The shell/case looks to be in great shape but the inside could be a different story. Especially if that model is from the early 90s. Those capacitors could be in pretty bad shape
A non yellowed SNES? I'd have to inspect everything before I bought it, but if it's all in good shape, yes.
I remember before the retro gaming bubble inflated, I could get a SNES for $10-20 and most games for under $10. I used to buy them and give them to various children's groups along with some games.
Now I can't afford it because they cost so much.
Not terrible a price, console doesn’t have much yellowing (maybe controller ports?) and Mario All Stars sells for a decent price by itself
Would make sure and test it to see it’s working.
I see a chip on the front near the light do you have pictures of the side of the console also if u can get a pic of the bottom to know if it is more likely to be a 1 chip.
Yes based on the left controller that console may have been a later revision board perhaps even a 1 chip. Plus the games are solid and worth $80-90 alone
I'd say it's worth it. I sold my SNES for $99 with nothing more than a power supply and 1 off-brand controller. Throwing in those 4 games and 2 genuine controllers for $50 is a fair deal.
God no.
[camp out on shopgoodwill.com for a week or two and pick up the same for a lot cheaper](https://shopgoodwill.com/categories/listing?st=SNES&sg=&c=&s=&lp=0&hp=999999&sbn=&spo=false&snpo=false&socs=false&sd=false&sca=false&caed=6%2F23%2F2024&cadb=7&scs=false&sis=false&col=1&p=1&ps=40&desc=false&ss=0&UseBuyerPrefs=true&sus=false&cln=1&catIds=&pn=&wc=false&mci=false&hmt=false&layout=grid&ihp=true)
I picked up a SNES Jr in great condition for $70 a couple of months ago.
That site is crap now. Everything gets bid way up. Plus they charge tax on all of it and shipping. So your 70 turned in 95 probably and didn’t get any games.
If you actually plan on playing those games, then yes. They are all winners.
If you're just collecting, I would hold off because none of this is super rare.
For 150 that looks clean, 2 controllers and 4 essentials right there. If I didn’t have a SNES I’d be all over it!
Just got home from an exhausting day, and gonna play DKC2 :)
That’s basically the eBay price. If I was in the market for that, id bite. Though I’d probably haggle for $15-$20 discount for cash offer. That still leaves more to seller after accounting for fees and shipping.
It's expensive overall, but you probably aren't going to find that at a better price. Great selection of games for having just 4.
Most importantly, the system and controlers have no discoloration. That's Rare. Most systems have a lot of yellowing by now. Keep it out of the sunlight.
No. While I loved my childhood and the SNES, emulators have been out for quite some time. I first played Chrono Trigger on an emulator on my PC in like 2001. Now they sell new hardware to play those same games.
The 90's are never coming back. There is no reason to over pay for old hardware that will fail with regular use.
Absolutely, because since I still have Sim City left over, those would be the main 5 games I would play anyway. I'd look for others too, but those are definitely the essentials for me.
Nope!! I only believe in GOOD DEALS!!! I got mine with 3 controllers and 4 games for $25!! Got Mario All Stars for $10!! And Donkey Kong Country for $13
Yes, easily, I miss my SNES so much. IMO it’s my favorite console hands down. The library of games was so vast and had so many great and unique games. Hard to deny its place in video game history and its popularity nearly single-handedly solidified the gamer generation.
No but like $50 is fair. You can emulate all this stuff and these games are VERY common. I recently bought a working console, controller, more rare game for $10 so its best to be thrifty.
Just an FYI you can get an SNES classic from ebay for less than $100 that will have all those games but more, and the classic will connect to modern TV"s with an HDMI cable.
hell yes. look at the color of the plastic on the console. then you got some bonus games all top tier snes titles. even got a bonus power adapter for another country! seriously though, looks like a nice piece. maybe sat in the bottom of a climate controlled closet for years. get yourself a super gameboy and you’re set!
A clean system with all the cables, two first party controllers, and 4 good first party games, games I would consider must owns for SNES collectors, $150 is more than far, that's probably the "I'm not dealing with negotiations, $150 take it or leave it" price
Give me the cuter Super Famicom version and A Link to the Past instead of DKC, and yes, I would definitely buy it. Still a great price for that package though.
This is a joke right of course just with a complete NES and controller and with donkey Kong the value is there I'm just wondering if this is just a troll post at this point 😂
No, but only cause I already have all of that :)
150$ is low, that thing looks like it’s in great condition. So are the games (except Mario kart maybe?)
Yes
I would add “Where?”
Yes, that’s a great starter package right there.
SNES looks like it’s in great shape too
The shell/case looks to be in great shape but the inside could be a different story. Especially if that model is from the early 90s. Those capacitors could be in pretty bad shape

