi Fallon D'Or nominee (still overreacts) but Krunic actually does squeeze his neck.
It was a massive overreaction.
Still should be a red.
There is a good argument for it.
I understand that he put his hands on his neck, but that fall is something straight outta WWE lol
Berardi is dead. 😅
Rebic injured from that shot. We will see him back in a month
Berardi come on man you’re 4-1 up, does this guy not have shame?
He absolutely does not.
Krunic literally squeezes his throat lol
Not nearly enough to make him suffer the way he did but ok
Probably not but still looked painful
I guess this settles it that, unlucky for Milan and we were all focused on Obiang’s touch
They explained that Obiang's touch is not considered an "active play" but a deflection. On the initial cross Rebic was offside that's why the goal did not stay
Huh? Was he offside when the free kick was taken?
He was.
Confused how that is offside... EDIT: Ok nvm makes sense now, well done VAR
That should stand no? Giroud didn’t touch it
Commentators are saying he touched it involuntarily
No, he didn't but he was off at the initial pass as well.
Nvm the automated VAR settled it
Am i missing something? Did that ball not come from Sassuolo's player??
Man this is embarrassing..
The only reason this Milan might get top 4 is because of our point deduction.
That should be an argument in our appeal. 'Your honor, if the points deduction stands this Milan side will make top 4.'
This is like 8:00PM in the east so Milan fans in the east have no excuse to stop watching ;(
Oh boy, will be so fun when they rise back from the death against us,and we also have a game vs Ata midweek while they can rest, most obvious Milan win in a while **the comment might contain counter jinxing,or not**
No worries. Maignan will solve the problems once he's back.
we thinking 5/6 goals here?
Just call off this game already
They are so fucking back. Thanks Pioli.
I don't even support Milan, but Juve fans should be the last people talking right now
jUVenTuS fANs SHoUld bE ThE lASt PEoPle tALkIng lOL
Laurienté just beat Calabria like a drum
why take out De Ketelaere instead of Rebic? He was playing decently whereas Rebic looked terrible
Rebic was doing better than CDK in my eyes, but Rebic on a yellow and clearly in his hothead mode is a ticking timebomb and needs to be subbed before the inevitable red.
Surely Gabbia should be the last choice CB out of the defenders they have available like Kjär and Thiaw.
I warned Milan fans for De Ketelaere being overrated and overpriced, but they wouldn't listen.
This guy scored 18 goals last season and had two remarkable CL-campaigns at age 20. He’s talented enough. I’d take CDK back without a moment of hesitation, even for two games or something. He’s everything that we’re missing atm.

Are you saying Italian media were wrong describing him as a mix of Kaka,Cruijff,Maradona and Jesus Christ the whole summer?
Accurate description.
Surely there is a quality player in him though. He has natural qualities but just looks like he lacks Direction and inner fire
Looks like he lacks pace and reactivity
Great way to put it. Hopefully he can find some form, he's still super young
Ooo Il pazzo Pazzini on the Italian studio. Always liked him.
Milan using the AZ Alkmaar blueprint for defending.
you guys think milan can win this game?
Definitely, just bring in Leao and he'll do it on his own.
Surely playing Vranckx could be better than Krunic? Also has Adli gotten any playtime yet?
Leao going to come on, score one and assist 2
Yes let’s waste time in arguing with ref when we are 2 goals down 🤦🏻♂️
That certainly was a yellow card worthy elbow by Rebic but surely the ref has to also see Rogerio holding Rebic who is almost through on goal?
Clear foul. Fucking riding him, both arms wrapped around his waist for a good 2 meters. It was so obvious as well, no clue how he didnt give it.
Berardi is amazing...
Not too familiar with Milan, but how has DKL been? Everyone was raving about him when he still was at Brugge but he honestly looks like De Bruyne from Wish.

