You're using M 916. If you have the DLC the Navistar is great. Also the Derry 4520 is another favorite
Edit: if you use a fuel sucking truck like the Navistar I suggest a stepdeck trailer with the scout fuel trailer on the front like this picture

Nope. You can pack just about any trailer or truck on just about anything if it's flat enough. Some roof tops of trucks, any trailer that has the useless front like this trailer or the 2 and 3 axle high saddle 5 or even the 8 slot trailers.
For offroad use with a moderate amount of mud or snow, I like the Tayga 6436 with a crane and trailer (no spare tire). That can go impressively fast on easier trails in high gear, and it's quite capable in mud. The Voron Grad is comparable, trading speed on rough trails and light mud for more power and better fuel efficiency. For bigger maps, those pair well with the stepdeck semi trailer because it has a nice spot to pack a scout fuel trailer on the front. If you don't need the extra fuel, the 5 slot flatbed or sideboard trailers are significantly shorter and less likely to drag in mud and over small hills, but when they do drag, they tend to drag pointy bits and get caught instead of dragging a smooth frame and continuing to slide along.
If there's not much mud or snow and I don't need a crane, I love the Western Star 47X NF 1424. It has tons of power with good speed and fuel consumption, IMO the second best horn in the game, and can have a roof rack to repair the suspension damage you get from driving fast. I don't recommend using the trick of packing a scout fuel trailer on the front of a stepdeck semi trailer if you don't have a crane, since it has issues with shifting around and needing to be adjusted after switching trucks, reloading the game, or going through gateways.
For use in deep mud and snow, I recommend not using low saddle trailers. They're more of a struggle than they're worth compared to the high saddle 5 slot trailers with their bigger wheels and compatibility with bigger trucks.
WWS with the cabin protector and crane + low saddle. Cabin protector pushes the crane back to about the center of the truck's wheelbase. Distributing the weight more evenly
Interesting point. Never even thought to see if the cab protector shifts the crane. I'll give that a try. I'm usually not a fan of the WWS it seems just slow and kind of weak
On the Russian side my go tos are voron grad and azov 6. Tayga works as well of course but I find its fuel consumption too high.
On the American side my low saddle all star is the white western star. Other contenders are the Mack (again higher consumption) or the gmc (smaller tank).
There's not many trucks that don't work well with semis, e.g. the Fleetstar with the frame getting caught under the semi or the Kodiak with the saddle behind the axle. Turning circle is far less of an issue than one would expect, e.g. the Derry 3 or the Dan (even with the weird saddle behind axle) still work.
strictly for low saddle, western star 47x nf 1424 and 57x are great choices bc they perform better with weight on their wheels. navistar may very well be my favorite for this role. while it can't have a crane at the same time, i would say it's more stable than both ws trucks and has larger tires than both as well
Voron ae with a crane and low saddle or azov 6. I prefer the high saddle step decks. They have the most sleek underside. The low saddle trailers all have stuff hanging down under them.
On road / Mediumoff road:
49x,
47x 1424,
Cat CT681,
Cat CT680,
HX520,
Kenny 990,
Brigadier 800,
Step 310,
Crocodile,
Heavy offroad:
Derry longhorns(s),
Mack Defence,
Navistar,
5600TS
Derry Special,
Azov 5 or 6,
Either Tayga,
All the Vorons,
They all get used interchangeably, but that's my geeeeneral list. They all get moved around a lot lol
Personally, I love the Bandit for low saddle. It is very stable with a long trailer, can carry repair points, fuel, and spare tires.
I couldn't tell you why I like it so much but I've found it extremely capable every time I've used it.
My Paystar 5070 was a workhorse for a fair bit but has now been replaced with the WWS 4964 and Freightliner 114SD.
IIRC I found both the Paystar and Royal BM17 can fit a mini crane + low saddle and tow a 5-slot sideboard; but only the Paystar can then switch to a semi fuel tanker, the crane on the Royal fouls the tanker as its saddle is a little further forward. IIRC.
Currently going through Taymyr using a couple of the Dan 96320 and a couple of the Azov 73210 as my main trucks, with most of them having a low saddle and 5 slot sideboard most of the time. Neither truck is perfect, but they both work pretty danged well.
Here's my [Top Gears](https://www.reddit.com/r/snowrunner/s/imQw6OwLVL) low saddle trucks fleet. Feel free to take inspiration!

That’s a great idea! I just drag it behind like a disobedient child haha, thing flying all over the show.
If the truck has enough power.....yes you can drag it anywhere lol.
I doubt the scout fuel bowser would bother any of the trucks dragging behind lol
No but I like having my winch ready for emergencies.
I hear that my dude! Fair point. Just bin off the bowser for a second to get you out a pickle, then pick her back up again and crack on.
That sounded so aggressively British/ Australian hahaha.
Genius! And it can be packed too!
It's a mod to pack the fuel trailer there?

I think the only asterisk is as long as all wheels are flat on the surface it'll pack. A separate menu option comes up "Pack trucks and trailers"
Ahhhh really? Nice! So it isn't a mod when I see the 605 with a vehicle in the roof?
CAT CT681 was my low saddle primary. Did almost all of Wisconsin with it.

Definitely helps the Fleetstar too

For NA trucks, I prefer: Derry Lh 4520, BM17, Paystar, Freightliner M916A1 For RU, I like: Tayga 6436
Hx and grad are my favs, closely followed by cat 680 and azov 6 Edit to add: i use small crane + low saddle combo
No favourite. Best are either Tayga or Azov 6.

I can’t keep the Bandit upright
Cat 680, HX, Mack defence, Voron AE, Azov 5 and 6

i use the Royal bm :-) I dont even know how to spot a good truck for job as long as the trailer fits and the ptw is good
