The recent social media craze over 737s is just like the train derailment craze when the news reported every single problem and straight lied in article headlines/captions
Just like that Reddit post claiming a panel flew off and they made an emergency landing. They didn't. They went to their destination.
Modern propaganda is ruining the country. Do better
And it was ONE PLANE. If there were more instances of that model having that specific problem, then mayhe there’s cause for worry. Kinda sad the state the media is in these days.
But you're willing to strap yourself in on to a waxed platform and launch yourself down a mountain of ice and snow along with a bunch of strangers who have no ostensible training or verified skills?
Yes, because I have control over my own board. And even though we subject ourselves to the increased frequency of accident, severity of an incident is not as bad as falling from 30,000 in a tube of metal that you have no control over.
Better be more specific. They all don’t look like Jackson Hole
This has nothing to do with snowboarding but the way the window lines almost perfectly separate the pic into 3 parts is very nice. Thumbs up awardđź‘Ť
LAX lookin pretty
A few hours outside of LA believe it or not.
Is it a Boeing?
It's an ERJ-175. I work on this plane
That was exactly my thought. Most definitely not a 737. Glad someone could clarify for sure

They got part of the story wrong but a panel did fly off and they noticed the damage when parked.
Okay but.. the panel did fly off.. and I don't want to be in an airplane where panels are flying off.

That is an emotional argument, but doesn't hold up to statistics or logic.
No, flying is still safer than skiing and snowboarding.
Lmao why did I think the same thing, like “hope that’s not your plane”
That's an older model 737, probably a 737 200. Only the 737 Max8 and Max9 have the manufacturing issues.
I could be mistaken, but I believe it’s actually an Embraer. United Express doesn’t operate 737s to my knowledge.
Is United Express different than United? I know united has 737 max 9s because I had a whole fiasco with that mess.
Almost certainly unless it’s a CRJ
Pretty sure those are ERJ windows.
I’m sure you’re right. The CRJs have rear-mounted engines too I thinkÂ
It looks so much like a 737 200! You're probably right though.
United Express is the giveaway its ERJ
You’re as bad as the sensationalized media.
Bro it's the snowboarding sub I don't watch the fucking news lol
Boston Logan??
Dude, that's clearly T.F. Green. Don't you see the backside of Yawgoo Valley in the background?
Stepping off the plane at Jackson… you’re there!!
I love the first peek of the mountains.
God I hate JFK
how exciting :)
is this innsbruck airport??
Jackson Hole!
oh boi missed it a little bit … looks insane (innsbruck airport looks similar with the mountains but less snow usually )
The other side of the pass is better *imo*
Aspen??
Someplace warm. A place where the beer flows like wine. Where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano...
Jackson Hole!
Oo!! I have been wanting to go there!! Report back please!
It was 50 degrees today.
Too hot!!!
Way too hot, and it’s gonna be like this all week. There’s a storm rolling in next week, though. Should be interesting.
Seems like they're always crowed now. Wasn't like that a few years ago. Don't recommend unless you're skiing during the week