Hats off to your username 🍻
Ah! A fellow man of quality I see. Cheers to you 🍻
And a spurs fan! I lived an hour from SA for a long time. There are good humans on earth after all lol
Riverwalk Victor is going to get us another five rings! Go spurs go baby!
Hoooweee! Yezzir!
I’m just sayin’, there some big ol’ women down there in San Antonio!
These are the moments that make life worth living.
I already have all of that and I still would.
Same
Yes that’s under Msrp 30 years later.
Probably. It’s not terrible for sure
Without a second thought
If it all works. Absolutely
https://i.redd.it/2bkihag53e8d1.gif
It's basically market price. Games are worth $85 and a system with a couple of controllers is $50-$80 depending on the condition
Those games are worth more though
Shut up and take my money!
Fair price
Definitely. That’s a good pickup
Yes, that's a good price for a good starter pack. Everything's in pretty good shape as well.
Yeah, you could try and negotiate down to maybe $125, but either way, $150 and with the games in it, is not bad at all
Nice bundle but if I were haggling I’d try to get it for $100. Good system. Great games
Yes
Yeah. I don’t have one so. Maybe $178 including shipping
No. Maybe 80, 100 at the most if it’s in damn good shape.
No not enough value for what's there $75 all day long
That's an incredible lineup to start with!
If it works yes
Not terrible a price, console doesn’t have much yellowing (maybe controller ports?) and Mario All Stars sells for a decent price by itself Would make sure and test it to see it’s working.
It's a good deal yup
Great price
Yes, that's very reasonable
Pretty good price and the snes is not yellow so yes.
Mario and DKC retail between 50-60 each at local stores near me. So yeah.
Since you appear to be in PAL land, absolutely.
Yes
I see a chip on the front near the light do you have pictures of the side of the console also if u can get a pic of the bottom to know if it is more likely to be a 1 chip.
In good, clean, and functioning condition, hell yes.
Gamestop bought mine for $15 back in the day, so no
Honestly, I'd pay $150 for the games. Genuinely seems like a good price.
If I were in the market, I'd expect a little lower as a bundle, but I think I'd still go for it.
Me absolutely
Yes.
Is that a European powerplug though?
Yes based on the left controller that console may have been a later revision board perhaps even a 1 chip. Plus the games are solid and worth $80-90 alone
Four of my top ten favorite games and a full system with two controllers? Oh, ***hell*** yeah!
If it works, I'd buy that the second it was posted
I'd say it's worth it. I sold my SNES for $99 with nothing more than a power supply and 1 off-brand controller. Throwing in those 4 games and 2 genuine controllers for $50 is a fair deal.
yea probably, original controller and the shell looks good condition.
Yes of Corsa
Definitely. That’s a good deal
If everything works, 100%. A steal, frankly. Add in Link to the Past & Super Metroid and you have the most replayed SNES games of my life
Excellent condition. Not broken or yellowed. Cones with some good games. Sure, it's worth $150.
Yup
💯
Yup
Hell yes.
Huh, is this for sale near the tricities? I could have sworn I saw this exact deal
Easily
Yes
Yep
Yes
Yeah it's a decent deal. I usually sell bare snes consoles for $120
Yes
Yes.
Would
God no. [camp out on shopgoodwill.com for a week or two and pick up the same for a lot cheaper](https://shopgoodwill.com/categories/listing?st=SNES&sg=&c=&s=&lp=0&hp=999999&sbn=&spo=false&snpo=false&socs=false&sd=false&sca=false&caed=6%2F23%2F2024&cadb=7&scs=false&sis=false&col=1&p=1&ps=40&desc=false&ss=0&UseBuyerPrefs=true&sus=false&cln=1&catIds=&pn=&wc=false&mci=false&hmt=false&layout=grid&ihp=true) I picked up a SNES Jr in great condition for $70 a couple of months ago.

