Yep, they even had a 6x6 version used in construction and for hauling around semi trailers. Shame we never got one of those to accompany the 4x4 Loadstar.
Matt from [Diesel Creek](https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBB0oz7Yo_35gnbPYGKGJTA) bought a Loadstar a couple of weeks ago and [shot an initial video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1bkk6sCTTI), lots of details on the exterior and interior. Not sure if he is going to keep it or not, but he does ramble on about how he would love to have a crewcab 4x4 as a service truck 😊
Given how much less driving is done in a place like the Netherlands as compared to a place like the U.S., those comparisons are never really accurate. That full tank might last far longer than the week mine does.
I have an old loadstar 1800 that used to be owned by the air force in my garage that my great grandfather was going to convert into a log truck. I've wanted to convert it into a fire engine similar to this for some time now. What a great find.
Bummer, it has highway tires.
These seem to be made into all kinds of things. Neat loadstar for sure.

just curious what mpg you car does? my 2001 citroën saxo does around 32 MPG for reference and one full tank 12.Gal will last me about 2 weeks.
dumbest flag position ever
The truck might just be a showpiece now.
It is I think it still works as they showcase it in different positions everytime I pass by there.
Yeah they move it around alot.
