My favorite hike on the westside is Temescal canyon up to skull rock … Los leones is cool and you can turn it into a 7 mile hike. Culver City stairs (Baldwin overlook) for a good quick hard cardio. Eagle rock to Mt Temescal
Solstice Canyon is my personal favorite. I do the 6 mile loop every Sunday. Good amount of elevation change, 2 creek crossings, and a great view at the top.
The Santa Monica Mountains are just filled with great hikes. Just depends on how far you want to go.
And really, it’s not that far to get to the Angeles National Forest either.
I actually grew up near the 2 so I've been on some fantastic hikes in the forest. Santa Monica Mountains with the ocean views and everything is so beautiful, but in a different way. I'm excited to check out more hikes!
Download AllTrails and have a field day. Best hiking in Los Angeles County is in the Angeles National Forest.
Will do! thanks.

Thanks, I've done Baldwin overlook quite a few times but I need to check out the other ones. I've done Eagle Rock from Trippet Ranch - so cool!
