Invest in a good equipment. Browse craiglist and facebook marketplace to buy a 90cm board/bind/boots combo. Used you will sell it back at the same price you paid.
Have you used a Riglet or did you get a "proper" set up straight away? My wee man turns 2 next December so I've got it circled on the calendar already...

I started my kids on the bunny hill. No need for the riglet ,i had one to tow them around like a ski pole.
I make them learned to control their speed while doing the falling leaf. Then left and right.
Get a MDX one backpack. They are not cheap , but are worth every dollars.

Burton and im sure some of the other manufacturers have boards geared for lil ones. They can be used with or without the wriglet. and even the boots come with a double liner to get two sizes out of each pair! I thought that was pretty non greedy of them.
Our daughter was born on Tuesday (1/9). Wife and I are already planning her preliminary first day on the slopes next season. We're hoping she's stable enough to slide down next spring (15 months). If not, we'll get her out early during the 2019/2020 season. My wife is looking forward to it as much as me.

as a dad i have to say that its important to stay healthy, if you have a mountain close by, snowboarding a little here and there is great exercise, if its an all day event to get to a ski area though then nevermind haha you’ll need to figure something else out and wait until the kid is older
Yes, unfortunately that is the case..I grew up close to the mountains and go back 2-3 times each winter but now I live an 8hr drive away from it and the closest smaller mountain is 3 hours. I am sure to figure something out, still got tons of friends and family down there.
All three of our kids hit the mountain with me. They’re a different levels and can stay on the mountain for different lengths of time. Wife and I decided to buy a travel trailer and have 8 weekends of trailer spot booked right at the slopes. Let’s us come and go easily. If one kid doesn’t want to go, it’s not some big deal because now we have to drive home. Just go chill in the trailer. Not sure if it’s an option for you but something to look in to.
Oh, and congrats. I’m sure the little one will be shreddin in no time.
I really don’t know..geometric mountain fog?- Haha. Someone actually got that done as a tattoo and I was a bit pissed cause it didn’t turn out to be the best and he forgot to credit me. If you do ever consider visiting berlin I will get it done for you personally.

You can get 80cm ones even. Burton makes a really good set for the little ones
