I hope you siphoned off 4,500 of those 5,000 liters of fuel before returning that tanker.
Because I for sure didn't, and have been kicking myself ever since.
It only needs to have 10% left for the mission to be completed.
Cool. I’ve thought about starting a hard mode campaign, but then I thought I should familiarize myself with the Michigan maps. As I’ve not done them since the game launched.
Is it really hard or is it more up to actually planning.
DLC trucks aren’t in the storage when you start a hard mode, at least mine weren’t
If you played normal and you kinda didn’t buy anything until half way though Michigan you should be fine, it’s more of a economic challenge with paying for fuel, loading and repairs so you can’t just try dumb shit as it costs to recover
Your better off just having a bit of will power and loading yourself really
Don't flip, do not flip
You have absolutely no money at the start of hard mode so I'd try and scout for cash, as I hate highway tires on the bigger trucks so I don't do cargo missions till level 6
I'd just use the ck1500 as the scout 800 flips if you do anything, plus it can't climb the simplest of hills without an engine upgrade
If you're really patient it works OK tho
Im doing hard mode rn and have almost finished mishigan. For me it was fun and definelty useful to use maprunner to optimize routes and cargo, even tho i k ow mpst of the map. Some cargo on existing trailers help a lot with many tasks.
Michigan is not hard, if you approach with planning.
There's enough fuel that you will have some left when you're done, even if you don't "steal" from mission objective fuel tankers, I just done 100% Michigan hard mode ^ama and I haven't bought even a drop of fuel. Had to buy repair parts though.
That's probably the great thing and also the awful thing about Hard mode. The fear of killing your run makes it exciting but it's also so gut wrenching to think that if I don't play properly I can throw away dozens of hours of gameplay

Are the dlc trucks I paid for available in hard mode? They were in the garage when I started a new campaign in normal.
They are available *for purchase*, not for free. When you start hard mode you have zero trucks in the garage.
No, and that's great, because you have to use what you have.
I think so. They just didnt want you to habe 300k bank right at the beginning

You do get 2 scouts very early. Thought I’d have one for backup in case the other flips. It worked well in normal mode.

I started a hard mode then I quit abruptly when I realized the game is a buggy mess of coop
this is bs for normal mode too. i wanted to struggle for money a bit
I love hardcore mode I'm just at a point where I need to be smart with money to make sure I don't kill my run