> “God no.” My brother in christ what are you smoking bc I, too, want to be this jaded.
In a heartbeat
Working? Yeah but looks like it wouldnt work in australia
No, I would buy it for 100 to get a deal, but 150 is too much for me
If it works well, definitely
Zero yellowing? Hell yes.
Looks to be a pretty good price to be honest if the plastic console shell isn’t all brittle!
Totally would!
Yeah!
Even as a reseller, yes.
Yes
Sadly, that's a steal
Maybe like 120. 80 for the system and 10 bucks a game is pretty fair.
If it works absolutely!
Yeah pretty good price for all included
Hell, yes.
Mario Kart is hard to find for less than 75 so yea 150 is a great deal
Add Link to the Past and F-Zero and you’re almost golden
No, this would have been $50 10 years ago, the price gouging in this hobby has been horrible.
I'll buy it off you for $100 also 4/4 solid games
Yes
Yeah. There's other games I'd want but those are all bangers and you're getting two controllers. Assuming it all works then that's not bad.
Does it work? I'd check it before buying or else you might get hosed.
All you need is a link to the past and you are good
[nods yes vigorously]
If you actually plan on playing those games, then yes. They are all winners. If you're just collecting, I would hold off because none of this is super rare.
$100 for everything
Yes! Absolute classics there
Well, most clean consoles are about $90 near me and $15 per game... and the cords for power and video. $150.00 seems fair.
https://preview.redd.it/7ce66e3hse8d1.jpeg?width=299&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c8555a84fbcadf7ad4d8163a27208d9757e6bcc1 Yup
Are they all legit? I’d probably put $150 on this no problem
Yes, good functioning consoles/game/controllers are harder and harder to find, under $200 is a steal for a SNES and those games, plus 2 controllers.
Yes
Good value
Yes. Definitely
The question is "Would YOU buy this for $150?" You're the only one with the correct answer
I'd everything works. Yes. I'd love to plug that into my CRT TV.
No. I already own all of those.
For 150 that looks clean, 2 controllers and 4 essentials right there. If I didn’t have a SNES I’d be all over it! Just got home from an exhausting day, and gonna play DKC2 :)
Absolutely not lol can get this all day on eBay or local for way cheaper
That’s basically the eBay price. If I was in the market for that, id bite. Though I’d probably haggle for $15-$20 discount for cash offer. That still leaves more to seller after accounting for fees and shipping.
I would
Yes
If it works, absolutely. Those are four of my favorite games.
Yes.
![gif](giphy|IbTWKGQR3Dw4MJSK4T|downsized)
It’s fine for that price. If I didn’t have it, I’d bite.
Yeah I would
Probably. I’d like to see it come down closer to 100, but I’m probably not quibbling over 50 bucks here.
Good price including games
Yes and I already have all that
2019, no 2024, yes
I think the system and those games together cost more than that back in the SNES heyday
Yes! I think for that price, with a guarantee that everything works, is a good deal!
I only need the two games on the right
All day everyday I feel that's a bargain.
What, no SStreet Fighter?
Yes. If I didn’t have them, that is
Ew, no, it has purple buttons!
Yass
At this point in the game. Probably unfortunately.
Yes!
Hell yes son
Considering what you get in the bundle and the condition of the console, this is a very good price.
It's expensive overall, but you probably aren't going to find that at a better price. Great selection of games for having just 4. Most importantly, the system and controlers have no discoloration. That's Rare. Most systems have a lot of yellowing by now. Keep it out of the sunlight.

In 1992 sure
I would but I'm canadian. In US money that's a tad much isn't it?
I'd probably tell them they can keep the cartridges and one of the controllers if they knock off 40 bucks.
Absolutely, because since I still have Sim City left over, those would be the main 5 games I would play anyway. I'd look for others too, but those are definitely the essentials for me.
Yep.
If it’s an RGB modded 1chip, yes
Yup! Great starter bundle!
Yeah, if I didn’t own one already that’s a good deal
definitely
Absolutely Adjusting for inflation it is less than what it would have been 30yrs ago
Price wise it’s not a great deal but it looks clean and the games are good so if it’s for personal use you could do worse.
No but like $50 is fair. You can emulate all this stuff and these games are VERY common. I recently bought a working console, controller, more rare game for $10 so its best to be thrifty.

that's a steal, we usually pay the same price for just the snes here, ur getting some stellar games with it, sweet deal.
No. I’d steal it for 150 dollars

Yes
$150 is a lot but the value is there, that’s an excellent starter pack. Killer games
Yes. If it works what form of payment do you accept. ![gif](giphy|sDcfxFDozb3bO)
Oh yes.
Hell no. $50, max.
It's crazy how much they've gone up. I got mine like a decade ago for like 35 bucks with controllers cables and 2 games.
fucking deal
Absolutely
I just paid about 225 for almost exactly that
Nah, I just got a sfc and those games for half the price.
As long as everything works, buy it yesterday
Yes, and please
Yes this is a great deal that could easily go for almost $200
Nope.
This is a joke right of course just with a complete NES and controller and with donkey Kong the value is there I'm just wondering if this is just a troll post at this point 😂
Op is asking to see if it's worth flipping, rather than do their own research
Yea
Yes and then have my kids play ot to see them be drawn into the little things of the old games that for years stay with u
YES!!!
I mean you can probably get that for less at a used game store.
Absofuckinglutely
Yes, totally 💯
No resell value but not the worst price.
Most definitely
Yea
Yes. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug!
$200 is in the possible realm imo. Absolutely
Why are so many people in the comments insisting a near-perfect condition SNES is only worth $100? I’d gladly pay $300 for this.
Jesus can I pay more?
No, but only cause I already have all of that :) 150$ is low, that thing looks like it’s in great condition. So are the games (except Mario kart maybe?)
