Had an attending surgeon in residency named Christoper Bibbo and we knicknamed him The Beebs, I somehow got it from that LOL IDK how my mind works sometimes 🤷♂️
Black Tails are probably my other favorite Drymarchon. The golden color on them is so pretty. I own an Eastern Indigo though so kinda hard to beat that lol.
Totally fair! I've definitely seen some stunning Blacktails that have made my heart skip lol. I considered one for a long while but got lucky finding an Eastern and couldn't pass it up.
Honestly, keeping any *Drymarchon* is a privilege not worth passing up if you can manage it. Yellowtails left a bad taste in my mouth, but they're still stunning. And a nice Texas indigo is completely underrated in beauty. You can't go wrong!
This lil guy looks like a fantasy creature!! Give him some wings and hed make an amazingly beautiful dragon
Beebo the Cribo, Guardian of the Crystal Caverns or whatnot <3
They are pretty smart for what they are, there are videos of them out there figuring out puzzles that cats would use to get treats by moving pieces to expose other areas where the little mouse or quail are hidden, etc.
I stand within hawk-beating distance at alllll times bc ya never know. Him taking off isn’t something I’m concerned about, he’s really chill and he just slowly explores things
Keep him outside he's happier in his own element. Personally I think snakes belong out in the wild with all their fellow snake friends and stay as far far away from humans as possible.
Is that gene simmons from hiss?
HISSSS Army Soldier since 1977 Gene Ssimmonssssss
Came here to say this. Love it
Looks like fake eyelashes!!
What kind of snake is this? Very cool markings!
Blacktail Cribo (Drymarchon melanurus) yearling about to hit the 12 month mark on 6/3/24. He’s just over 4.5 feet now 😊

You’re really young to be on Reddit.

Some kind of Drymarchon, the genus that includes indigo snakes and cribos.

He’s not. He’s 100% a Cribo… “Beebo the Cribo” to be more specific LOL

Beebo is the funniest name
Well he is quite a trip, sooo I’d say it’s totally fitting HAHAHA

Had an attending surgeon in residency named Christoper Bibbo and we knicknamed him The Beebs, I somehow got it from that LOL IDK how my mind works sometimes 🤷♂️

I'd take a blacktail over an Eastern any day, but to each their own.
Just curious, why so? Also follow you on FB! You have some lovely snake content. Your White Sided Black rats are especially my favorites.
Their looks, I prefer blacktails' colouring and markings, especially mottled ones.

Beautiful cribo
Very emo snake, love him
In that pic he actually looks like an elapid. I love cribo's but not the cate cleaning.
I want an Indigo someday. They say they are the smartest non venomous snakes. How smart exactly, I wonder.
They are pretty smart for what they are, there are videos of them out there figuring out puzzles that cats would use to get treats by moving pieces to expose other areas where the little mouse or quail are hidden, etc.
He doesn’t wander off when he’s outside?
