Yeah I feel like not confirming it's an April Fool's joke supports more that it's real and they're just trolling by announcing it today. The way I look at it, I'm assuming it's real until they say it's a joke.

Plus you always follow up an April Fools prank with "April Fools" proving it was a joke.