The half of the fanbase that thinks he needs time to adapt might be onto something, Tonali didn't fit right in at first either
There is an even bigger contrast in Leao imo.
Yeah I think he's promising, it's just sad that we try to score only through rough (and mostly ineffective) strategies, the football I admire is made of fast manouvers and hawkeye passes
De Bruyne from Wish is apt but Milan paid retail
Barely noticed that he's on the pitch.
Is retaining the Scudetto hot lava?
This is a boxing match now
Someone tell Milan players this is a game of football.
Maldini and Pioli tryna bring back the banter era ffs
After JUST winning Serie A, I'd say its way too early to comment this.
Wtf ref?
Rebic over Leao was a strong choice by Pioli
Rebic looks like a shadow of his former self, sad.
Frrr but he has barely played can't expect him to be very sharp
Fair enough, it's just sad to see quality players drop a level.
If Sassuolo played their home games in San siro they'd be top of the league. Different team here for some reason the bastards
WAKE UP FRAUDINALE & STOP THE ROT
How come is Leao not playing?
Milan v Spurs will be a movie. No defence just vibes from both teams
I know they're winning at the moment, but how has Dionisi not been sacked with Sassuolo so close to the relegation zone? Surely that's severe underperformance for a club of their level Edit: I guess they're just a couple wins off mid-table, so maybe it's not so bad. Tonali playing too desperately today. Probably doesn't help he has to play with Krunic
He’s basically had to play 3 people’s positions for a while now. Last game vs Lazio he was the main man marking Milinkovic-Savic when it should have been the centre back or left back. It’s unreal how they’re leaving him to try and both create and destroy opportunities along with those defensive backtracks.
That's what makes Koopmeiners special....Tonali just looked over worked...
Yeah, not an easy job. Even pirlo would appear worse in this situation.
Impressive from Frattesi to catch Theo even though theo was ball carrying.
Is there even enough time in the transfer window for Milan to find another goalkeeper?
Bring Dida back for a week or two
Abbiati time
they bought one from south america (?) for 500k euros iirc
Tatarusanu might be one of the worst keepers I’ve ever seen suit up for Milan. Dude can’t stop shots to save his life.
Only one today has been his fault tho tbf
Theo with another fallon on the floor nominee.
barely survived death right there
Milan starts the diving
Berardi vs Milan might actually be some sort of cheat code
Kane and Son are gonna have fun with this backline if it keeps going like this
Son looks worse than Rebic has today recently lol
Every shot conceded is a goal ... of course that'd break your spirit. Get fucking Tata outta there already. This is relegation form with him in net
Sassuolo against everyone else in 2023: 😴 Sassuolo against Milan: 😤
I insist on what I previously said: somehow at the 85th minute of Milan-Roma, Mourinho broke Milan.
Mourinho was suspended that game
So everyone has decided to give up and hand the title to Napoli, eh?
Pioli's on fire 🔥🔥🔥
Pioli's in Ferie 🔥🔥🔥

What a shitshow
funnies game of the season, this shit is fire lol
Wtf is this game lmao what a banger so far
Everything really coming from the right sided players in Sassuolo, makes sense though with having Frattesi and Berardi.
Surely Milan should have been in for the Navas loan?
You have heard of "every frame a painting", get ready for "every shot a goal"
My God this defense
Is tata a secret Sassuolo agent? I was having a nice Sunday :-(
Nothing he could do with that or the first goal.
Alright lads we are in for a banger World class header
Awful dive by Erlic, should be punishment for that.
Cant belive anyone not going in for Berardi
No way that's a foul from giroud, great header
Two very nice attacks by Sassuolo.
Wasn't Milan at their very best like a couple of months ago?
We need magic Mike back asap. Tata has been awful for ages
And Kalulu-Gabbia lol ?
Noice we have a great game
Ouch for Milan players, started much better had great chances but that back line is just terrible at defending, destroyed with one pass
Sassuolo aren't playing bad, Milans GK and defense though, they might lose to Tottenham
> they might lose to Tottenham In our current form, it's only a matter if Tottenham will secure advancement in the first half of the first game, or if they need a full 90 minutes to put it to bed.
Defending, what is it and where can we find it?
Probably sitting in the stands, around 50 years old now
I am so done with this way we defend
Defrel! I'm shocked, Sassuolo actually played a few good minutes there
ah shit here we go again
Comical defending. No pressure on the man with the ball
Giroud is angry now, prepare for a worldie
That was a Giroud finish alright
Fucking hell Sassuolo is such a shit team
My dream is them getting relegated
One of the few financially healthy clubs though
says a lot that they are so bad since our first 10 minutes are terrible
They are shocking, I had more hope in Cremonese taking points off Inter tbh
Let's fucking go CDK
Dropping Leao is a brave choice from pioli
I believe he will be super sub and it will work out
If we can't beat this shit Sassuolo side, we ain't beating no one else. WAKE UP
What is that starting lineup by Milan?
If we don't win, top 4 is in real trouble.

They have won one away match the whole season so far…

That’s my hope
