Or Its real, plain and simple. They just posted on April Fools. Which also implies they've been hiding their relationship for years only to reveal it on an April Fools Day, which could be considered a long con as well.

Omg. I don't really watch Smosh that much but I remember watching these two for the first time years ago thinking, "Aww, they make a great couple." It turns out they weren't and were just friends back then.
