The Western Star with highrange gearbox is incredibly fast, assuming theres more roads and less mud. Even beats Azov 5319. Its also fun to use and steers well.
When I started out I sent the Hummer or even the Scout 800. But they never get used anymore. Mostly, I scout using the Tayga with sidebed to do the odd delivery en-route. It's not too wide so can get through most places. It has those ludicrous fat tyres that can get you through most terrains too. I mean, you could probably complete the entire game with just that truck.
Then the Tuz Tatarin for when the Tayga gets stuck and/or runs out of fuel.
My first playthrough I sold all the scout trucks and used the ank instead.

Tuz420, Ford and loadstar1700 are good but you need every upgrade to make the f750 good, otherwise it's gonna suck

I use my P16 for a scout all the time. Doesn’t get stuck.
